I am just sharing my personal experience with the car. I have been driving an Air GT for two and a half years here in the US. The GT I purchased was fully optioned and is very similar to the Dream Edition other than having only 816hp, which I consider adequate. While the handling is spectacular, as reported everywhere, I have found service, build quality, and reliability to be without fault. Lucid's long range and very comfortable cabin make long journeys quite enjoyable. The Zenith Red color is most pleasing to my eye. I would gladly buy this car again. Good video. You might note that most owners pair the car with their phone and set the car to unlock as you approach and lock again as you walk away. Lucid indicates that the upcoming Gravity SUV will have its own chassis with different suspension, ride height, and battery configuration to make better use of space and suit its use as an SUV.
@@andyb2474 Hi Andy, thank you for watching and for your correction. Well, I attended the official press conference and European launch event in Geneva on Feb 26th, 2024 and talked to the Lucid press staff. The Gravity will be very different from the Air and will have three rows, but much of the technology and underpinnings will be shared with the Air, which is a good thing. I very much look forward to driving the Gravity.
Was it easy to borrow it from a dealership or an industry contact? That rear legroom and the about of light into the cabin is superb. I hope you had it for enough time to really enjoy it!
It's an amazing car in the US used vehicles with low mileage have come down in price considerably and with all that range I wish they gave you an option for a tow hitch I don't see why the vehicle would not be able to tow 4,000 lb I tow with my Audi e-tron a small box trailer for work and as much as I love my Audi if it was capable of having a tow hitch I would definitely look at it as an upgrade with all that comfort and range and updated technology
!!!CORRECTION!!! The Gravity DOESN'T share the same platform and components of the Air. The Gravity is built from the ground up. Lucid decided to create a new platform because they don't want to have any compromise by using the Air's platform. This is an important detail that you got wrong in your review. Otherwise, good review and thanks for bringing attention to Lucid specially to the EU audience.

@@carstenklyhn4501 Hi, inside the vehicle it is very silent, but I also noticed the slight whining noise when watching the video again. Possibly it was generated by the setting of the power output.

Combining the (long) length of a Model S with the absurdity of a model 3 style trunk was really not a good decision. Love the focus on efficiency though.
I would not call a trunk absurd, but I'm older and remember most cars had trunks before the more recent hatchback craze. Barely anyone wanted hatchbacks. That's right, I'm calling a lot of the current cross-overs/small suvs hatchbacks. The car makers just don't want to admit it, so they rebranded them.

Definitely has the 80’s/90’s Buick Reatta vibe. .Great driving car but in my 9 months ownership the software Buggs overshadowed how great the drive was. Also in a hot climate AC needs to be addressed with a better compressor. Overall a solid luxury EV choice

Pound for pound, Lucid makes the best EVs on the market, in my view
Oh, I’m very keen to hear your thoughts on a Lucid! Cool.
Great review! I’ve been following the Lucid Air for a while now and i think I’m ready to pull the trigger and get it.
Get it...best car I ever bought!
@@vickykennel7414Same, by a mile. It's an engineering masterpiece that is a joy to drive at 1/10 or 9/10
Let’s go Lucid.
The best 🥇
The Lucid Gravity does NOT sit on the same platform as the Air. It has a different suspension and battery modules are arranged completely different.

Agree about the towing hitch. I will tell the Lucid Europe team. Maybe they listen! I use the towing hitch for carrying bikes and cargo, very useful!
