    Great video, and many truthful points about the realities of your operation of an honest business. Continue with your integrity, instead of being someone who is lacking it. We know who they are now. Keep up the great work!

    He makes some point about you dont label your unit. Any thoughts on that? i would have thought if you are selling a kit its technically just a collection of parts so how could you me expected to fit tags on anything? you have no control over the quality of the finished unit. I might be missing his point on that one. cheers

    Good defense video, very well done. This just shows how evil can hurt other people. This bad guy needs to repent and ask for your forgiveness. Jesus said ..."do unto others as you would have them do unto you"....

    Greetins Steve from Finland.
    In have been watching your videos for a while. The way i see you have a free set of videos on how to build a gasifier. (Allthough it might be that i’m mixing few builders videos in my mind because i look at several gasifier-content-producers videos at the same time.) If someone hasn’t been building anything before then he/she doesn’t know where to buy materials. I live in rural part of Finland and i have been working in industrial maintenance and i have been a car-and machineparts salesman and also i have been a racingcar driver and builder (in very basic class but still…). I find that it takes a lot of work to find stuff; for example a company that could do laser/plasmacutting for a single customer with a reasonable price. You have made that work and you have produced a bunch of lasercut parts and you sell them at a low margin to customers. You sell individual parts even if someone could source everything else themselves and i think that is something that shows atleast to me that you are more helping than making a profit. You could sell more if you sold only complete kits. Thats how many companies do.
    And when you buy lasercut flanges in order that the cost would be reasonable you have to order like 100 pieces or even more. Then you sell them on a low margin piece by piece and you get maybe 10% profit for keeping all that money tied to your stock… I appreciate that you do that 😊. You make a little profit but your customer still gets the part cheaper than if they would ask someone to make a single one.
    As you said Ben has written a book and he has done a lot of good with that. You have distributed his book so he should be thankfull. You do your business somewhat based on that book but he can’t take credit for that. He didn’t invent gasification; he just developed it in hes own way. Just like you do develop your desingns after where he stopped. Thats how technical evolution works. I haven’t heard that Nicolaus Otto’s family has demanded credit when some advancement has been made on gasoline engines.
    Ben did work on gasification in the past. But now that you have improved he’s design it isn’t he’s doing. He may think that you wouldn’t be in this business without he’s efforts but thats just narcism.
    I wish you and your business all the best and i thankyou for your channel. I will hit the description. Its kinda sad that ordering from us would be so expensive that i can’t do that even if i couldn’t produce something myself.

    For years I've thought about making these and selling them through craigslist or whatever... can't imagine the legal nightmare you're going through. Got a builders bible, now i'm not sure I'd wanna deal with the BS that comes with trying to make a living with this.

      I'm creating a network of independent builders that want to build these gasifiers. Contact me if you would like more information. steve@offgrid48.com

    I have been working on gasifier since I purchased my first computer. At that time the internet had two articles about gasifiers, one being a minister in Australia who had an International van that he pulled a trailer with a gasifier. Frankly It was so long ago I don't remember the other. I listened to one person and he convinced me to buy the book. After reading it, I don't know you or your connection with Ben's book, I have to ask what you found useful with his book?? The thing is sooo big, that you would never run a car on it, and for stationary use, you have to build steps to the top of the hopper to fill it. That certainly not what made them popular during WWII.

    • @steveoffgrid485
      @steveoffgrid485  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My interest in the book was in getting a production level, proven gasifier design that would make engine quality gas. My primary interest is in power generation, but I have had several customers put it on the back of a truck for vehicle use. Adding the hopper does increase the overall to about 8 feet but can greatly increase runtime, generally used for stationary applications.

    Ben is being dumb… I watched his video and the blatant accusations are begging for a defamation lawsuit. He better be able to prove in court those things are true.
