I used to be a night owl. Id stay up late and get up with just enough time to get ready for work and go. These days, im in bed by 9 and up around 4am. That gives me time to do a workout, make the bed, take care of my cats, cook myself a real breakfast and then get ready without being in a huge rush. Some mornings its hard getting up, but i feel so much more relaxed having that time to get ready.
I have two kids, so I'm up at 6:15am. After they get to school I workout. I drink a gallon of water a day, walk 2-3 miles a day, & intermittent fast everyday. So I only eat from 12:00pm-6:00pm. I've been doing that for almost 5 years now, & I'm the healthiest & fit that I've ever been in my life. I'm also 36 years old. Taking care of your physical & mental health is priority for us as humans.💗
I say all the time that I'm not a morning person or a night person, I'm a sleep person. 😅 But starting a morning routine has definitely motivated me and I now look forward to my time in the mornings. Now I just have to get up at a regular time...
I agree 💯 a morning routine is so important and definitely helps me get ready for my day. I typically get up and will read or do my daily devotional before getting the family up and ready for the day.
I also have my routine mornings, which I value very much. However, I've been an owl all my life, I go to bed late, but I still try to get up as early as I can. Lately it's around 8-8:30 am. The first thing I do when I wake up is prepare a glass of lemon water and get ready to workout. I workout intensively for about 2.5 hours, 6 days a week. After exercise, shower etc, and then my favorite part of the day: makeup :) And then it depends on what I have to do, but I try to go for an hour walk.
Good morning! I love sitting at my vanity in the mornings, taking my time (within reason) on my makeup and just watching you tube videos or listening to podcasts.
Your routine is so calming and yet motivating at the same time, thanks for sharing. Like you I've switched from being an insomniac night owl to a productive AM person. 5 AM to 6.30 AM is the only real peaceful part of my day because I'm the only one awake. Once the family's up, forget it!

Those are the two things that are set in stone that I definitely do every day. I definitely want to get started journaling again but it's more of a summer thing because I enjoyed doing it outside, but I need to find nice place to do it in here. I also pray right before I go to bed at night, and a quick grateful one as soon as I wake up in the morning.
Watching this video after watching the first video on your second channel. I really haven’t been watching content like this for awhile& I hadn’t noticed how much I was slipping! Idk maybe it’s like body doubling or just simply being influenced 😉 but I’m so glad I’m back to watching this content& lighting the fire to get back into using my planner after abandoning it for a month. Getting back into cherishing my Stanley & the new one my sister got me for Christmas to get back into drinking at least 40oz a day. To re begin taking care of myself. Thankfully that last one wasn’t totally off the rails& more a quick grab out of danger. Thank you for the work you do 💖💖💖

Aries getting the bed made around her and picking her ootd was the cutest. My routine is making coffee, and while it brews I will do a quick workout or yoga, then I can relax and watch TH-cam while I sip my coffee and let my sweat dry.
I love how Aries is always there for you. We let our dog sleep with us. She lays in between us. I love her baby YODA. I enjoyed seeing this. #SamSquad. ❤
LOVE a reusable water bottle!!! I have an app on my phone that reminds me to drink water during my waking hours (12:30pm until 4am). I am and will always be a night owl which I was very happy to learn a week ago is a perfectly normal way to be and not as uncommon as I was lead to believe for years.
Great video! I’m totally a night owl! Always have been since I was young. I only ever got up super early because of work. It’s so hard for me to get up early and then to be productive on top of that is just not happening. It doesn’t help that I have chronic pain and anxiety and chronic migraines and treatment resistant depression as well. So staying in bed is what I do a lot. I want to be that person that gets up and does things so bad but I don’t even know where to begin. I have 3 big dogs and go through bouts of evening walks for a few weeks then I’ll stop for a few months. Ugh. I just don’t know what to do.
I'm recently on a new medication for anxiety and now I struggle so much in the mornings because I'm extra tired. Yes, please share how you developed your morning routine because I would love to hear.

As someone who lives alone and works from home, how do your FORCE yourself to get out of bed that early + get moving on a routine? I tend to laze in bed if I don’t have to be at work 😬😬
for me, i think its because i noticed such big changes once i started a morning routine, and that motivates me. When i see postive changes and my life improving i want to keep doing it ❤️ it wasn't easy in the beginning, but sticking with it i think really paid off!

My favorite part of my morning routine is my babygirl jumping on the bed as soon as the alarm goes off to snuggle and say good morning to her mommy and daddy. And I mean my dog Riley, not an actual human babygirl 😆 . And if I don't get up quickly enough she will keep jumping and pawing at me until I do lol. The 1 thing I wanted to see in your list was the hair curler thing you've got in!!! I'm sure you've talked about it before but where is it from? I keep seeing ppl using them and wanna give it a shot

Ever since having back surgery in June I’ve struggled with Maintaining a good sleep schedule. I desperately want to start waking up and starting my day earlier but I am really struggling with getting to bed early enough to make that happen.
Good morning! Hope you have a great day! I'm a bit of both, but lean more towards being a night owl. It depends. But in the mornings: I go through my planner to check my schedule, read at least a chapter of my current book, and shower. At night: I like to journal, and create my to do list for the next day.

And I feel so inspired to try a more intentional morning now. And I love the 2 days idea I also am a person to have starbs or cairbou coffee 2 times a day since I'm a university student and it's on campus, but I really wanna aim for more balance to help my stomach
Samantha for over 21 years I worked a job that required me to be at work by 5:30am. BUT on my days off I would sleep in until 8:00-8:45 am !! I’m out of work due to an injury that requires surgery and I have quickly fallen into the routine of sleeping way too late! Some days until after 9am .I don’t like sleeping that late but continue to find it difficult to get up earlier if I don’t have a reason, like an appointment or something. I tell myself every night “ I’m going to get up by 7am I set my alarm and STILL I hit snooze and end up just turning it off completely after 1-2 times snoozing the alarm!! It’s so frustrating, once I’m fully awake I am upset with myself and I don’t know how to stop this habit/ routine??? I tell my self it’s because I live in the Colorado mountains and it’s soooo cold in the morning I just don’t want to get up in my very frigid house! But truth be told I sleep almost as late when it’s not as cold , so that really isn’t much if an excuse! So , I would love a video telling how you worked your way into being more of an early bird!! I know , it should be a no brainer , just get your ass out of bed woman!! But I just can’t seem to get it done!!! LOL I adore your videos and appreciate you so much! Give Aries a hug from Colorado!!!
I'm definitely a morning person too. I wake up between 5:15 to 5:30 sunday-thursday and sleep in "late" friday and saturday although my body doesn't usually let me sleep past 8 😅

I am 100% a night owl and always have been even as a child. Alot of the time I might not go to sleep until 4, 5 and even 6am before I can and this is with taking a strong sleeping pill. I truly do not know when I was younger and working how I did it only getting at best 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night. I have always went to bed no later than 1am but I have racing thoughts and it will not shut off unless I take this one med they give to military people with PTSD this is truly a pill from God and not a drug so it's not dangerous. #SamSquad Loads of Love❣
