    I love how you point out that children who have a habit of out of control tantrums and behavior actually feel discouraged with their actions too! We are doing a child a BIG favor when we connect, correct, and encourage children to change misbehavior. You are doing great work !!

      Thank you! If you would like to help, please like and share. Sometimes I feel discouraged myself because my channel is so small, but I appreciate your kind words and it helps motivate me to continue. 😊💕

      @@MommyAnswerLady I shared your CTM video with my son who’s 2.5 years old and been a chronic screamer for MONTHS and the change was dramatic and very quick. I thought I had heard every approach to tantrums etc. but CTM was very creative and non-traumatic. It definitely sounds more dramatic than it is…. At least in this case. Anyway I am a big fan!

      Also another strategy you can use to help gain followers is to pin comments with success stories at the top of your comments. Or make sure you have a success story at the top by asking your loyal followers to post those successes asap after the video has dropped. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

    Hello, I stand behind my two year old , hold his arms down with one of my arms (hug) and do ctm with the other because my child kicks and screams . It works very well at home . I meet with mom groups for play dates about twice a week . My child has tantrums at the outings. At times just walking towards him or standing behind him and holding down his hands work . Other times , I know CTM Is required but I know doing this around progressive parents would cause an uproar . They’re alarmed as it is because I stand behind him and hold his hands . I am very calm while doing it. What is your advice for dealing with tantrums in public

    • @MommyAnswerLady
      @MommyAnswerLady  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is something not as it should be. If it is being done as instructed, he would not have tantrums in public.
      Please watch the video again all the way through and write down all points of instruction. Then figure what you are missing.
      Most of the time, when this is happening, the follow through isn’t being done correctly. In other words, the CTM is not done until they give up at home. As soon as the child begins to quiet down but not completely give up, the parent stops the process too early.
      After you rewatch the instructions, Lmk what you find.
