Mitten, if you don't think this car is worth $50K, I don't think you're driving it to it's potential. The combination of power and grip is Godlike, and I defy anyone to find anything comparable at 50K. Driven to it's limits, this car is magical. I own exactly the car Mark has pictured here, 2023, and it is a dream.

I bought my 2020 SS 1LE brand new for $40.000 in Vegas. Worth every penny.
I just got a 2ss. I love all the bells and whistles that come come with it.

I dont think so! Every 1le up to 2021 were 6 speeds so the rare ones with be the last 3 yrs of the auto's their will be more 6 speeds 1le's than auto's.. and the auto's are faster and get better fuel mileage ..checked mine today..25.8mpg.. 6 speeds are for guys that think they are cool shifting gears, wrong!! Most women can drive a standard shift too..quit hanging on to the past!! Lol..cars are more advanced now and the car manufacturers realized that the cars are faster and more efficient with the new auto's...ive had camaro's ,trans ams , jeeps and mustangs that were standard shift but i dont miss them at all...I love my A10 its just as fun to go thru the gears as a 6 speed and when im on the way to work i can cruise and sip on my coffee and not have to pedal the car!! And no tired leg sitting in traffic on vacation..dont miss that all!!! Lambo's and Ferrari's dont have standard shifts anymore..if its good enough for a lambo its good enough for me!!

Automatic is optional on the SS1le well for 2022 it is and it’s also faster. I had to go for a 10A since I daily drive my 1le in the city. Got it new back in March for 48k with no markups.
I was unaware they changed that for the newest ones
I own three different year Camaros and two different generations! Two SS’s and one ZL1. If you are going to buy a Camaro the best way is with the 1LE package and a six speed manual.

Your car is the first 1SS I've ever seen with LED lights on the doors. TBH that's the only thing I wish my 1LE to had...
Almost everything on the Camaro is optional. I've got a 1 SS with upgraded 8"radio, all the upgraded cooling including the diff cooler, and upgraded 6 piston and 4 piston brembos. GM offers everything as an upgrade for the Camaro SS except an LT4 and specific body designs. It's nice for the folks who prefer the look of the SS, but want the performance benefits from the 1LE. I did not opt for the Recaro seats or the magnetic ride, but they are certainly available for those willing to pay for it. I also have line lock and launch control, but no HUD. The options are endless. I remember looking at the options on GMs builder site and just thinking to myself that the only reason they even offer particular "packages" is to simplify the buying options for the average person.
The shape is outdated just because we know what year we're at. But i think 15 yrs from now it will be the best looking last muscle car. Lines are so just right
sorry to say the front splitter is a option on the 1le. Its only standard on the ZL1. Most car dealers add it for the jacked up 10k over msrp. I think the only real thing that is different from the 2ss is that the 1Le has launch control.
When I was looking I never found anything that said the splitter was an option. I will have to look into that. As for the 2ss, There are a lot of things the 2ss gets that the 1ss 1le doesn't get. Better speakers, dual climate control, heated and cooled seats, and blind spot monitor system are some of the things. Standard 2ss also has smaller brakes, narrower wheels, and you don't get the track cooling package. You can also get launch control on a 2SS.
@@markskeem you said standard. most of that are options. both are still great cars. i been looking at getting the 2ss. not sure if i need the 1le package because I dont do tracks. ZL1 would be nice but that 82k price tag just too much for me.

@@markskeem Ok sorry you were right. I got my 2ss, it came with a front splitter but it was a option. but I also added the diffuser. had 3 miles on it when i left the lot. I didnt get the the 1le package because I am not getting on the track. it was 8k more also for a option i would never use
Is that ambient lighting? Thought the SS doesn’t come with it
It is ambient lighting. It is an option you can get, but mine did not come with it factory. The last owner installed some of the ambient light. So the center screen does not change color and I don't have the cup holder light. I just have the lights on the doors and the floors
Are you sure you cant get the 1le package with the automatic transmission?
It became available in an auto in 2019. So I did not find that out until after I made the video. I did most of the research on my model year

The LT1 is the base model. No 1LE on it sadly.
Can you get dual mode exhaust aftermarket?
Yes there are companies that offer that. They are usually a little more expensive. Some will using the factory actuators. Some will have you wire in their own actuators

Its not true that the 1LE package does not come in a 10 speed automatic. I have one...LOL. 2021 bought it brand new and it actually outperforms the manual.
Yes, the new ones you can get an auto. But it was only manual for a while

@@purplerain1558 Hood vents on the 6th gen like my car are in the same places as mine. Last generation, The 5th gen, have the vents in the center
I retract my last statement. I saw the one you are talking about. There is a generation with the face lift after my year that has the center vents. The earlier years of the 6th gen has my hood vents

That depends on what you want, I have 2SS 1le I love the package although it’s not faster in a quarter mile but is much faster on a track and looks a lot better IMO
Agreed, I think there is so much more to this car than raw numbers. The real beauty, in my opinion, is the control with which the power is delivered. She just never lets go of the road.
