@Alistar D in case your wondering goblins did exist in yggrasil outside of the horn. My guess is their was a questline you could do to improve relations but since it was hidden no one found it... or if they did it was kept secret.
She also has the ability called "Command" that she can use on her summons (i think its a way to control their movement instantly )she used it when the goblin troops were fighting the wolf (i think its called Barghest)
I'm under the impression that because the commander class was very uncommon in Yggdrasil, Ainz (& his guild) lacked knowledge about its class abilities & bonuses coupled with the fact that some classes from the game maxed out at 5-10 the buffs for each level would be powerful, allowed her to maximize the numbers gained; IF this train of thought is accurate then imagine what numbers she could gain with a few more levels...
My theory of how she conjured the great goblin army. Three conditions, First, at least two of the following sub classes leveled to at least level 2. Sergeant, commander and general. Having use the goblin horn once and leveling the goblin troopers at least one level. Use another goblin horn at the middle of battle. Once this conditions are fulfilled the goblin great army will appear as "Reinforcements" for the great "goblin general" All of these is to prove that the user is a proper general by leveling his level and keeping the troopers alive while leveling them up, only then the reinforcements will arrive.
Mmm... just thinking did the numbers of goblin army (5000) connected to the invasion army and it’s also 5000? If so why are the goblins are higher tier compared to the enemy army if it’s connected? Sry for bad eng.
Most seemingky forgotten to point out that Enri also helped a young Goblin from another tribe. This could have been a big factor as welll since Enri also gained the trust of another Goblin tribeoutside of the ones she summoned. This could have also a factor bolstering Enri's reputation for the Goblin race so strong she was able to summon a larger Goblin army.
My favorite part is foreshadowing. When the goblin strategist talks to enri he mentions something along the lines of "This is five thousand of the goblin army" Basically, it implies that this is not the ENTIRE army, just a segment of it. Which further implies that as enri levels up and gains more experience, along with whatever other factors are involved, she might be able to use a third horn and summon an even larger, and higher level force. Archmages, high priests, champions, whatever. And what I also like is the strategic power enri has now. Even if the horn never levels up again, if ainz needs an army, he can give her another horn and she can summon it when needed, meaning no need to equip, feed, and march an army to whatever location, just transport her and let her summon them then BLAM, a kingdom destroying army appears out of nowhere. Imagine that, ainz sneaks her into some vital enemy held area, she blows the horn and suddenly the enemy is overwhelmed by a high level army appearing right inside their stronghold without warning. Good thing she is so devoted and loyal to ainz.
The goblin army is so strong they got drummers to play music while they battle this is the true secret of the goblins real strength. I doubt ains would have kept the horn because he have multiple of them and they were trash items that only summon low lvl goblins compared to the normal summon by Ains
those where level 43 redcaps summoned by ainz..... enri's army is strong but its not top 3 here's the list 1. Ainz Army (duh) 2. Aura's Army w/ dragons and beasts (less plentiful more powerful) 3. Demiurge Army w/ demon relic and demon relic beta and demonic generals and captains (plentiful and powerful) (2 and 3 are also apart of 1) OVERLORD
@@thedungeoneer33 "2 and 3 are part of 1" i know the anime doesnt really get into it but some of the guardians have armies of their own "its not like ainz sends his whole army for every little thing. and not all their armies are overpowered like shalltear's army isnt in the top 5 armies
Yeah, even in the light novel it's said that it is a big problem. But enri, nfiria and jugem found an answer to that (with a little help from Ainz). Carne Village, in volume 12 (right now, anime is in volume 9), is now almost a city. With humans, dwarfs, goblins, orcs and even lizard men living there.
They can't hunt TOO much because then they will decimate the local animal populations and next hunting season there wouldn't be anything to hunt. But yeah. 5000 mouths means they have a lot of options. Ainz and the Goblin Strat can figure it out.
