Amazing store and listening to the sound of you walking across the wood floor brought back memories of old stories in the days before the national chain stores forced the family run businesses to close. Thanks for highlighting this because I thought they were all gone. Your time machine is still working
Luv how when Jordan does a vlog which includes markers or plaques he keeps the camera on the plaque and actually reads the verse out ,really cool and informative that, alot of vloggers just scan the camera over and that's it. Another great vlog Jordan.
OMG, this was so much fun to watch. We used to have a store just like this in town and I miss it so much. You could buy ANYTHING, and it was so cheap. I would have gone through my whole paycheck here! Thank you Jordan. Treats and scritchens for Jah ❤️🌟❤️
Hey Jordan! My Grandfather worked for NCR in Dayton! And I also loved the kaleidoscopes! What a cool place!💕 I especially loved the old toys, I smiled throughout the whole video! 💕
That was so much fun! It was so neat seeing the old toys that are brand new, still to purchase, I think they are Fisher Price? I love places like this, I could have spent hours in there just looking at everything! Thank you for taking us in!!! 🌼
I'm really enjoying your vlog of Louisiana, the state of my father's birth. I never realized that there is so many interesting sights to see outside of New Orleans. Thanks Jordan!!!
Gosh Jordon, what an interesting shop. I could spend a couple of weeks camped in a place like that so I wouldn't miss out on seeing everything. I loved the old kids carts & metal bikes etc. I remember going to a hardware store with my dad as a kid & seeing the same set up used to sell screws, bolts & washes etc. What a really cool place Thankyou & stay safe on your's & Sir Jah's travels. Kind regards from Adelaide, South Australia.
Absolutely love general stores. So much fun seeing toys and stuff from childhood. Still have a few toys that survived from my childhood. One thing I noticed on one of the top shelves was an old fashioned ice cream maker. We used to have one. We had a lot of good stuff to play with growing up. Thank you Jordan for sharing this with us and putting a big smile on my face. God bless you
Best general store. Love visiting it when in Natchitoches. (Knack-a-tish) It’s such a wonderful mixture of vintage and new. Has great character, like so much you see in that town. The creaky stairs are awesome.
Thank you Jordan for yet another good vlog. Hopefully next time you're in Louisiana I will be able to meet up with you and show you some really cool south Louisiana stuff
Hi Jordan. What a great place. So much fun and so many great old toy memories. A lot of nice history in this town. Thanks for sharing this Jordan. Have a great weekend. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎵
Hi Jordan, wow, just like a Museum and store in one. Oh my, that screw size wall with all the compartments just blew my mind, I wouldn't know where to start with those sizes. Some of those old toys took me right back. Great vlog Jordan.
wow, that's amazing that these toys etc. still exist and new as well. like a time machine back to my youth. thank you for the tour. :-) what a great town.
It reminds me of the 5 & 10 store mom use to drag me through. It's cool now but as a child most stores looked alike. I did like Woolworths. TY Jordan. :)
Thank you for this. I loved the walk through this store. I remember so many things from my childhood. My brother had a coffee can full of the green army men. You'll become a "slipper person" when you get older and your feet are cold all the time. LOL. I wish we had more places like this. Please tell me you walked out of the store with something. Thanks again for this. You and Jah travel safe and take care.
Wow! Thanks Mr. Jordan. I'll be 56 in June, lol. I remember playing with those yellow Tonka toys, when I was a kid. Especially the one with the crane. :)
I think I just spent alot of money with my eyes inside this beautiful General Store Jordan🤭 I think it a treasure . Louisiana sure has some interesting history, especially their first Saint with a huge building on top of him had to giggle . Thanks for the amazing journey. 💛👍
I loved that store, I could spend a whole day there! I also could buy a lot of toys and "Treasures" from the past, so neat! That would be worth a trip to Natchitoches in its self! Thanks so much so for the tour.
I just love this video took me back to my childhood I do love old timey general stores thank you for this video all my best love and peace Ramon from Athens Georgia
As someone born and raised here in Natchitoches, I love hearing how visitors pronounce our city’s name. It’s so cute all the different ways they get in wrong, like you are doing. It’s pronounced Nack-a-tish. No disrespect, definitely not a grammar freak, great video. 👍🏻
There use to be an old 5 and 10 cent store I Rice Village, Houston. They had things that I remember from childhood if you couldn’t find it there I couldn’t be found anywhere. After the owner passed his daughters tried to keep the store open but it just wasn’t the same without the original owner. This reminded me of his store, ty for the great vlog😎
I live near there. There's an old legend that says two native American brothers named Natchitoches and Nacogdoches started walking, one to the east and one to the west of the Sabine River. That's how they got the names Natchitoches LA and Nacogdoches TX. Still today, NSU and SFA universities are huge rivals. The city is beautiful in the spring.
That was so Cool great memories of toys love when you go into old buildings & they still have artifacts of way it was thanks Jordan truly enjoyed the vlog
63 years ago Santa got my first tricycle, lil red wagon, cowboy boots, hat, rocking horse, Cap Pistols, holsters, toy soldiers , Tonka trucks and equipment, Daisy BB gun, fishing rod, bow and arrows, .22 bullets, football, baseball, basketball, acoustic guitar, and everything else a little boy from Natchitoches needed to find under the tree on Xmas morning..🍷😎👌
This would be a big dream of mine to own a general store with a soda fountain. I'm thankful to be old enough to remember some from when I was younger before they all closed down.
Really cool store. Fredricksburg, Texas has many cool places like this along with modernized little shops. Great town to visit if you’re ever in Texas Hill Country. Also San Antonio during April for Fiesta celebrations.
I loved this! Especially down in Louisiana, where I used to live. Have you taken in the local cuisines? When the linemen for electrical power were down there after the hurricane, they said those guys most definitely gained weight from all the food that the locals would cook for them! Seeing the Magnalite pots brought back some memories for me! Definitely a very awesome vlog! Loved it!
Jotdan Thanks so much for taking me to places I'd otherwise never see! Your vlogs mske me feel like I'm there I really appreciate that you do this . Stay Safe Bless you..and your Family I hope everyone is doing well Hug Jah for me. From Tammy in PA

Lived in Louisiana. You might want to do another video around Christmas when they do the Natchitoches Christmas lights. It’s a pretty big deal there
