The part about the skies being fake keeps being referenced throughout the story. Before Sun and Moon says the Primordial One made the skies out of his eggshell. Dottore says to Nahida that the skies are fake. But the other parts are not. Like the true nature of the stars, which is still a bit of a mystery.
Bit of music theory here but Hoyo tends to use EDM for creatures or beings that come from outside of Teyvat. Eg. the enemy you fight halfway through the narwhale boss has some very strong EDM going on. Arlecchino contains EDM in all her themes which could really reinforce your theory about her being a reborn moon sister, assuming they aren't native to Teyvat.

I'ma just assume for now that their world got destroyed. I think in one traveler character story, it said something that they thought Teyvat would be a nice place to stay for a while( I don't remember what it exactly said), but imagine that traveler just went on a vacay to teyvat but it turned into a whole story plot. If this is true, it would be kinda like penacony on how the astral express came to penacony for a vacation but it turned out to be the most tragic story ever.

With all the events happening in Genshin and all the old lore that have resurfaced, I’m starting to think that The Tsaritsa herself is Khaenri’ahn. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that The Harbingers have connections to Khaenri’ah and the Abyss and that their strongest members have powers that rivals even the Gods/Archon themselves. I’m also pretty sure that “Project: Stuzha” started when The Tsaritsa “changed” 500 hundred years ago. Venti even confirms in the Mondstadt Archon quest that she suddenly cut ties with him and had changed. Remember Dainsleif’s voiceline for the Snezhnayan chapter in the preview? *”She is a god with no love left for her people, nor do they have any left for her.” Her followers hope only to be on her side when the day of her rebellion against the divine comes at last”* She has no love left for her (Snezhnayan) people because what happened to Khaenri’ah. That the Tsaritsa has endless love for her people. Childe says she is a gentle soul who basically has a hard shell but is soft inside. So probably the real story will be a bit more complicated than a tyrant heartless b!tch and her frightened subjects praying for the moment when they can ditch her... But yes, her being khaenri'ahn would make sense...

I don't remember who, but one of the other YT Genshin theorists pointed out that Pierro was shocked to see her because she's a DESCENDANT of the Chrimson Moon Dynasty. (I haven't gotten that far in her friendship level to unlock that yet, so I don't know for myself how true this is.) If this IS true, maybe you're still right about her being artificial or resurrected but maybe not in the way or for the reasons you think. Think about it. Pierro told her to read Perinheri, telling her that it's accurate to her situation. Whoever took her to the orphanage knew this story. They made sure that she followed the same path because whoever the real Perenheri turned out to be, they wanted her to follow that same path.

I’m still convinced that Teyvat is a Bubble Universe that fell from the Imaginary Tree, and is currently corroding in the Sea of Quanta. Maybe this other world mentioned a few times in another bubble universe, overlapping with Teyvat’s, similar to one of the storylines in Honkai Impact.

Yeah it always struck me as odd that Aether said that they were traveling for a new home/place to live but then Lumine said that home was just where they were together? I did see another theory about them actually not arriving to Tevayt together but Aether was looking for her. Although the siblings look on the younger side, it’s implied that they are older than they look and while some people joke that they are too young the drink, others have either given them drinks or it’s suggested that they have drunk alcohol. From the opening image it doesn’t look like from then to now either sibling aged (500+ years later) so why would Lumine be in an orphanage? It does seem like either that is a fake/artificial Lumine and Khaenriah had some sort of wishing, creating or summoning technology or that this whole game is in some simulation like the matrix/Hoyo’s first game

I don't think Traveler will ever have their own power, untill they will regain their previous powers. They're catalysts, which absorb powers of this world, like a sponge, and more closer to dragons in this term.
For me, I think there will be a time skip of some sort. It seems like since Traveler and various other characters that are similar to the traveler's height still are growing into thier bodies and getting stronger as the story progresses. Plus I think Traveler's true power resides in the Gnosis, which could be regained if they actually touched them once.
I’m not even that surprised that traveller isn’t as strong as they seem at first glance. I mean think about it, they had help fighting Dvalin from Jean, Diluc and Venti, had help fighting Osial from Ninnguang, the adeptus and the Qixing, had help fighting Raiden from the wills of others and Miko and then again had help fighting Scaramouche from Nahida. Almost all the significant battles so far (apart from Childe and Signora, the weaker ones of the harbingers, and a few domain bosses) have been successful due to Archons or important characters, they haven’t actually defeated that many significant foes completely on their own. It’s something I’ve noticed for a while now and I’m glad people are beginning to realise it thanks to Arlecchino.
@@manporo5865 Their durability is nothing to sneeze at though. The Khaenri'ah-killing sustainer, with the power of 7 of the Authorities, STILL could not kill us. Given what Albedo said, we're likely scouts more than fighters, you wouldn't send your best warriors off to some random goofy ah world.

