My buddy had a modded 92 RS. He used to let me drive it an also learned how to drive a stick on it as well. That car was stupid loud and stupid fun to drive especially when it rained lol. I told him if you ever get rid of it i will buy it. No the fucker traded it in for a fucking pathetic Chrysler Sebring 😂😂😂. I loved that body style too one of the best for sure.
This car is already a masterpiece without the final edition package. Proud to own a ZL1 with a 6speed trans, it´s just great! Somehow the ZL1 catches more like the Z06 despite having the same engine!

Granted, it still wasn't able to beat the Mustang or the Challenger, but with no meaningful changes since 2019 and zero marketing or engineering effort on GM's part, the outcome wasn't unexpected.

This 6th gen, is indeed a tough act to follow, Chevy certainly wont walk away from this segment and leave it to the others, and it certainly wont just abandon the Camaro.
They already did in late 2018 when they disbanded the Camaro team and assigned the chief engineer to the Hummer EV project, all that followed was just loosely orchestrated abandonment in a long stretch towards the final production day. If they now come up with an SUV and name it "Camaro", it won't count, the same way the Mach-E "Mustang" doesn't. GM still has the Corvette for the segment, we'll see how long that commitment will last.
Agreed on the ev suv, that cannot be a new Camaro, and I am certain that something like that wont happen. They will not abandon the Camaro, and there will be eventually an all new 7th generation. But it looks like there will be a transition period without a Camaro between the end of the 6th and the coming of the all new one. @@arpadmiklos7339

Well, we have plenty to choose from. They may be done, but they're not going to just vanish at the end of 2024. There are a lot out there and you don't need to spend $60,000 to enjoy your ride, but of course many of us think we "earned" it. The EV storm is here, but I honestly don't see gas going anywhere.