I think food supply is no problem here. Carne village is primarily a farming village. So they can just simple expand the land area and allocate more hands into farming labor and all should be good. Not to mention Enri's alliance with Big Daddy Bones.
Eins was astonished when Enri ended up summoning 5k goblins, I believe he stated something like, the flavor text didn't list that type of behavior for the item. Here's my theory...due to Enri's caring nature and treating the goblins as equals instead of slaves for the long period she has had them, this maxed her reputation with goblins, so when the horn was used, instead of a meager effect she got a maximized effect, thus the 5k goblin army was born. If true, that makes Overlord's world all the more interesting, the flavor text cannot be ruled as absolute, if conditions are met, changes can occur.
Its kinda crazy how Ainz has spread out his OP servants. Like Lupidregina hanging out there an you KNOW sge's a beast. Love her sadistic side, now Demiurge is in the Empire, pissed the Emperor off bc he has control humans with his voice. Now Enri just became a major player in the new world.
In the light novels it's been revealed that there were 3 requirements to the horn of the goblin general to summon the goblin army, which is the THIRD strongest army atm, but what those 3 requirements are were never revealed. So this is a theory vid. As for army strengths? The strongest is Nazarak's army, the second strongest is the empire's army, and the goblin army is the third strongest.
I think the biggest requirement is to have a high enough reputation with the goblin faction. Many Mmorpgs have a faction reputation system. Ffxiv specifically gas a faction system centered around the beast tribes.
I don't disagree, I was just pointing out that NOTHING is confirmed on what the requirements actually are, and any "explanations" are just guesses. But that's not the real question with the Goblin Army anyways.. . No, the REAL question... How the hell will Enri manage to house and feed all 5000 Goblins?
Even just a book series itd kick so much ass. Like if the light novels flashed over to it once per volume or every few volumes id love to see the development
Well we know Enri , used goblins in battle (leveled them up?), had them around for quite a while, saved what would in game terms be an npc goblin, healed an npc goblin (if Nfirea doing that counted), replaced the goblins starting gear and had 2 levels in general (which seems to relate to horn of the goblin general). I assume the requirements are related to using the horns goblin summons, and having general classes. Thematically all of those seem like things that would be what a game programmer would do, as the alternative is making it basically unrelated.

Because the item is called the “Horn of the Goblin General” I think of Ainz gave her even more horns when she needs them she can summon even larger armies since I think this is only one of the Goblin General’s armies.
This also highlights ainzs strength as to items he could give away without a thought created a world superpower imagine if he handed a higher teir horn to enri it would be glorious
i have a theory on how Enri got a whole army full of multiple types of goblin at least ten (excluding the first batch) well according to the explanation of the item Ains gave during episode 11s3. the item summons a few low lvl goblin. i assume from that is what ever the lvl of the user is it summons a small or large army's worth according to the lvl of the user. in terms if the user were to be low then i makes sense that the first batch would be a small amount, but if the user were to be at idk close or more than Ain's lvl then it would be a lot larger due to the standards of low for his lvl. what i can deduce is Enri has leveled up a large amount for her class(villager i assume) to a point where she could summon that many of that high lvl. place of where Enri could have possibly leveled up is during S2 and defiantly season 3 just passively hard. with the level ups in S2 it was her training with her fellow villagers with the goblins as their coaches. in season 3 it was mostly from that large fight in ep5S3 where she gain lots EXP from the large enemies because she had a hand in the fight. in conclusion the way she got her large army of goblins was due to her newly aqured level of probably lvl 70 or 60.
While not directly explained/stated, i think it is quite given what the requirements are. 1) Level of Command: Ever since Enri summoned her first goblin troop, it has been quite a long time and so she unconsciously leveled up her command abilities by designating the troops on various works needed to be done in the village. 2) Level of Threat: I think the Horn of the Goblin General corresponds its summons on how much of a threat is the enemy and they have to be the aggressors to be able to perform the summon. Remember that the prince have an army of 5000 and so the horn gave Enri the exact same amount or so. 3) Level of Loyalty/Bond: We know how much loyal the goblins are to Enri but Enri took care of her troop like her own family and so she gained the utmost respect of the goblins. This is just my observation though from what I have read and watched. Also, Ainz probably has no idea because it is stated that players of Ygdrassil does not easily share every information they find about the items or even the game itself. That is why it is of much importance to their guild to get as much information as they can.
