- Parani M10 boom by Sena is a budget oriented motorcycle intercom system you can connect upto 4 riders with this Parani M10 system, it also connects to your phone for hands free bluetooth calls and you can also listen to music via the same and I share my experience of using this Parani M10 and how it's the same as a intercom system while you ride a bike.

Surprised with the false marketed range. Really informative review considering that the market for these is not so competitive even though connectivity is much more in many other devices

I'm using ASG 02 budget Bluetooth headset to listen to music and answer call while riding , it's excellent for the price of 2k
And best part is it's hidden and no one can know that I've a Bluetooth headset inside my helmet
This I mostly got for the intercom functionality and had very high expectations as it a product by Sena.... but for the intercom voice quality turned out to be mediocore.... it's not bad but fell far from what I had expectations.
@@GeekyRanjitRidesVlogs even the high end sena have issues like sometimes they don't work properly and hang , even after paying premium price of 35k ~ + if they hang then they're are not useful

I own ASG SG5, which is for about 10k. Even they mention a range of 1km but only usable range for it is about 300-400m. But I didn't find any distortion incase of range below 200m. It's been over more than a year I am using it and it can connect upto 10 devices. Also it can connect with intercoms of other devices but again it is hit and miss
I've been using Parani for about an year...and I don't know what was wrong with the unit Ranjit used.... I've been able to talk to connected riders even when I was not able to see them on single highways....much more than 300-400m.
Music quality is not all that great since there's no Bass at all.

@@TheSharkMohanty The most disappointing thing I read through reviews on Sena 5S is that although it can connect to 3 other riders but...you can only talk to one rider at a time... basically no conference...for 12k approx that's a huge bummer.
My Parani @6k can connect to 4 other riders and we all can talk in conference mode.
ASG SG5 can connect to double the users and be in conference mode...it costs 10k though.

Guys as a query why not use the usual voice chat VoIP platforms?
Is is due to latency ? Since data is relatively cheaper nowadays and Bluetooth one ear head sets are cheap too.
Why rely on RF intercoms with limited range and participants?
When you are riding to remote area.... there wont be any cellular signal thus need to use these.

The technology is not backed my Sena. Only the Service and Customer support is backed by Sena.
I have been using this from last 4 months and it has been working seamlessly. I'm very much satisfied with the product.

Parani has launched two more models A10 & A20. Not available in India yet.
I had the same issues. I suggest you to once update the software and try reconnecting. It worked for me . Even for like 400m there isn’t any disturbance at all

Recently i purchased this sena parani m10. my previous intercom was vimoto v6...i tired to compare the call quality of vimoto and sena...to my surprise vimoto was much better than sena...now i am bit confused...
I feel using older nokia phones that can fit inside your helmet 3310 like will be a much cheaper wnd reliable implementation. Need to do some jugad here 😅

1. After long term use, would you recommend it? Did your opinion change about it?
2. I will be doing long rides with my wife as pillion. Since both would be wearing full gear including full face helmets, i am thinking about getting either Bluetooth headsets designed for helmets or intercoms for both of us to communicate while riding. Now what would you suggest; Should we go for an intercom system or should we just get a pair of bluetooth headsets and communicate through phone calls?

Go for helmet intercom system than bluetooth headsets. Intercom speakers sit outside your ears, hence you are not cut-off from the outside world. Mic will sit behind you helmet chin which blocks the wind, hence no wind noise will come.

What's the first service interval?
May be one of the device battery must be low🔋. Thats why you are getting distortion. Me and my friend using it from last 6 months and voice quality wise 500-700 mrts there is no problem smooth as butter.

Hey why don't u try the Sena
i am using freedconn tmax, they claim 1km range, but in real life i get only around 100-150 metre range while i am riding at 80-90kmph, after tht my intercom get disconnected, i thought senna would be good, but now iam seeing tht senna is shit too
Parani m10 not water proof, can’t use in rain , my device damaged, Parani rejected warranty
I believe this will work, hope this accepted as normal BT headphones, In presence of Network (mobile data) many people can talk in a simple discord voice chnl.

I was planning to get the Parani M10, but now I won't. If the device can't do the main job it was made for then its totally not worth.
