Furina isn’t my type of character(her personality is not my type, but she grew on me a little ) but I like how they do with the archon so far. I feel like they kinda show how the archon run and how people view them. Venti is neglect but his people still kinda love him. Zhongli is bit more involve(until he quit) and his people respect him alot. And raiden is more of a dictatorship where people fear and some worship her. Nahida was a weak ruler ( make sense since she born they took advantage of her) maybe similar to young emperor who has an evil Chancellor calling the shot. And her people just disrespect or ignore her. And furina u can tell she more of an idol. People love her but not really as rulee(in my opinion) My fav archon. So far is nahida and zhongli. My least is probably raiden(not sure about furina yet) i dislike raiden cause all the harm she did to her people.
Dont think venti "neglects" his people but more so neglect the role of ruling his people He is still really active in patrolling around mondstadt(maybe cuz its his only choice of living or booze) and safeguarding the place(as shown on genshin manga and the archon quest itself)
Venti isn’t neglecting shit, he literally took down a dragon, helped take down the anarchy of Eula’s family and keep Mondstadt free and peaceful. While I respect Zhongli for his trust in his people to let them take control over him controlling them

I do think it is important to point out that he is not malicious towards her. He seems to respect her as the archon considering that he tries to reassure the traveler that Furina is seriously contemplating the prophecy. But he is also extremely old and Furina is probably a child to him so he treats her as one

I argue the opposite. The archons we've seen so far have been the most flawed characters in the game. Their flaws literally kickstart each conflict in the story. Furina's behaviour definitely fits with what we've seen with the previous archons.
People are praising Neuvillette's VA here and while he is amazing i got to give it to Furina's VA, when she was asked what happened to Oratrice that panic and scared voice is so good and the quick switch up to putting on a mask like we can tell if she's being genuine or not by her voice and that really deserves a hard clap.

If Neuvilette is really a prime Hydro Dragon, you need someone in the level of God (so far only 2nd generation God able to beat them). So far only top 3 Harbinger considered equal to God. They probably aren't human any longer or never to begin with, the point they really master foul mode. These guys still apple to apple, not straight superior to the prime dragons, and possibly even still inferior. It's just hypothesis though, so I won't say he can't do it, but probably he need many years, it's easily to say, Neuvilette is just way stronger than him, or else Hoyo need to give Childe plot armour to beat him or getting stronger somehow. Not to mention Childe still failed to beat traveller. The same traveller who need archon help to fight "potential" prime dragon that was nerfed or just "part of them".
If I'm honest, I thought he'd be so serious and cold too, but I suppose he lives up to that in "work mode" as judge. Outside of that... it feels weirdly wrong to say, but he's rather sweet?
As adorable as Furina is, my respect for her as a leader and an Archon diminishes with every scene of her I watch. Edit: I suspected I would eat my words one day; I didn't think it would come after only 2 patches. Take a well-earned rest, my dear little actress.
That's the thing though. She has no practical power, only influence, and so she just sits and watches. The only reason she prosecuted Lyney's trial was to have a duel with the Traveller. That's what I love about her, she's just a regular girl and even the people of Fontaine treat her like a mascot rather than a god

Yeah Furina is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters and is now my favorite archon. She’s like if Fischl actually had power and authority and is hilariously delusional 💀

It is possible that Monsieur Neuvillette is indeed the Hydro Dragon, since according to legends, when the Hydro Dragon is sad, it rains. Plus the fact that when Callas was killed, rain started to pour. When the traveler visited the archives of the Chief Justice, he was scolded, and when they went outside, the rain started to pour. The sadness of the dragon cannot be hidden by the expression given by the raindrops.
Personally i pity Furina, and I half expect Neuvillette does too. It seems like she is constantly putting on an act to maintain her place in fontaine. Her people already dont revere her as a deity. She probably struggled to gain what populrity she does have when Fontaine lost its original archon. Now she is forced to constantly put on a show, and you can see how much pressure that puts on her. When the oratrice does someting weird and everyone looks to her for answers she doesn't have, her voice sounds truly desperate before she finds a way to save face. I think she's shaping up to have a surprisingly well written arc in the future.
On a different note, I wonder what kind of history they have together. Based on some of the Melusine lore, I think Neuvillette appeared in fontaine around a similar time as Furina. If you believe Neuvillette is the hydro sovereign, then he and Furina likely had a lot in common and may have mutually supported one another. Perhaps Furina even contributed to Neuvillette's dedication to justice. I can't wait to get their full backstories revealed.