I largely agree except the numbers being the same because they weren't the prince *Started with 5000 troops* but many had been killed aginst the goblins and ogers already summoned before Enri blew the horn so the horn gave her 5000 goblins when she was facing a enemey force of something like 4532 because the Goblins and Ogres while few in number were more powerful than the average Kingdom Levey, the goblins had top quality gear, perfect party setup Healer, rangers, wizards etc, They were also on the defensive and had ogers on their side, while also being supported by present archers and most likely pikemen. also keep in mind the force set to fight Enris troops was the normal soldiers the elites were kept back to protect the prince. EDIT: also it should be noted that the Red caps by themselves could have slaughtered that enemy army.... they actually could have kill Aniz's Deathknight force that he brought with him.... not like he has more of those right.....
@@irontemplar6222 The aggro did start with 5000 though. They have been reduced but when the prince ordered to attack them, that is exactly the point where one of the requirements has been met. They have 5000. So in return, the horn gave Enri a force equal to of that or more than that. That is what I meant with that condition. Enri and her village are too little in number in comparison to the original numbers of the attacker which is 5000.
@@shuunosukesato4379 no the aggro started 4750 the kingdom scouts wernt back yet. And besides that was confirmed to not be one of the conditions. Enri has fulfilled them even though it's not been revealed what they are. Its confirmed that if she ever uses another goblin general horn it will summon the same composition 5000 strong army
@@irontemplar6222 it is still counted though. The total number of the Empire force that attacked them is 5000 whether they are present on the battlefield or not. The total number is still about 5000. It is pretty much clear.
has 12 level 43 gobos (the red caps) when one level 35 death knight is a big deal. what the actual shit. that makes that a top tier army. their are probably less than 100 level 40+ non tomb people in this world and now Enri owns TWELVE OF THEM.
Horn of the Goblin General, so Enri has become the goblin general, like flavor texts in log horizon, probably a few requirements to summon 5000 goblins, 1- train the current troops u have, 2 - equip them with better armor and weapon, 3rd- one of them must acquire a magical weapon. 4 - have a spare horn to summon the 5000.
I clicked on this video because I thought I'd get a solid explanation as to the hidden requirement for the horn, not what everyone already knows from the anime.
In previous chapter it showed how she was getting strong body and soul so she got the leadership talent so when she used the item it was different from a village girl now she is a leader so the item reacted to her expirience.
So, I think that levels in Sergeant, Commander, and General, change the type of goblins summoned, while her standing in the Goblin Faction - raised by being friendly with the goblins first summoned - determines the number of the goblins summoned. So, having levels as a General got her heavy infantry, heavy and light cavalry, assassins, mages, a red cap, and an adviser, but her faction standing brought out a total of 5000 strong.
dint lupin spoil she had something to do with all the golbins showing up? when she attacked the prince she said she couldnt help but throw her own voice behind her but she never expected that many to show up.
In yggdrasil, each player was obsessed with their own individual progress as well as designing 1 or 2 NPCs of rivaling power to serve them. In the game, Quality was far more impactful than Quantity. More troops can win the day, but normally against someone of the pleaides or floor guardians, no army can stand against them. Still, in the New World, being able to recruit armies to your banner has far more impact than leveling yourself up. Even the mid-level casters in this universe serve a kingdom or a cause, because teamwork is the true power in anime. By the time a fight gets up to the major characters of Overlord, they have no chance in winning in a one on one, and Ainz can drop 70,000 soldiers with a single spell, but who knows how powerful Enri will become eventually. Good thing she works for Ainz.
