You're upbeat enthusiasm is always such a breath of fresh air compared to another side of the fandom, you're reactions make me appreciate Star Wars even more with each upload
You saw r5-d4 in A New Hope when Owen and Luke bought droids to the Jawas. Owen first chose C3PO and R5 before the latter failed. He then chose to replace R5 with R2
Funny how everything in Star Wars always leads back to Tatooine somehow! Apart from Jakku in "The Force Awakens" and Jedha in "Rogue One" We almost never see a desert planet in mainstream Star Wars. Considering how vast their Galaxy is, it's honestly ridicilous!
Bo dove in with no fear. Now you know what it truly means to be Mandolorian. The whole episode showcased her bravery and willingness to fight to save even a single Mandolorian. Even one from a crazy cult offshoot that doesn't recognize her rightful role as leader. She knows something bad happened to Mando. With little to no intell, she rushes to his aid Fights multiple native humanoids. Sees some scary looking thing attacking Mando and doesn't hesitate to attack. Agrees to guide Mando even deeper, not knowing what other horrors and perils exist. Then the diving into the water to save Mando yet again.
I REALLY liked this episode. So much stuff I wanted to see for so long in live action. Just being on Mandalore again, The Mythasaur!, Bo pointing out how frustrating it is that Mandalorians have been ununited for so long, tribes/factions letting their minor differences divide them. Feels very relatable as an American with today's politics and culture. I love Bo's sarcastic tone about her "religion" and sacred place when she says "the living wadders....". Like it's a tourist trap, but then as she sees Din slowly walks down the steps, the look on her face says "Okay, that got even me a little".
Up until THAT point, we didn't know if the stories about the Mythosaur was real, this is the first time we've seen the creature in more than stylized depictions of it's skull.
Bo was in the position of feeling unfamiliar with her own culture. Mando believed in it, completely. Bo had distanced herself from it as so much folklore. And forgot that Mandalorians are more than a planet and collections of buildings.
The difference in their beliefs is all through star wars. That's why the Mandalorians always are at war with each other. It's the same as our society today. We're all human but there's always been war going on someplace in the world. Even as Americans, there are always divisions. Race, Religion, Geographical, Political, Cultural, etc. It's the way of mankind. When things get bad, ppl tend to come together & unite under a common goal, think 911, WWII, etc. When things are good, ppl tend to argue & fight, too much leisure time to think & focus on our differences. That's a big part of the theme for this season.
Back when Bo and Satine were young there was a civil war in Mandalore in which they lost their father. In order to restore the peace, 2 jedi were sent to protect the older sister, who would inherit the throne. These jedi were no other than master Qui Gon and his aprentice Obi Wan. As a fun fact: Boba's Father Jango Fett participated in this conflict as a mando foundling. After the war, Satine became a pacifist and reformed the planet to prevent anymore destruction. Bo on her side, wasnt fond of her sister's politics and focused on keeping her family legacy as a warrior and sided with death watch.

Thank you. That means a lot to me!
One of my favourite episodes of the season.
The droid in SW IV New Hope!
tara when bo saw the mythasaur, it was like in peter pan when wendy said i do believe in fairies, i think it was peter pan, or someother movie?
Seeing the mythosaur rocked bo's beliefs, everything she thought was just a story, and mocked suddenly became real

You beat me to it. Iol
OMG. I love that!
Was there another droid named R5 in something else? It seemed familiar.

There is a theory that R5 made himself go out of control in order for Uncle Owen to decide to get R2 to get Leia's message to Obi Wan.
Episode one. Bo had lost her Way. Episode two. Din shows her the Way. “THIS is the Way.”
The way his voice cracks a little bit too 😭
Seeing Sundari in that state was depressing. I remember seeing that place all lively in TCW.

Thanks, Tara! 🌌 Since you wondered about the meaning of spelunking... it's cave exploration. Many Earthlings do it as a hobby.

💯💯💯
@_Young_jedi Yes, my young Jedi, lol.
#PeliMottoCrew for life (even toothless) 💖
That white n red R5-D4 droid is the same one that was in A New Hope and short circuited on purpose so Luke would take R2 from the Jawas.
+1 on a history of Mandalore series

Boonta eve is the same pod race that Anakin won
Great reaction 💯
thing is their beliefs are not much different, just more to extremes just like the world we live in
Tara why did you put a streak in your hair ?
