Watching this video second time, want to share something. 67 days ago, I started waking up at 4 AM to work uninterrupted until 9 AM, followed by walking my cat and doing my morning routine. I focus again from 2 to 7 PM, then end the day with chores and sleep by 9 PM.
This routine has been challenging but life-changing. As someone with ADHD, I can focus better when the world is quiet. Since January 2024, I’ve been building my brand, aiming to launch on January 1, 2025.
It’s nerve-wracking but fulfilling. As an introvert who often starts but rarely finishes projects, this feels monumental. Sales are secondary-I’ve rediscovered myself and connected deeply with existentialism through this journey.

To be a bit nerdy about it, this has a lot to do with myelin. It’s what powers neural plasticity. Essentially every action you take, no matter how small, increases the fatty sheath that insulates nerve cells. aka it wraps the nerve so it’s easier to do it again and the more you do the easier it gets because it’s getting tuned more each time. The book ‘The Talent Code’ describes it very well if you want to learn about it.
    Your channel is awesome btw

Cleaning is what helped me start making changes. After a week of keeping my room clean and tidy I got used to it. It took one problem out of my mind, I saw another problem, and then I solved that one, and then another, and another, and so on. Also, a clean room gives me a little bit of pride and serves as a kind of momentum that pushes me to make good changes. And this led me to the fact that I am currently learning JavaScript

My first time watching your contents, and something really triggered me-I'd say Distraction is the Imposter that's killing you through manipulating, not a knife not physically but mentality.
I'd experienced game addiction, doomscrolling. Those were always killing my time and sabotage my goals, without me noticing. Best way to get rids of Distractions neither building yourself an immune shield(strengthening discipline, focus) or reducing them like delete the apps and make them harder to achieve/do.
The video's really helpful, wish my paragraph and the video save you.

i always thought there was something wrong about me if i could not beat my habits by fighting my old ways. the truth is the more you avoid something (or try to), the more of it you'll get. then i would notice how easy it would be to do something if i did it absolutely automatically, without even putting any mind to it. now i have a clear reason why! thanks xxx

Yeah, it's so true how we tend to overvalue big steps while undervaluing smaller, consistent ones. Big goals aren't sprints-they're marathons. This perspective really makes the process feel more achievable!

This is very similar to the concept of the inner-evaluator. It's constantly watching you, looking out for your virtues. When you prove to your inner-evaluator through action that you have some virtue, like persistance, generocity, etc, and this is something *admirable,* you feel more satisfied.

Woo great video to put right before new years. New brain activity, new you.
consistency really is da bomb. i used to do the 180 change overnight thing and would end up panicking that im not doing enough and then biting off more than i can chew which will end me in a burnout, all the tiimee. and the burnout would last for months or yearrs crazy. its been like 6 years of that cycle on repeat tsk tsk (bruh i never learn). now im doing stuff in reaaalll reaally small doses. but ive been actually doing more because of it, even on days i dont really feel that well, which is most days. i havea really small habit list (like a shotglass worth)and i dont set a deadline for the habits (deadlines are a killer. man, i dislike the deadlines). maybe when i get even more consistent ill out the habits in a routine. but for now, it doesnt matter what time, as long as i just do it. 10 minute stretching as an excercise, 7 minutes of journaling, doesnt matter when i wake up, just make the bed after it. i started this mini habit list when i still had my bad habits. i decided ill just do my bad habit if the urge is too strong, as long as i finish the mini habit list i made, then ill cnsider it a successful day. and now im 2 weeks in, being consistent with my shotglass habits, and ive rarely been doing my bad habits.
even if my habit list is extremely small, i feel more grounded and present in this reality than feeling like my head is floating around and foggy all the time.
im adding the read 1 page a day to my habit list and adding running as an exercise option now. (i havent gone for a run yet. maybe i should sleep with my whole running fit on. outside. on the running route. actually ill buy a banana to eat in the morning instead. i might just wake up for the banana)
im definitely gonna apply the managing activities depending on energy level thing when i start time blocking my google cal (i remember gettin really tired after studying and just thinking if im too dumb or what lol, but if getting tired is just part of the process, then good for me).
i like having these type of videos play on the background when im doing chores. i get to focus my brain on listening to something useful so i dont get distracted in the middle of my chore. bonus is that your voice is very clear and nice to listen to.
new brain activity, new me lesgoo. with my shotglass lesgooo

Couple of thoughts from personal experience: change is not linear - setbacks are part of growth (I think). Buying expensive gym outfits is part of setting env, I don’t wanna believe otherwise 💅🏼😅 one last: habit vs routine - can be tricky for some - I think! Thanks again 👏🏼

Seems like a great channel. What can I also say is to write down what and how you will do and spen your day night before. This for some reason WORKS really well because you decide and set new instruction for your body and mind to then follow through by consciousness and choice not feelings of the body and how you have used to do things and even be. Creating identity that supports all those actions and goals is also very important.