I like Enri's character quite a bit because of that! She is a true leader because, not only she cares but she understands what should be done in order to coexist and cooperate better than anyone in Carne village. I'm looking forward to what Ainz and Overlord as a whole has prepared for this brave young woman and her friends, as well as for the whole crew at the great tomb of Nazarick!
I totally laughed at the scene with the army appearing and Aniz's reaction! I wonder how Enri will handle this unexpected army going forwards, thou conquering is out of the question but what will happen next, will these Goblins turn the village into a town for any creatures to come and live peacefully, I wonder, still, I found it really funny to see that army turn up, I expected just a couple of Goblins but not a whole army worth!
This army of goblins can stand a bone in the throat Lord Ains, because his last experiment was noticed by Nfire Bareare, he noticed that the trolls are undead and probably know who is behind this attack.
Something that no one mentioned. At the end of the episode, Regina said that she "raised her voice behind Emmy" and was surprised at the number of goblins that came forth. When Enui blew the horn the tone was soft at first, then it became MUCH louder. I wonder if Regina's voice supplemented Enui's horn blow which caused the large number and enhancement of the goblin army. Just a thought.
Lupus raised her voice AFTER Enri's "huh?! or eh?!" (she also said "huh?!/eh?!") because she's also surprised at the amount of goblins that turn up. That's why the camera view shifted BEHIND Enri because she's guarding them.
3 requirements were met. It's from the LN..... no one knows what the requirements are though as it was never stated. But the prince declared his attack and rolled a 1, Enri got a Nat 20 on her defense roll and another Nat 20 on tooting her horn. And thats why we love overlord
By reading comments below, what makes the Goblin army too strong with only 5000 units? Empire and Kingdom have hundred of thousand soldiers and still at the lower end of the list?
Each goblin was probably around level 10-15 (which is most likely higher than most foot soldiers) and the 13 redcaps are all level 40 which makes them stronger than a death knight. A single death knight could destroy an entire country
I like to think other non-summoned goblins saw and thought this was a goblin friendly town and that most of the goblins now are voluntary recruits from nearby areas! Its more impressive that way. They are obeying her cause she's Awesome not cause of magic! The rest was just good timing ^.^
@@lordmech Yup, although it wouldn't be smart to just give them out like candy. Instead, two more to Enri so she'll always have at least one for emergencies and two more each of a handful of people loyal to him to test put various possible reasons for the increased effectiveness (loyalty to goblins, time item has spent in the world, level of desperation/need, size of opposing army, etc.)
Ainz THOUGHT the horns were useless. Because in the game version, the horns have a high drop rate and a low summoning count. That's why he was so surprised of what Enri did. Yggdrasil is a game where not too many players know the mechanics of (even Ainz himself). If he have only known the hidden mechanics of the horn themselves, he wouldn't have given it to her in the first place.
Totes agree with you you even see it in their expressions at time she gained the respect of them properly that’s why when she summoned them I was overly happy to see the zhuge liang look’a’like that was some brilliant writing 👌🏽
With that action she could become one of the greatest threat or asset to Nazarik If she got a few years or even months commanding that army she would still level up and if she was given another horn it would summon another maybe bigger army
Am i the only one that heard in the anime Lupusregina say she added her voice to Enri's summon of the goblin army?? So wouldnt that mean Lupusregina was the one that powered up the summon??
@@WulfLotus its towards the end. Its when Lupusregina approached the prince. The 2 lines that led me to that conclusion were the goblin army being a bit unfair. But when when she saw saw the situation she had to lend her voice behind Enni's. Which i took as she augment the power of the horn
@@taylovehall no she said that meaning she couldnt help but raise her voice in excitement when a massive army appeared out of nowhere and slaughtered the princes troops. The goblin army had nothing to do with ainz or lupus. It was because of Enris specific levels and the situation in which they were summoned.