The traveler on their own hasn’t really beaten that many bosses. They had help with all but Childe, Signora and a few Abyss heralds and lectors. Venti helped vs Dvalin, the Adepti lent their power in Liyue, Zhongli helped vs Azhdiha, all the visions helped vs Raiden, etc.
Even in Childe's case, traveller was already struggling to deal with Childe's delusion form and we might not have even won the fight if it wasn't for the foul legacy taking a toll on his body.
well we know traveler suck right now, but we also know his power are still sealed by the "unknown god" And most likely he will suck till the game is finished and we will only see him getting back his power in cutscene, not playable.
Imagine how stupid it would be to perceive as stronger something that in practice is smacked every week? I know Genshin is insanely illogical from perspective of power comparisons but giving people ability to wipe floor with Arlecchino and then pushing forever idea that she is stronger would be even more ridiculous (you can't give people more direct contradiction). I think that many enemies were stronger than Traveler but only for a while until we figured out how to beat them as bosses - this is what connects us as players with the evolution of Traveler. We shouldn't assume that Traveler is not getting stronger - I think that whole journey is a progress including power but from perspective of writing story it will be acknowledged in proper time...

She's probably an outlander(edit: sorry Khaenrian noble half-blood). She's also sort of a Fontainian. Teyvat is a continent of a planet, it can't have two planets. A possibly better way to word it is that Genshin has two planets, as Genshin is the story, while Teyvat's the land on a planet.
She might not be an outlander because if she did she would have any mention of Wanderer but she doesn’t have any voice lines or any interactions regarding him even thing they would’ve been partners for years
I don't think Arlechino is a moon Goddess reborn, she is simple a surviver of that bloodline, is not like her Powers are unique to her they are specificly said to be drived from her bloodline so is safe to assume that thoses of the crismon moon blood also had this, and the think about fate, well khanri'ah seems to allways try to resist the control of celestia a.k.a fate so make sense that the rulers had powers that defy fate
I agree that Dottore may want to use Arlecchino’s flames to burn away the old world and in order to do this I believe that Dottore will set Irminsul on fire since those flames can burn away memories. Maybe the fatui want to bring back a previous iteration of teyvat perhaps when one of the Khaenri’ahn dynasties was at its golden age. Arlecchino may have done some foreshadowing when she said that when you lose your memories you revert to a younger form of yourself. I believe this was in context to Clervie but it could hold true to Irminsul as well.
Well if the abyss is an entire teyvat flipped then we've got a lot of adventuring to do people :) We know though that khaenriah was under attack from "things" outside the world and had huge combat prowess to do that. They had technology to peek into these other worlds in the eclipse dynasty at least. So khaenriah was like the border country taking all the attacks of the aggressors, which sort of makes khaenriah heroes , not villains. We know they were fighting abyssal entities near the cataclysm invocation.
Based on Nahida‘s words, there is a huge gab between the first three harbingers and the fourth, to the point that 1, 2 and 3 are in the realm of gods. The traveler right now is not even fit to be Capitano‘s punching bag. Edit: Wow, hard to believe people ignore the words "based on". Nahida said "The top-ranked Fatui Harbingers, up to No. 3, possess power comparable to that of gods." In Asian stories, gods (or as they are also classified: Immortals) have a huge gap between them and normal humans / being which are usually classified as mortals. Even the most powerful mortals cannot even touch a hair on an immortals body and are nothing more than ants. Arlecchino did just that against the traveler, but is not among the top 3. If you want to see her words differently, you are free to do that, I have my view based on the fact that as stories progress, characters an MC encounters usually only get stronger.
Nahida only mentioned the comparison of the top 3's strength which is comparable to that of a god, she didn't say that rank 4 is far below 3, besides, Arlecchino views Columbina as a unique and funny harbringer instead a threat unlike Scara who views her as a threat.

