For me, it's not so much that control is a illusion, but to put it another way, if you feel you are being controlled, i.e. jail, then truly it is because there is deep programming or childhood traumas that is crying out within you to be acknowledged, healed and released so that you no longer feel "trapped" or "controlled". The outer is truly always a reflection of our inner, whether it's control, or suffering or blessings.
It's a choice because there's a collective agreement to be in the control matrix we are in. As more and more people wake up the control matrix loses its power and there will eventually be no more jails and prisons etc. Additionally, and most importantly, INFANT CIRCUMCISION will be recognized as the most immoral medical procedure and how it has nearly destroyed our society and planet, thus requiring a control matrix to keep people civil. Once it is acknowledged we as a society can begin to heal and the control matrix will begin to dissolve. The ending of circumcision is the beginning of peace.
"When you find yourself unable to get started then, find things you can do, that are easy to do and, that builds Momentum. Don't over-think, don't over-plan, take Action Today" Great video! Peace out
Fear of failing. Be easier if we knew our foot was in the door. You seem like a good person. Anyone should be proud to have you in their life. Thanks for sharing.
When I try to take action I always think in a few hours from now I can either be proud of the action taken and the hours put into it, or I can live with regret knowing I chose the easier path and that the task is still awaiting action.
Starting now I’m going to change my life. I left this video in my watch later playlist as a form of procrastinating my procrastinations. It stops here, now, not tomorrow. I will check back with you as my hard work is rewarded. Thank you.
I dont know if you're gonna see this comment but i'll say what i wanna say anyway. Exactly 2 years ago I was a student that is bad at math, I wasn't stupid or anything , I was underestimating my own potential, setting limits to myself while i didn't even try hard enough, until i had a spark of motivation, i began doing math a LOT, 8hours more or less, I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU, everytime i felt burnt out you had some video for me, and then I go right back to it , I got perfect notes in my high school final exam (bac), and it wasn't even hard because of how high my level was, and you have contributed a lot to that, thank you forever. (I quit a bit after hs and didnt watch much of your vids, but now M BACK) For anyone struggling, if you're here, you're probably on the right track!
I passed my Math ( Calculus Version) with above 65% overall mark in College , your video about some questions being possibly structured wrong and not overreacting helped me analyse better.....3yrs later, I am now about to attain a Bsc IT (Software Engineer) degree, you made a difference in my academic career(some are repeating the module for the 3rd time). From South Africa, enkosi
Over-planner here. My biggest problem is consistency. How to stick to a daily-good-deed not just for 1-2 weeks... but for months and years, or for life? It is so very easy to get distracted in our daily hassle from our originally well thought values, plans, habits, and ...actions. I think we may need some sort of mental-Visor-blinker, like the race-horses have... to stick to even a math book from start-to-finish.... but it is much easier to say :D
Its a request to please post more such videos as some people are stuck in a loop or a rut and these videos are really a kind of breather and it forces one to rethink about their lives..
Most self help videos i watch on TH-cam are higly processed to be engaging and make you feel good. But yours really isn't like that, for me its like listening to a mentor i don't have in real life Your channel is a wonderful resource. Thank you