The light novel explains why the second horn... the translation I read was every horn has a chance to do this but it's very rare and almost impossible chance.. or special conditions.. or its a very rare variant of a common trash drop item. At least that was how it was explained in the book.. no spoilers but "you ain't seen nothing yet". All I can say is 4th season better be approved because this will end with one hell of a show.
I would say Enri possesses some sort of absolute command skill, which can be seen in S3E01 one in big bad wolf encounter and next episode with when facing trolls. This might be one of pre-requisites for horn. Also not sure if npc know they are npc or summons, for them they are as real as other living beings.
I feel like Ainz would have been able to do this though, because as a guild leader, I'm pretty sure Ainz would have a commander level that is decently high, or at least level 2... lol
*You made a mistake. The prince went to village per the King's orders, for the simple purpose to get intel on Ainz. As well as the reason you already mentioned, to keep the Prince from Battle. In turn protecting the line to the throne. He never planned to attack the village. Only to use it as hostage, to force Ainz to surrender. He only decided to attack after being attacked. A retaliatory move caused by his provocation. An attack that lead to a one-sided battle, that could've been avoided all together. Had the simple minded Prince simply stated his purpose for being there in the first place.*
Your right but,i think He planned on forcing them to join his army if not they would be killed as traitors for conspiring against the kingdom. Knowing the fact that Ainz saved the people the prince already made up his mind to hold the the villagers hostage and if it wasn't for the captain of his army who suggested shooting arrows at the view post tower those arrows would have been for the villagers and their houses burning them alive. You could say that the prince should have just announced he was there to talk about their relationship with Ainz but, with that army talking was never apart of the agenda or maybe the prince must travel with about 5k soldiers for protection . If i was Enri i would be thinking their here to wipe us out or use us against Ainz the person who saved the village. Their army alone out numbers the population in the small village that could never house the army even if forced all their food and rations would be gone.

The goblin army is so strong they got drummers to play music while they battle this is the true secret of the goblins real strength.
I doubt ains would have kept the horn because he have multiple of them and they were trash items that only summon low lvl goblins compared to the normal summon by Ains
yea i think he said some where they was just trash drops but i wounder now if he is rethinking that opinion.
Yeah, but then again he's been looking into turning Hamsuke into a warrior. So, the results with Enri shouldn't be too surprising.
those where level 43 redcaps summoned by ainz..... enri's army is strong but its not top 3 here's the list
1. Ainz Army (duh)
2. Aura's Army w/ dragons and beasts (less plentiful more powerful)
3. Demiurge Army w/ demon relic and demon relic beta and demonic generals and captains (plentiful and powerful)
(2 and 3 are also apart of 1) OVERLORD
@@tribaldeity1939 Aura and demiurge as well as their subordinates are part of ainz army.
@@thedungeoneer33 "2 and 3 are part of 1" i know the anime doesnt really get into it but some of the guardians have armies of their own "its not like ainz sends his whole army for every little thing. and not all their armies are overpowered like shalltear's army isnt in the top 5 armies
So nobody's gonna tell him that the goblin army is officially the 3rd strongest army in the game?
I love how you talk about what she’s been thru like your retelling your grandmas story 😂😂
That is a lot of new mouths to feed and house. I'm sure it will be rough for a bit
Well if the goblins do eat everything they could eat the corpses of the 5k troops they killed
Also 5000 pair of hands to help build, farm, ans hunt. So, shouldn't be a huge problem.
Im still amazed at how enri made ainz shocked.. from summoning a troops to summoing the powerful army that wiped out the royal army
Is not a skill...she obviously maxed out her goblin reputation points
Commanding is a skill she level up tho.
And her General level also raised.
@@sov4956 I wasn't being serious apparently their were 3 requirements one being lvl which ains unwittingly power lvled during troll attack
Am I the only one that's curious to know what would happen if the goblin slayer saw Enris army
Hed probably be swinging his big and hard sword around
Reap & tear until its done
And thus the gates of hell were opened.
