Nice job Tim! I think your spot on with the manifold installation in regards to letting the gasket sealer sit for one hour before torquing the studs down in the final stage. I bet that may have very well been your vacuum issue beforehand. I also agree with your comment on some of these shops discarding this step for time constraint reasons. Unfortunately the consumer suffers in these cases. Very well done and nice video! 👍🏻
Thank you! I think it might've been the main problem, too. It really does drive better now and even cooler by about 5 degrees. Still some tweaking to do with the timing and carb but I'm happy!
Sorry that the video freezes at the 25 minute mark. Not sure what happened there, but I cannot fix it at this point. It was just me putting the carb onto the manifold and tightening it down.