great advice!! , as my mother says "if you are preocuppied is because you are no occupied enough "
my fear of failing has been holding me back for so long, but i’m genuinely tired of living with my current self. it’s currently 01:47 am and i’ll do my best tomorrow if God wills.
As I was listening to your thoughts on taking action, I realized I could play the drums while I listened in order to make the best of my time. As I played along, I fell into a very strong groove around 120 bpm which seemed to match the cadence of your speech. To my surprise, we never broke once we locked in, so I pulled out the metronome to dial it in even more, and you sir, speak at a steady cadence of 123 BPM. 😂 Had a great time listening to you while taking action toward my dream! 😊 Thank you!!
Thank you so much, sir, for this video. I've been stuck in a safe, decent-paying job, but I always feel like I'm wasting my potential. I'll get on with upskilling instead of overthinking a lot of things. I have renewed my love for studying, and seems like time is in my favor, thanks to this video. ❤❤
Thankyou sir. I remember watching your video titled - it only takes two weeks a year back. I wish I watched more of your videos throughout the year. I am stuck at the same position in terms of career I feel, because I did not keep up with my learning. Interviews scare me, it's the feeling of if I open my mouth and give a wrong answer people who think I am smart, who expect big things from me will be let down. So rather than learning from failure, if it comes, I am running away from learning. I'd rather let people think I am smart and lazy than them thinking I am not as good. Which I know is irrational, failure isn't the end of the world, my professor specifically told me to fail as many interviews as I can fail, just to get into action. I will take two weeks now. It's the last chance!
Great video, I’ve remained steadfast to this approach over the past few years and it’s paid dividends. Some advice from my experience when taking action first: - Avoid the trap of thinking “ I should have planned this better” etc when encountering challenges, this has reverted me to action paralysis at times. - Acknowledge there may be gaps in your knowledge before you start, and that’s ok, learning them is part of your goal don’t “hate” them when you encounter them.
Yes!! 6:30..I had an idea, I did an action..and.it.worked. and I will do it again..and possibly more after that. I did my first eventbrite webinar. I may have found my niche..at least for now. 😌
Thanks a lot, Math Sorcerer (whatever your real name is I don't know), I'm on the right track now. I decided to take a further maths GCSE (British exam when you're 16) because I'm predicted the equivalent of A* in normal maths. On our first mock exam I got 49%, the second lowest I've gotten on anything in 5 years. I saw a video of yours about getting your head down and practicing the questions I can't do (I don't remember exactly), and I aimed for 100%. It's true, if you don't get full marks then you usually end up doing pretty well. I got 72% on our latest mock, which I was over the moon with. One more mock exam before the real thing, and this time I hope to get above 90%. Basically, thanks for inspiring me to get off my anxious arse and practice the hard questions :) Merry Christmas, everyone! (Just corrected some spellings)
Great video!! I am an overthinker and I get stuck on the whole analysis paralysis dilemma... I have stopped thinking and have just started doing. I find that no matter how I am feeling taking action leaves me feeling even just a bit better, and tired (so then I can sleep). Always better than doing nothing and still feelin like poop lol
i really needed this .i failed the last high school year and now i'm doing it all again and i still haven't started but after this video i think i'm gonna take my dreams seriously Thank u so much :)
I needed this. I got in the horrible habit of 'optimizing when and how' (see: excuses) to do things ever since the pandemic. Time to break out of this!
I have been watching your videos all day, trying to get through my last final. This semester has me beaten be up beyond imagination. Thanks for helping me remember what its all about! 🎆
Well, first off all thanks for the inspiration to act! I wanted to share my own motivation, which is; I have a goal right, in my point of view I want to be a dentist and have my own place. I think that even the slightest amount of time that I put to my studies will get me a step closer to my goal. I always try to visually minimalise it. And it makes me feel uncomfortable to like don’t study for a long time. Cause it takes my goal further away from me. I hope that I could explain my self. You can do it!!!
I'm so grateful for the ideas that you share to us disinterestedly. Although... the best way to thank you for your work would be if I applied these suggestions in practice on a daily basis, incorporate them in our lifes.
Thanks for the encouragement. You're videos are seriously inspiring. I love that you've been so consistent. I watched your other super power video and it made me develop a fun plan to go to Mars and build batteries there lol. Dreaming Big is awesome. I was afraid and I am afraid. Thanks again. Keep shining 🌞
This resonates so much, thank you! I'm at this point where I'm realizing it's going to be 'difficult' anyway you go about it, so you might as well take the action on things you want. Also, you remind me of Jeff Bezos. Thanks for the encouragement to action.
I agree, once I gained confidence by doing math and believed that I can actually ace a test, I went from being a C student to an A student. My attitude and hard work changed everything.
Action is closely tied to common sense. Often, we either overdo things or avoid doing them altogether because we assume acting will require something extraordinary. But in reality, it’s the act of doing itself that creates the change. Instead of overthinking, "How can I make it different?" we should simply focus on taking action.
I read on the internet that it takes 21 days of doing something before it becomes a habit. So you only need to push yourself for 21 days to do something for your goal, whatever it is, and after that you're doing it automatically because it has become a habit.
All nice and good ... but really, individual circumstances are much more complex : - For example, some people - like I did - avoid most of the action exactly because they met with too many bad results generated by their actions in the past : This may be due to bad advice, bad upbringing, incomplete or erroneous information ... and find themselves losing to those who had very good advice or mentors or ... whatever other advantages and preparation they received BEFORE THEY TAKE THE NECESSARY ACTION. Even those people make mistakes, but they have this strength : Having the RIGHT TRAINING beforehand, they don't get discouraged when they make mistakes, and their past training is generating new solutions. This is why they CONTINUE to take action.
Thank you for this "random" video because it's been very insightful. I am intrigued by your take on the classes you didn't score high in; they were not a source of regret because you knew you did your best. Evolve or repeat. Control is an illusion. You always have a choice. Thank you so much Math Sorcerer, for like, much you HAVE done… right.🎉
Truth..well said!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🪄🪩✨️

The most effective advice anyone can get. Take action
Exactly! We will grow and learn and adapt through actions. “Failure” is just feedback, it’s not final.

Planning is an interesting topic. Most folks think of "the plan" as some precise work break down structure where each and every activity required is recorded, tracked and ticked off.
This is not a good plan. A good plan is very small and explains how exactly you intend to execute on the goal.
For example, to pass my course I will do at least one hour of mathematics, every day. I will aim to start my session at 6am. On weekends I will do past paper questions, weekdays I will study core materials.
That plan is one paragraph. It is small, actionable and robust to the knocks life gives you.