We're in the part of the story where the hero gets destroyed by the enemy and willl feel doubt and anguish, but then he will overcome this struggle and rise to the challenge. Idk why everyone is like "hurr durr the traveler will get bodied by Capitano", if traveller and Capitano ever do fight you can be sure he'll be much stronger because the plot demands it. "Hurr durr Ichigo/Naruto/Itadori will get bodied by Aizen/Orochimaru/Mahito" but fast forward a couple arcs and they all won against their nemesis. Arlecchino was so Powerful that the Traveler Froze in terror seemingly, Not even against the Riden shouguns Legendarily Lethal Muso No Hito Tachi Did he Freeze, this means that she wasnt only Just Stronger then the Traveler But So Much Stronger then the Traveler that her Releasing her power had enough pressure to Paralyse Us and we cant even be fully sure if she was Going all Out.

I'm not sure if this can be used as a reliable analogy due to the caveats. The traveler did feel hazy when leaving the Shogun's palace, which was definitely due to her power being released / activated / being around, but it was purely due to the raw power "in the air" in the real world. At the same time when he "froze in terror" against Arlecchino, he was looking in her eye, and was seemingly teleported into some other plane, where some strings were holding him in place. So While I agree that this was the first time the traveler seemed to be afraid, I don't think the "freezing" was comparable, as it was shown to be some kind of direct binding, likely connected to Arlecchino's special powers. Also why I mentioned the traveler looking into her eye is because I think she has a line somewhere about not advising to look into her eye, because we'd not like what we see. That does sound like there are some sketchy things going on with her eye, which I don't think can be compared to raw power. It's possible that there is some kind of primal negative feeling or fear itself "lurking behind her eyes", which could be similar to a simple Genjutsu from Naruto, where it's not about power, but rather a paralyzing and/or emotional aspect. It's also possible that it is about power, but not directly Arlecchino's current power level, but rather the full potential of her power's origin

Geenshin give player everything but lore feats.. all we get is 10 minute cool quest, the rest is shitty side quests with zero meaning and importance related to the story. Look at fountain.. literally nothing happened till now that its relevant to the story, aside maybe neuvillette getting back his powers and skirk. 1 year.. for literally 30 minutes of main quest lore lol. its embarrassing if you ask me..

