It fits in nicely with the tales of "Alf Lailah wa Lailah" the Arabian Nights. To understand Ibn-Alarabi, one needs to study his actual works. For the benefit of the listener, let me point out something: The reader in the video mentions "the Sin meets the Sin" in the Ottoman Sultan's scenario; the reader's pronunciation seems to be wrong; the 2 words should be read as "... the Seen meets the Sheen"; "Seen" is the Arabic letter ( س), and "Sheen" is the Arabic letter ( ش); letter "Seen" is the first letter in the sultan's name, and "Sheen" is the first letter in "Shaam". However, this has nothing to with the truth or significance of the tale.

All authentic scholars are sufis ot followers of sufis. Including ibn taymiah who follow jilani.
Imam shafii said a couolet that none sufis scholars have no taqwa or fear if Allah SWT and paradise inly for people of taqwah and that is what we see now from scholars whom bought by kings .