He would be killed if he tried to fight them
HOLY SHIT. Goblin Slayer is medieval DOOM GUY!
In season 3 her summoning the 5000 goblin army is my favorite scene compared to ainz wiping an hole army
In the light novels it's been revealed that there were 3 requirements to the horn of the goblin general to summon the goblin army, which is the THIRD strongest army atm, but what those 3 requirements are were never revealed. So this is a theory vid.
As for army strengths? The strongest is Nazarak's army, the second strongest is the empire's army, and the goblin army is the third strongest.
yea blow a horn for about 10 seconds and get the 3rd largest army in a country.......seems legit. :-)
I think the biggest requirement is to have a high enough reputation with the goblin faction. Many Mmorpgs have a faction reputation system. Ffxiv specifically gas a faction system centered around the beast tribes.
Dem redhats are godtier
@@keiichimorisato98 yeah and other games also have reputation systems also. Wow comes to mind as one also
I don't disagree, I was just pointing out that NOTHING is confirmed on what the requirements actually are, and any "explanations" are just guesses.
But that's not the real question with the Goblin Army anyways.. . No, the REAL question... How the hell will Enri manage to house and feed all 5000 Goblins?
Enri is a General, not just a Commander though.
correction she is the Honorable General Enri
You people KEEP forgetting the most important requirement.
*MUSCLES*. >:D
K now I just Want a show centered on carne village lol that's my fav part of overlord since the beginning
That would be a great spin off show that i would watch.

If I ever win the lottery, I know exactly what I'm gonna do...
Because the item is called the “Horn of the Goblin General” I think of Ainz gave her even more horns when she needs them she can summon even larger armies since I think this is only one of the Goblin General’s armies.
This also highlights ainzs strength as to items he could give away without a thought created a world superpower imagine if he handed a higher teir horn to enri it would be glorious
i have a theory on how Enri got a whole army full of multiple types of goblin at least ten (excluding the first batch)
well according to the explanation of the item Ains gave during episode 11s3. the item summons a few low lvl goblin.
i assume from that is what ever the lvl of the user is it summons a small or large army's worth according to the lvl of the user. in terms if the user were to be low then i makes sense that the first batch would be a small amount, but if the user were to be at idk close or more than Ain's lvl then it would be a lot larger due to the standards of low for his lvl. what i can deduce is Enri has leveled up a large amount for her class(villager i assume) to a point where she could summon that many of that high lvl.
place of where Enri could have possibly leveled up is during S2 and defiantly season 3 just passively hard. with the level ups in S2 it was her training with her fellow villagers with the goblins as their coaches. in season 3 it was mostly from that large fight in ep5S3 where she gain lots EXP from the large enemies because she had a hand in the fight. in conclusion the way she got her large army of goblins was due to her newly aqured level of probably lvl 70 or 60.
Pasting enri’s face onto the cover of overlord was just so fitting in this case
If you notice in the episode she also casts light in a brief moment I think.. so I think she gained a couple levels in spell casting.
It is pretty much clear.

has 12 level 43 gobos (the red caps)
when one level 35 death knight is a big deal. what the actual shit.
that makes that a top tier army. their are probably less than 100 level 40+ non tomb people in this world and now Enri owns TWELVE OF THEM.
Carne village now more like Carne kingdom.
It's a dependency of the Sorcerous Kindom.
ECS Stormbringer doesn't sound right to me
Perhaps , but that's the way i perceive the events as a gamer. Emotional nonsense doesn't affect items in a game.
I clicked on this video because I thought I'd get a solid explanation as to the hidden requirement for the horn, not what everyone already knows from the anime.
shout out from Zimbabwe in southern Africa dude

Fun fact : In romanian the word " carne " means " meat " so basically Carne Village is Meat Village .
Same in spanish
Latin?
