Getting into AUM and the huge audio plugin ecosystem available to jam with it and some bluetooth speakers in the park. If you want to run a bunch of effects and a few instances of demanding software synthesizers in parallel without hiccups, the overpowered M2 in my iPad actually starts to make some sense for a change 😂 Now that is not that unusual as there is a whole community obsessed with iOS music making, but it is still a niche.
Sorry noob here hihihi whats that ‘free board app” you mentioned on the drag and drop from safari? Really like this video! Loads of things i didnt knew was possible.
Using iPad 9th gen from one years for watching Netflix TH-cam ; for gaming like fifa pubg new state dream cricket 24 Pokémon unit etc for notes making and keeping pdfs also for drawing using fresco …battery is great ….sometimes in games it jitters a bit not much good performance totally satisfied
I wouldn’t say that I’m doing any specific unusual, but nevertheless it’s a great travel companion whilst out for business traveling, best ever I’ve had so far, and it’s still rock solid 👍
100%. It's the only iPad that's guaranteed to fit on one of those narrow airplane fold down tables and also keep a drink on without fear of disaster unfolding.
I dont like the mini, its too expensive for its size. I already have the basic ipad 10 but would like something a bit smaller but more rogh and resistant. A bigger ipad between the mini and the 10 would be great and with at least 1 tb internal storage or that could be connected to an external HD and read music and movie files from it.
Interesting. Aside from the Ultra Watch range, Apple don’t really do rugged do they? Lots of pilots seem to use the Mini so there’d be a big audience for this type of thing. iPad Ultra? Could work…!
What’s the most unusual thing you’ve done with an iPad (Mini or otherwise?)?
Mixtape cover art…and a whole ass digital booklet to accompany it.
Yep! [ticks unusual box]

The iPad is my favorite tech of all time.
Are you upgrading to any of the new models?
I’ve used the iPad to iPhone charging thing on a 2 hour train commute home.
That’s impressive. Whilst using the iPad too?
Love these! I forget about the background noise that is built in. I also love using Freeform for ideas.
Thanks John, yep Freeform is one of my favourite Apple apps these days!

No problem buddy - thanks! The app is called Freeform - it's free to download on any Apple device and syncs across them all using iCloud.

The noise and freeform tips were very useful, thank you!
You’re welcome!
Background Sounds is also a feature in iPhones, I’ve been using for over a year as white noise for sleeping 👍
Nice!
The white noise part made me subscribe. Good job!
Thanks buddy- welcome!
Great video mark!
Thanks buddy 🙌🏻
why the background sound, dunno, but interesting!
The music or sound effects? Either way, just my vibe mate!

What skin/case is that on your iPad mini?
It’s by dbrand - called ‘Swarm’. It’s nice eh? Adds a nice bit of texture and grip.
I think they'll wait til WWDC to announce anything AI.
Yep I think so. I’ll be really interested to see what what Siri 2.0 looks like. Especially after seeing OpenAI’s announcements today.