I actually think that this "act" of hers is actually hidding a very insecure person underneath. I feel that she is going to break down by some point in the story, and it's going to be very sad to see.
Hate comments are the greatest praise for a villain's actor. In the same time, it's still hurt. Spoiler: Furina managed to trick a long live dragon as well as the Prophecy passed down from Heavenly Principles for 500 years... that was really a crazy feast for an actress.

I argue the opposite. The archons we've seen so far have been the most flawed characters in the game. Their flaws literally kickstart each conflict in the story. Furina's behaviour definitely fits with what we've seen with the previous archons.

People are praising Neuvillette's VA here and while he is amazing i got to give it to Furina's VA, when she was asked what happened to Oratrice that panic and scared voice is so good and the quick switch up to putting on a mask like we can tell if she's being genuine or not by her voice and that really deserves a hard clap.
Her English one is the best one imo of all her other languages it’s just perfect?? The part where she screams “stop staring at me!” Was crazy
Her VA really went all out.
Furina as a character is annoying and bratty but MAN the voice sells her so well.

If Neuvilette is really a prime Hydro Dragon, you need someone in the level of God (so far only 2nd generation God able to beat them). So far only top 3 Harbinger considered equal to God. They probably aren't human any longer or never to begin with, the point they really master foul mode. These guys still apple to apple, not straight superior to the prime dragons, and possibly even still inferior.
It's just hypothesis though, so I won't say he can't do it, but probably he need many years, it's easily to say, Neuvilette is just way stronger than him, or else Hoyo need to give Childe plot armour to beat him or getting stronger somehow.
Not to mention Childe still failed to beat traveller. The same traveller who need archon help to fight "potential" prime dragon that was nerfed or just "part of them".

If I'm honest, I thought he'd be so serious and cold too, but I suppose he lives up to that in "work mode" as judge. Outside of that... it feels weirdly wrong to say, but he's rather sweet?
As adorable as Furina is, my respect for her as a leader and an Archon diminishes with every scene of her I watch.

That's the thing though. She has no practical power, only influence, and so she just sits and watches. The only reason she prosecuted Lyney's trial was to have a duel with the Traveller. That's what I love about her, she's just a regular girl and even the people of Fontaine treat her like a mascot rather than a god
We should wait till her full story comes out though, it saddens me how quick people are to judge here without knowing absolutely nothing about her.

It is possible that Monsieur Neuvillette is indeed the Hydro Dragon, since according to legends, when the Hydro Dragon is sad, it rains. Plus the fact that when Callas was killed, rain started to pour. When the traveler visited the archives of the Chief Justice, he was scolded, and when they went outside, the rain started to pour. The sadness of the dragon cannot be hidden by the expression given by the raindrops.
He also refers to people as "humans" as if he isn't one.

Neuvilette scolding a god like she’s a misbehaving child is not something so knew I needed, but I’m here for it.
Personally i pity Furina, and I half expect Neuvillette does too. It seems like she is constantly putting on an act to maintain her place in fontaine. Her people already dont revere her as a deity. She probably struggled to gain what populrity she does have when Fontaine lost its original archon. Now she is forced to constantly put on a show, and you can see how much pressure that puts on her. When the oratrice does someting weird and everyone looks to her for answers she doesn't have, her voice sounds truly desperate before she finds a way to save face. I think she's shaping up to have a surprisingly well written arc in the future.
On a different note, I wonder what kind of history they have together. Based on some of the Melusine lore, I think Neuvillette appeared in fontaine around a similar time as Furina. If you believe Neuvillette is the hydro sovereign, then he and Furina likely had a lot in common and may have mutually supported one another. Perhaps Furina even contributed to Neuvillette's dedication to justice. I can't wait to get their full backstories revealed.