In previous chapter it showed how she was getting strong body and soul so she got the leadership talent so when she used the item it was different from a village girl now she is a leader so the item reacted to her expirience.
The red goblins is stronger than a death knight and of course 1 death knight can wipe out a city, Gen. Enri have -a more than a squad- 13 of them.
13 of them
@coldlizard 2 are u sure? wasn't it mentioned that she is one of the 13 redcaps in enry's command??
@coldlizard 2 let me know if u find out anything thanks in advance
It is 13 according to Overlord wiki
they call them self bodyguards of enri so most like it they are there to ensure she lives
She fulfilled the conditions to unlock the secret Class unlocks none of the Ygdrassil Players could
For some reason your title reminded me of that Ugandan Knuckles Meme when those guys say “You are the commander now”.
He is de commanda now
They should dub them with Ugandan knuckles in abridged series
i thought she conjured so many because lupusregina added her voice to the summon without enri knowing
The power of the horn probably unlocked because every goblin there wished to protect wifu. So other Goblins of culture joined in to protect her.
dint lupin spoil she had something to do with all the golbins showing up? when she attacked the prince she said she couldnt help but throw her own voice behind her but she never expected that many to show up.
Volume 14: Chapter 4 (Part 10) is translated ^^
wow nice video man you got the skills keep it up and you will rise up real fast
i like ur thoughts on that episode overall nice video
I like Enri's character quite a bit because of that! She is a true leader because, not only she cares but she understands what should be done in order to coexist and cooperate better than anyone in Carne village. I'm looking forward to what Ainz and Overlord as a whole has prepared for this brave young woman and her friends, as well as for the whole crew at the great tomb of Nazarick!
dont forget lupusregina back her up and didnt realize how many would show
I totally laughed at the scene with the army appearing and Aniz's reaction!
Obviously Enri is the HERO!
Ah yes, goblin lord. Kill them all goblin. Go, goblin slayer.

She's the goblin lord that serves the overlord.
Just a thought.
i also thought about tht. plus theres a moment where the leader of the goblin tells her to do something else with the horn before using it
No one knows, not even the author
Lupus raised her voice AFTER Enri's "huh?! or eh?!" (she also said "huh?!/eh?!") because she's also surprised at the amount of goblins that turn up. That's why the camera view shifted BEHIND Enri because she's guarding them.
+Alejandro Guzman what could it be hmmm... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
3 requirements were met. It's from the LN..... no one knows what the requirements are though as it was never stated. But the prince declared his attack and rolled a 1, Enri got a Nat 20 on her defense roll and another Nat 20 on tooting her horn. And thats why we love overlord
if he says crane village one more time...bang zoom right to the moon
By reading comments below, what makes the Goblin army too strong with only 5000 units?
Empire and Kingdom have hundred of thousand soldiers and still at the lower end of the list?
Each goblin was probably around level 10-15 (which is most likely higher than most foot soldiers) and the 13 redcaps are all level 40 which makes them stronger than a death knight. A single death knight could destroy an entire country
@@thedungeoneer33 Woah now I know... that Redcap for sure is scary now. Thank you!
Yeah Redcaps are no joke. Enri is now in control of one of the most powerful militaries in the new world.
I like to think other non-summoned goblins saw and thought this was a goblin friendly town and that most of the goblins now are voluntary recruits from nearby areas! Its more impressive that way. They are obeying her cause she's Awesome not cause of magic! The rest was just good timing ^.^

Ainz has a lot of horns. So much so, he gave it to enri because it was worthless to him.
and now i wounder if he is rethinking just giving them away like candy now? or maybe giving her a few more a sees what happens :-)
@@lordmech
Yup, although it wouldn't be smart to just give them out like candy.