I'm about to blow your mind. in Honkai Impact 3rd there is a place that does this. Salt Snow Holy City The land of the living, and Country of Iron Sand the Land of the Souls/Dead. 2 worlds completely different but also connected. People lived in the Salt Snow Holy city and when they die they went to Country of Iron Sand and hope to later get reincarnated to go back. This wasn't naturally done but Created by strong entity that Combined these 2 worlds that slowly started to erode and destroy them for energy.
12:35 something similar happened in hi3 btw.kiana after becoming the herscher of finality and taking control over all of the honkai on the earth, the earth started rejecting her new existence, so she instead flees 2 the moon and stay there until the honkai on the earth is removed entirely. (Its kinda like removing rukkhadevata but the existing withering zones still exist).
That's not what happened; Earth didn't reject her, it was her new found power of Finality that was too dangerous. Finality is in of itself a very POWERFUL aspect of Honkai if not the core. According to lore on the P.E. the Herrscher of Finality was so powerful that normal humans would die instantly when within her proximity without her even trying or even willing it. That's because the very power of Finality is destructive at it's nature. This didn't change when Kiana became the new defacto herrscher of Finality after defeating Kevin. For this reason; Kiana needs to stay in the moon for several years to master her new powers so she can then descend back to the Planet without killing anyone unintentionaly. It was never rejection; It's just the new power is TOO much of an "Anti-Life" font that she needs to master it off-planet first before returning. Only Valkyries, Herrschers and Mantis-Type individuals can stand being near her due to Honkai resistance.
Genshin is getting so good!!!! Great analysis. I think in a way the story has led us to see the Fatui's plan as maybe something not to bad? even though we dont know what they're planning, Celestia seems worst than them. I'm honestly glad that the traveller couldn't win against Arlecchino. I think the story will develop in a way we are not expecting.
So, I've had this sort of thought nagging at me. We know that the traveler canonically gets stronger with each element (and therefore each region). IMO the end game is the traveler conjoining their 7 elemental powers with their original powers, as their OG powers weren't enough (But thats not relevant for now) The point of why I bring this up, is we know 3 things.. 1. Mecha Scara was stated as having the genuine power of a god. We do know not all gods are created equal, but that statement was made regardless. 2. 4 Element traveler was powerful enough to throw hands with Mecha Scara, and while still weaker then Mecha Scara, it doesn't change the fact we were powerful enough to measure up against a bona-fide godlike entity. 3. Nahida stated it was only Harbingers #3 and up who could rival gods. So, why is this important? Well, if you look at Arle's voice lines, she seems reasonably confident in her belief of facing down Dottore if need be. Not just that, she EXPLICITLY states in her story quest that she makes it a point of spreading misinformation or withholding truths about herself, as it furthers her goals. So, again, what is the point? I think that Harbingers #3 and up being godlike isn't quite true. Rather, I think Arle should be included as well. Nahida's information is based on what Irminsul seems to know, BUT if we combine Arle's history of misdirection and subterfuge, and the very heavily implied "Not properly of Teyvat" nature of her powers/self, it may simply be that Irminsul itself was either tricked/didn't have a proper grasp of just how powerful Arle is. Again, the traveler is canonically stronger then in Sumeru were we managed to fight a proper god level being, and while we had Nahida gift us all that knowledge and give us the opportunity in the first place, Nahida herself didn't join in on the fighting, it was all us. So for Arle to not just beat a more powerful traveler, but beat a more powerful traveler who had help WHILE holding back herself... Tl;Dr-> Arle is god level, and Nahida/Irminsul simply has no way of knowing, either through her own attempts at obscuring info about herself, or because of her weird two world motif goin on.
Duality is such a big theme in Genshin more generally, so two planets would honestly make a lot of sense. Like, thinking about the Traveller/Abyss Twin, Ei/Makoto, Rukkha/Nahida, Egeria/Furina etc., and even the light/dark realms in Enkanomiya. I've also seen a theory that Natlan might involve a war of succession between two tribes/siblings... I don't know, twins/pairs come up suspiciously often imo.
Note their Bodily Expressions The Traveler wasn't just overpowered he was Overwhelmed By the sheer pressure of their opponent that they were effectively paralyzed in seemingly fear(Remember that they were confident in expression against both the sustainer and the Raiden Shogun whom Both Beat him in their first Encounters and Both times their was no Fear at Most Shock nothing close to being completely paralyzed

So the two planet theory is a common theme in 3 Hoyoverse games now. Aside from Acheron’s home world in Star Rail, the Salt Snow Holy City in HI3rd-I believe-mirrors the story of Genshin Impact. Those who played HI 1.5 should know what I’m talking about. Or from your description, it’s actually starting to sound more like Langqiu and Oxia’s structure (HI3rd Part 2)

In Honkai Impact 3, there's also one bubble universe where two worlds grew attached to each other due to the first world's inhabitants' desire to see the deceased persons, and the two worlds were collapsing due to their interactions (and something more). I'll be very surprised if this is what's happening in Teyvat 😨

Interesting, Hoyo has experience in making something like this, so I won't be surprised. Btw. First, Genshin has to be a Honkai series, but it is still connected. Teyvat is really similar to Vita's planet arc from Honkai Impact 3rd and some bubble univers from arc before.

