@anthonycollazo6148 but when it was raining and we met him, he wasn't crying he was just sad. If it's raining, it doesn't mean he's crying but just sad. He has emotions, but he can't express them as he said, so I don't think he cried.
Now this is drama. I like Fontaine already because the characters have great personality. Plus, I can feel Navia's emotions doing her best to prevent her father doing the Trial by Combat.

even if he doesnt literally have the power to control the rain (which he does, its all but confirmed), its still a clever shorthand for Neuvillette to emote through the weather. He obviously feels horrible about his inaction, but cant/wont do anything about it
In term of emotion he not feel it But in term of logical and human phylosophy, he actually know there is something wrong with the outcome of his decision, and he know this outcome is bad

Tbh it just makes sense that he is the hydro dragon like why would the archon of hydro alow some pearson to speak to her like that unless that said pearson is the hydro dragon
He also talks alot about not understanding "Human Emotion". Only Gods and Immortal beings talk like that. We know that Guizhong,Zhongli,Xiao, and Makoto have been fascinated by Human Emotions. Also i dont think he is the Water Dragon himself but rather a descendant of the water dragon just like how Candace is the descendant of Deshret. We also know that Demigods can use the powers of their parents from Candace's case who can call upon and seize sandstorms at command which makes this theory even more likely
This is the first time I've seen a character with flowing tears in a normal scene. Ofc nahida did cry but that was in a cinematic cutscene. Yesss!!❤
Navia carry archon story
Navia Eng VA never disappoints in crying scenes, in my opinion out of all nations fontaine VA are exceptional
Yeah in fontaine they were beyond give thier all
Look at paimon, just casually floating and bobbing around, so cute! Makes me wanna squish her fr!❤😂
Dont squish her too hard
The hydro nation really is the nation of tears, huh? First Furina, now Navia?
Hoyoverse better be learning from how they improved on Fontaine since Sumeru so that Natlan's Archon-quest will also have it's moments to shine.
I feel like her va actually started crying
Poor Neuvi...
Hydro dragon hydro dragon, plz don't cry 😭😭
when I saw navia's expression of hesitating to talk to Neuvilette, I know right at that moment that I'm gonna love shipping those two. and as the story went on until their last interaction, I was convinced that oh yes, they are my new ship. I felt like I'm watching a romantic victorian esque story with their interactions. you know neuv having that suave calm voice (EN voice) and being the darcy-like male lead who is stoic and navia being the expressive FL.😍 Thank you sooooo much genshin. 😍
You have a point *starts shipping too*
You know what? I'm gonna shipping them harder. xD
Oho... Alrighty, count me in.
Same here, I somehow see these two as if they came out from a Jane Austin novel 🥰✨❤️
@@paulinadirecto3376 hopin in a few days or weeks I get to read some fanfict / a03 of these two over the internet. 😍
The rain is the tears shed by the dragon
Navia... I myself lost my eldest sister😢 now all i have is 1 and 4 step brothers its not nice...
I hope she won't be like Dehya, great character, sub-par kit.
I think my eyes will turn into water falls someday 🥲
I’m not gonna lie though but everytime I see a Fontaine character cry, it just broke my heart
I rly want more interactions between both of them for some rsn...it gives kdrama male lead and female lead vibes
Same bro...
Same.
Navia is the first character to actually have tears animated, no?
Nahida first
I hate Genshin's cutscenes and dialogue for being long, boring, stale, unskippable and dragged out. This the first story quest I actually enjoyed and WANTED to drag out!
man...
God this was hard to see for me
....This was the only time she I think traveller was wrong about rain.
The ost is so sad 😭
Imagine if bro started drinking his water
PREACH NAVIA PREACHHHHH
My poor little otter 🥲
I see a ship building
@@Z-FishInMyBreakfast as long as there was even a glimpse of looking at each, the Passive Skill "Instant Ship" activates
@@Z-FishInMyBreakfastwhy we can't ship them😂😂 people already ship navia and clorinde when their screen time is shorter than navia x neuvillete
@@WatcherOnTH-cam I ship them because you can clearly see how navia and her father made neuvillete more emotional and more like a human, don't be so harsh on them just because their a straight couple😅
@@Z-FishInMyBreakfast well this and the other scenes, their literally paralalling Bronya and Seele
@@colourless2843 don't get me wrong i understand, I meant in general of any ship, Navia x Neuvy I get because history and no one bats an eye but Jean x Candance and everyone loses their mind
Well done tears in a video game are underrated. Remember Mass Effect 2? Remember how trash the tears looked and how they didn't even try that again in 3?
Nooo, nevvy.. poor buddy
I nderstand both 😭😭😭
I ship
wait on the transcript at 1:32 it says laughter omg 😭
no way-
HOLY SHIT IT DOES-
@@hotarutheidiot FR IM SOBBING

lol traveller's name is ryne(yu) meaning rain
Am I the only one who wants to shipp them? :) Or maybe it was just that the scene was so emotional)
she's so taylor swift
Does anyone know the music in the background that is playing is called?
Pluie sur la Ville.
I've been associating that song with Neuvillette's story quest because it's used to such greater effect there.
