As a Brit, I can say that looks lovely and I have subscribed to your channel! However, just a little advice: you definitely want the fat for your Yorkshire puddings to sizzle when you pour the batter into your tray. I heat my chosen fat for ten minutes in the oven before putting the batter in and it makes a huge difference to how much the Yorkshire rises.
Excellent tip. If you preheat the oil and it still isn't hot enough, put the muffin tin on the large cooker burner until the oil shimmers and you can see a small amount of smoke. Turn off the heat then pour the batter in quickly and put the muffin pan in the preheated oven. Cook the rest of the way as recommended.
I’m chronically ill and I’ve been really sick lately and haven’t had any sort of an appetite but seeing this actually made me hungry. I live in the states and wouldn’t even know where to get something like this. And I’m far too ill to try to make it myself. Guess I’ll have to settle for watching the video instead. Thank you for sharing your amazing work. It looks delicious.
@@ms.ladylight3209 thank you. I just spent the last week in the hospital. Out of the last 8 weeks I’ve spent 6 of them in the hospital. I really appreciate any prayers, well wishes, good vibes or anything else. Thank you again.

Wow im impressed as a fellow brit! Looks delicious and id agree with some comments i use lard fat and heat it in the oven for 10 minutes you want the batter to start cooking as soon as it hits the fat.....crank up the oven and do not let anyone open that oven door or they die! 😂
As an English person… that looks great! Tip on the cauliflower cheese! Looked a touch runny… so I often let in drain in a colander for an extended time, sometimes even overnight because it releases sooo much water. Deffo made my cauliflower cheese more creamy :) - hope that helps
English born chic here tip use beef dripping or goose fat for the perfect roasty potatoes ever&sprinkle of sea salt over them to😋im a roast potatoes snob😅youve done amazing it looks lush my tummys rumbling now🤤love it with some spring greens&runner beans🤤let the yorky pud fat get to smoking hot then pour batter in just watch your arms getting spat at with fat makes them perfect 👌🏻
@@AlissaSss23 I don't buy beef bones. I keep bones from joints of meat and pieces of cow foot in the freezer and I make stock when I have enough of them. Ditto with chicken stock. I keep roast chicken carcasses and chicken backbones and necks in the freezer. I also freeze vegetable scraps and herbs for vegetable stock.
My Dads favourite dinner, , he used work 3pm to11pm in dublin Airport . My Mam would prepare it earlier for him and heat every evening, id sneek downstairs and blag some roast potatoes late at night.
I made popovers once before they were pretty good. I made roast today with collard and mustard greens and sweet candy yams and mashed potatoes and gravy and I start cooking it in the morning but the night before is a great idea. I’m gonna make Yorkshire pudding again. Great video.
You can follow every step but substitute a seasoned chicken for the beef roast and cook it according to size. Also make the chicken or vegetable stock the day before. If you want stuffing, cook it in the chicken or I prefer to cook it separately in a muffin tin.
All i can think of is that video of a girl saying "A sunday roast" in the most british accent ever, and then someone says "A jam rolly polly" and i am left confused
Just dropping in a little tip. Goose fat for the roasties gets them the crispest, wait until they have completely cooled down and add to a hot oil pan, baste and turn the potato’s at least 3 times in the oven until golden brown all over
Looks good you paced yourself not a crazy amount of food gluttony I'd enjoy cooking and eating sometimes growing up my dad over did holiday dinners. I'd prefer a meal like this some leftovers not gluttony
Why did I come here thinking you made a whole meal in one minute 💀
😂
Right
Becuase the title says “in one minute”
She had to have known ppl would think that and not in a minute video. Great way to get views.
@@desiree5895when will I ever see a video without any haters, it's a grammar mistake no one cares.

It didn’t take you one minute 😂 it looks lovely but label videos accurately
😂😂😂 As a non Brit, I noticed that as well! Also she didn't parboil the carrots, they don't look cooked at the end
@tiahnnayasmine670 it's simply lying 😂😂😂 thirst trap
Watching that beef stock jiggle like a jolly elf was nice!
My god. This looks incredible
Right

An Englishman here and I can tell you that you’ve done a brilliant job! Looks amazing well done
Agreed!
Indeed!
Put oil in oven for 7 mins till piping. The batter should sizzle as you put in tin.
Omg that cauliflower looks so good!
yes!!
Because it’s smothered in cheese 🥱
@@CocoBaarbie224 I’m lactose intolerant. What’s a way to make it taste good without the cheese.

For the yorkies and roast suds use either beef dripping or goose fat they come out DELICIOUSSSSSS!

Only the Midwest calls them a "popover" 😂
Awesome Edit ! Delicious food ! Love and respect from Egypt ❤
As a British person I applaud the cauliflower cheese!!
Killer roast. Definitely subbed. Need to learn more of this.

Might sound weird but you should try and add oxo beef cube to the roast potatoes, it’s delicious

Lovely! But heat the oil first before you pour the batter in for the yorkies. 😉
Everything on that plate looks PERFECTTTT
Coming from a professional chef I say: Excellent work. I watched your videos, I love your Middle Eastern dishes. 👏🏼😉
For the yorkies. Heat the grease to smoke point. Then add batter. The yorkies will be huge!
This is in my top 5 of last meals to eat. A good ole Brit roast
That beef stock is a thing of beauty! I always make my own stock. It tastes so much better than the stuff that is available in the supermarket.
I would never afford to buy those bones, now they cost £4-5/ kg and they barely have anything on them

You should try roasting your potatoes in goose or duck fat, can't be beaten!
I think her being muslim it's harder to get halal versions. So she probably opted for ghee and avocado oil.
@TifBo she could make her own beef dropping from halal beef, that would be delicious too!

I wish ingredients weren't so expensive right now! I'd love to see some budget friendly meals at this level. Maybe some chicken drumsticks?
"1 minute meal!" ..."Now start the day before" 😂😂😂😂
She's explaining it in a minute because it's a TH-cam short, not that the recipe takes a minute irl...
Niya has a clear as day picture of how she could end up and it's like she's walking right into it.
