I've always liked the character of Bo-Katan. Initially, I struggled with her pettiness here, but eventually realized, we're seeing someone very human, something we don't often see from Mandalorians. Most are either covered in a heroic presence or a lot of bravado, but Bo wears her emotions, in this case depression, on her sleeve. And who can blame her? She lost her elder sister tragically. She lost her friends and billions of her people to the Empire in a horrific purge, and with it, her leadership position and the respect of everyone. If anything, she's holding up pretty well. Many would have fallen on their swords by now.
Her sister died almost 40 yrs ago. She started off crude & flippant, but she changed over time. By the time of Rebels she was convincing Sabine not to kill a bunch of storm troopers. He character arc is very established. This episode is not reflective of that. She would have fought whoever claimed the rule of the Mandalorian forces to win that right.
RIP Carl Weathers ... Just as a sidenote Pedro Pascal only did Din's voice this season the physical Din was done by either Brandan Wayne or Lateef Crowder. Pedro was doing The Last of Us during production of S3.
There is a reason for the beast to be near the place where they live. The Mandalorians crave combat and ways to test themselves. They do not live well on a peaceful planet without something/one to fight.
Great reaction! 😊 RIP always to Carl Weathers(Greef Karga)!!! 1:18 - 2:30 Surprise! That was not a flashback. When this episode originally aired, a lot of people thought that it was a flashback. And that the young boy was Din. 4:01 - 4:14 That was a Purrgil. 😊 Loved seeing Mando teaching Grogu how to navigate the ship. At least until the pirates showed up. And Bo Katan is back! Looking forward to your next reaction. 😊
@@thatnerdtaraSame here when I first saw the episode when it first aired. LOL! One thing I forgot to mention in the feedback was that I really liked how it picked up where it left off between Mando and the Armour from when we last saw them together in "The Book of Boba Fett". It was a good set up for the rest of the season.
So something that isn't made apparent is that this episode takes place 2 years after Grogu left with Luke. So that is why Nivaro is so different from the last time we saw it. Ik people REALLY dislike this season but I love it especially now that you've seen Bo. Also.....BAD BABY 😂😂
Yeah the Purgills showing up got me giddy haha. Funny story I wasn't home the day this Episode came out so had to wait a full day till I could get home and watch it but Silly me opened Twitter while I was away knowing it was out and I see #Ezra trending on the hashtags and my first thought was "DANGIT What?!?! Ezra makes an appearance in Mando?! crap I got spoilt!" but luckily after I watched it I realized it was just because Purgills showed up haha
Bo doesnt want to fight Din for 2 reasons. 1) He's honorable & has kept his word to her & stood by her. 2) She can't beat him. He'd crush her in a fight. Your question is valid though. Its out of character for her not to challenge him. The whole season is like this.
Bo Would destroy him in a fight.. Just saying... They did that because of fans they didn't want to see the two fight. They actually become lovers.. Actually they were supposed to kiss pretty passionately in that 1 scene. But they took that out they thought it was too far.. But it was filmed
@@Pinkielover Ummm...he's a man. He's stronger, faster, bigger, younger, etc. He's been fighting a lot more than her recently. He's at least 20yrs younger than her. Bo is in her early 50s, Din is 29-30 yrs old. No equally trained 50 yr old woman can beat a 30yr man. His armor is newer, stronger, & has better coverage. Din wins 100/100. That's one of the silliest SW comments I've seen in awhile.
It's complicated, but she re-post something that is sort of a Holocaust comparison. If you read deeper, you get what she was trying to say. But many people will just see the surface. She wasn't under contract for anything when they decided to discontinue her character. If she has proof of a conspiracy, let her have her day in court.
After waiting for over 2 years, this episode was very disappointing. Mando needs a droid, goes to get droid, fixes droid, droid goes crazy and Mando shoots droid. Episode was about 35 minutes long.
Cara Dune was so unfairly treated. She deserved to be in this. Figures one of the good female characters Disney had is gone because of real-life political reasons. At least she's still doing fine in other things.
@@shoot646 it does, & it does have its moments, but after how great the 1st two seasons were, it's a huge letdown. You also watched Kenobi before this, so your expectations may have been lowered. There were entire episodes that were just garbage, & ones that were completely disconnected from the show. I felt the same about ahsoka. That show had some really bad writing & really bad acting in it. But alas, it's what we've got.

She must feel so alone. I feel for her.
@@thatnerdtara Wait a few episodes lol.
@@JMFBizzle fyi, the purge happened after Rebels...
@@ARandomInternetUser08 No idea how that's relevant.
For every newer-ish reactors who watch The Mandalorian, we get to visit Carl Weathers and enjoy his company.
Rest In Peace, Carl Weathers

Pretty much. Don't expect a helmet removal this time around.
Thanks, Tara! 🌠 This is an unusual season, but I found much to love about it; I hope you will, too.
The Bo & Din combination is absolutely a fun one this season, I enjoyed every moment of it.
Yeah it's like a Batman and Batman team up lol ... villains never stood a chance ...
indeed #Bodin

When I saw this the first time and they said Pirates, I was really hoping this would be the live action intro to Hondo…alas no.
Bo Katan is one of my favorite secondary characters. Tough to see her soo down here
I taken you are in The Acolyte? Also great reaction to this episode.
I’ve only watched the first episode
Wow your on mandalorian season 3. Time flies
Good reaction Tara
I’m a Luke skywalker mega fan
This season runs concurrent with Ahsoka.
Mandalorian saved GROGU and Star Wars! ✌️
Um You do know star wars doesn't need to be saved... Doing just fine..
@Pinkielover
It's not doing fine, in my opinion. ✌️
And sadly The Acolyte is destroying Star Wars again.
And I thought the gators were big here in Florida man that’s a big one
When it rolled 😭 so scary!
Especially in this season, you're going to be a little behind. There's a ton of stuff covered in other shows.
no squeezie!

Why you dont watch the Obi-Wan Series ?
She has watched it, she just didn't record any reactions to it
Never trust a pirate...especially one that looks like Pizza's the Hutt's cousin. Gorian shart salad Jones.
The true boogie man
Yeah, there's no Cara Dune.
It's her own fault. Go read the opening statement for the court case, it's hilarious.
It's her own fault? Why?
You read the lawsuit? Where is it published? I'd like to take a look at it.

This is the season where Mando and Star Wars starts falling off a cliff. Enjoy the ride!

Why do you want the bigot back?

I really hate what Dinsey did to Gina Carano! That is why the British are increasingly better; Watch Eastern movies and series!

Yeah, this season isn't great...its confusing & disjointed...
Its got its moments. I feel like the worst of it is still pretty decent, it almost has clone wars vibes to it, like the senate murders arc.

You're getting to see a character you will notice in the sequel trilogy. It's the, shall we say a better part in the sequels. To each their own.
