panalpina bradford that takes me back some
Remember Webb Bros from their earlier years when I was at school. Always used to see their breakdown trucks running about Waltham Abbey from their Upshire yard. In those early years some were mostly dark colours, later some seen in blue, including an F88 wrecker.
Thank you Keith 😊 🙏 for sharing your memories with us all.
Two classic trucks think the Scania just edges it for me
Me too, We had F12's at Chepstow after our DAF 85's were replaced, but in between we had Scania rental units which i thought were better, not only in performance, but comfort too.
For me it would be volvo f12 globetrotter now better cab for European work in my apinon
Of all the motor's I drove, the F88, 290 was my favourite, Volvo got everything just right .
As people say, I wish I still had it. The wide grill made it look perfect, a few motors are "good looking" that was one along with the mark5 mandator, Atkinson borderer and Mickey mouse foden.
Thank you Peter for comment
Rode shotgun with my uncle in f88 when I was a lad, 30 years of trucking later still remember that it fondly ❤