If he have only known the hidden mechanics of the horn themselves, he wouldn't have given it to her in the first place.
any attempt to atk ains sama in this anime from anyone will fck that someone up really good lol
Totes agree with you you even see it in their expressions at time she gained the respect of them properly that’s why when she summoned them I was overly happy to see the zhuge liang look’a’like that was some brilliant writing 👌🏽
With that action she could become one of the greatest threat or asset to Nazarik
If she got a few years or even months commanding that army she would still level up and if she was given another horn it would summon another maybe bigger army
nah she is still way below nazarick's level of strength, one of the maids could probably take that army down.
Enri has a S rank sex drive, Nferea had to resort to potions just to keep up.
I hope we can see Enri again this season.
Am i the only one that heard in the anime Lupusregina say she added her voice to Enri's summon of the goblin army?? So wouldnt that mean Lupusregina was the one that powered up the summon??
aundrae_b if that’s true I missed that part I’ll have to rewatch the ep.
I think the next challenge would be feeding these troops. Finding housing for them. If they invade another place do they just kill everybody there?
To me these “goblins” are actually good
The light novel explains why the second horn... the translation I read was every horn has a chance to do this but it's very rare and almost impossible chance.. or special conditions.. or its a very rare variant of a common trash drop item. At least that was how it was explained in the book.. no spoilers but "you ain't seen nothing yet". All I can say is 4th season better be approved because this will end with one hell of a show.
Goblin Army is the 3rd strongest army. 1st is Ains's and 2nd is the Kingdoms (combined)
I would say Enri possesses some sort of absolute command skill, which can be seen in S3E01 one in big bad wolf encounter and next episode with when facing trolls. This might be one of pre-requisites for horn. Also not sure if npc know they are npc or summons, for them they are as real as other living beings.
I feel like Ainz would have been able to do this though, because as a guild leader, I'm pretty sure Ainz would have a commander level that is decently high, or at least level 2... lol
He wasn't in in-game he is max out he might gain it by new world rules
All hail to Enri the Bloody
1:08 Nice guns there Enri
Their army alone out numbers the population in the small village that could never house the army even if forced all their food and rations would be gone.
so the goblins like pokemons, it's the depends on how Enri rise them, then they can digivolved like digimon
She is General Enry The Bloody!!!
Lol i couldnt help but laugh as the different forces of the army were revealing themselves
So basically Enri’s Charisma stats are high and she got levels in commander, and those were the requirements.
Wouldn’t Ainz be able to do the same considering how he treats the guardians, and others as well? Hell, he could probably summon a 1000000 goblin army
The three conditions for summoning the goblin army aren't known yet, but Reddit has a few ideas ... www.reddit.com/r/overlord/comments/9h7i2h/the_horn_of_the_goblin_general_and_the_three/ + www.reddit.com/r/overlord/comments/9h0227/goblin_horn_condition_theories/
The goblin slayer is going to have a field day
*DID YOU JUST SAY "CRANE"?*
Only my theory okay so I think that "social status or rank" can affect an magic item depending on what it is and like Enri before she wasn't a chief she only summoned the "weak" goblins like the lower ranked and when she became the chief of the village she summoned the "Goblin army" so that's my theory anyways (ps I kinda did hesitate to comment this because of peoples self-opinion.) thats all
There's just one thing. How is this small village going to feed this army of 5000. If I were Enri, I would have them take on mercenary work.
I hope it will be addressed in the next episode but how will a village that can baerly feed itself feed another 5000?
The Goblins will take care of that
you want to know how Hmmmm....ok this is how it is called an army of 5000 showing up and saying we want food what village is going to say no.
I still think its the same thing as the mguffin demiurge was going to use. I mean honestly, I bet there's an allegiance buff where she inherits traits from others. IE, Demiurges power of word.
JUST HOW WILL SHE FEED THEM??!
So.. Enri can ask Ainz for more horns and summon more OP goblins?
There's conditions to the army. No guarantee that the next one would summon another army. Might just summon the same kind of troop she got before
pls remember about angle army well did anyone remember that angle grup in s1
The goblin army is the 3rd strongest one in the new world second only to the empire (according to the light novel)
