- The All India Lawyers Association for Justice has reportedly written to the BAR Council of Karnataka, opposing a talk organized on UCC where Advocate J Sai Deepak will be the speaker. "The main speaker proposed for the event is known to be a staunch supporter of India being turned into a Hindu Rashtra, a proposition that runs counter to our constitutional democracy," they wrote in a letter to the Bar Council. How can anybody stop a man’s opinion on a subject in a democratic country. Bar council has nothing to do with this before the event. Deepak himself is a Supreme Court lawyer and he knows his limits.

Because lawyers are corrupt. They want do lot of money. Uniform civil court reduce complications and poor peoples get easy justice.😊
Uniform civil code will not be simple. It will give rise to more complications. For example, if polygamy becomes illegal for Muslims, there will be several off-the-record marriages, which will be a gold mine for lawyers. So will be the uniform inheritance laws which will give equal share to women. The lawyers will be consulted on how to get around this and the lawyers will be approached to implement it. Lawyers will not be the losers either way.

Meanwhile in Australia I read it has Uniform Civil Code during the preparation of the citizenship test, and then even my Muslim friends from Afghanistan accept it and live happily here in Australia, also many from Pakistan, middle east, etc, there is no separate civil law for them.

Why is sai deepak not yet booked for instigating communal harmony??? Anyone else in his place would have been arrested by now. A young teenager Jayalakshmi was arrested on charges of sedition just for supporting farmers during the farmers' bill of 2020. So it's always using Brahmastra against little sparrows is it????!!!!!
