I’m from Houston and the fan talk in my neighborhood was stroud and Richardson were the best picks ppl would talk about there size and strong stance in the pocket and arm.
As a Texans fan, I'm so glad the Texans didn't put any stock in the S2 test results and just went with their gut. Considering Stroud is clearly the best quarterback in a division that also has Levy and Richardson (two quarterback the media "experts" said was a safer bet)

Stroud is an absolute monster and we will forever thank whoever leaked the S2 score and forever thank him for attending Ohio State where QBs “never” translate to nfl caliber when coming into the league. Stroud is an amazing person and a damn good Qb. He might not ever be too 2-3 but will consistently have the Texans in the mix for a Championship and I’ll forever be thankful! Signed A Texans Fan!

As a Texans fan just watching this scared me as I didn't want Young😢. Yes, i know we got him, but this video haunted me 😂. Who knows if Carolina does well by CJ. Coach Reich was a good QB coach so probably would have. But a lot of College QBs dont go to teams that fit their styles or they go to teams that don't adjust for them and try to mold them into something they aren't.
I always felt with Young, the issue wasn't his size or that the Panthers would fail him. The issue was more that he declared for the draft after his sophomore year, which to be honest isn't ideal for anyone to go as a quarterback (i.e Johnny Manziel). I think if he had stayed one more year at Alabama, he probably would've been more NFL ready I felt.
He was a redshirt sophomore which means a junior in college or his 3rd year, same as CJ. You can’t declare for the draft until you’re 3 years removed from high school!
This what is life, a door closes but a windows opens. I was upset that we won over the Colts...but l am eating crow now, and l am happy CJ came to re-emergies Htown. The draft is luck that is all you can have all the machines and data, but at the end who can perform in the big stage😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