There is one more possibility arlecchino is actually more powerful than any harbinger or tsaritsa itself, and in story we know she likes people to have misconceptions about her. She's also confident to turn against tsaritsa if needed without second thought ( child voicelines)

Hebrew native speaker- Teyvat doesn’t mean just ark, it implies that said ark belongs to someone or something (Teyvat noah- Noah’s ark). The word for ark is Teyvah, also meaning chest (like a treasure chest)
Maybe Teyvat is two halves of the same sphere/planet because one half is where the game takes place and the other one is literally the same but where the other sibling is. Like in Noah's ark, the animals going in were male and female of every living creature. Just like the siblings are one of each.
Ultimately, if you receive a Vision, you are entrapped by fate. A'chino has been written into Teyvat's plan. Only a descender who can defy fate will be able to take control of Teyvat & the Abyss. We already know the Abyss and Teyvat are incompatible with each other. It makes sense that Alecchino came from such a world, and so glitches in Teyvat. That she was reborn in the same manner as Catapilar, having a cursed body. It's a fairly normal body, just as long as she doesn't let her emotions erode it away. But she's severed herself from those emotions as she grew up. Hence why Neuvilette can't sense any.
And if I'm correct, Genshin's story writer confirmed in an interview that the Dottore burning Irminsul scene was going to happen in the future. I can tell that genshin's story will be extremely good in the future, seeing how they've started to make it better from Sumeru. I wonder what's going to happen, and right now, there are MANY unanswered questions. I've started to wonder abt where the traveler originally came from, and why are the siblings travelling in the first place??

way better? what do you mean? its like stagnant from 1 year at least.. nothing happen, nothing goes forward. we're going to get some "shocking revelation" with 3 hours of quest. and everything will be rushed and compressed. While we do the other 32463474373 useless side quest with npc we don't even remember the names. And people are BEGGING for a skip button because 99% of the quest are bullshit with horrible lore. The only good part about Genshin story is the main story, and it never goes forward, and when we do get main story quests, are like super short.
While Traveler can't defeat Arlecchino during her story quest, you also forgot that Traveler did NOT use any of his/her elemental powers. During Navia's quest, Traveler used his Geo powers to block the rubbles from harming Poisson, and can also use two(maybe more - currently has 5 elements in his/her disposal) elements simultaneously like during the fight with Childe in the Golden House. So we can safely say that the Traveler also held back during the Arlecchino fight. So as of now, we can't really say how the Traveler will fare against the Fatui.
I think people who are salty about the Traveller(mainly Aether) losing forget that they’re title is the TRAVELLER and often called a “Witness”. Not like “The Warrior/Conqueror” or something similar, so of COURSE they have extreme stamina and durability and not raw strength. It’s literally in their title as essentially intergalactic tourists.
Not only on star rail. On honkai impact third, the collision or merge of two worlds (or bubble universes) has always been a common theme. On the current story, its actually the main plot of the part 2 arc, where there are 2 different worlds connected, with a device (similar to what the spiral abyss could be) to travel between the two worlds
How much in detail they planned it all for don't know how long for it to have its dots connecting and making perfect sense so later in the game. Genshin's greatest advantage is their deep lore. Nobody even comes close to it.💀
Stuzha sounds like it could be a reference to Norse Fimbulvetr or Fimbulwinter the harsh winter that precedes the end of the world and puts an end to all life on Earth.
It's also possible that Dotorre resurrected a Crimson Moon Dynasty member (aka Peruer) and had her ingest the crimson flames to forget all she knew before. Her name means slave and it would make sense that under Dotorre, Pierro wanted to ensure that her Resurrection had no flaws. So after consuming what would be her own flames in a younger version of herself, she was placed in the House of the Hearth where she would be tested more than likely unbeknownst to Crucibina to keep the trials and conditions the same.
This could also imply that the harbingers above Peruer are some form of Khanrian/Primordial/Descender hybrids either by blood or experiments by Albedo's master or even before. Also, the Abyss being the other Sphere for Teyvat would be crazy if the half's weren't symmetrical but rather the top of one is the end of the other i.e)( the depths of the Abyss are the sky in Teyvat while the opposite is true for the Abyss. P.S Upside down statue.
Remember how Childe fell into the abyss from Tevyat(New World) when he was a kid? What if Arlechhino also fell into(or climbed up to? like it said in Perinheri) the abyss as a kid but from Khaenriah(Old World)? And unlike Childe who was weak af, she was strong enough(thanks to her Balemoon powers) to clear the entire 1-12 floors of the abyss but in reverse order and emerged into the New World(Tevyat). This is why even Pierro was shocked to see a descendent of Balemoon dynasty survive because by the time his dynasty came to power, Balemoon lineage had already self destructed and most of its descendent died or at least hid, until they forgot they belonged to the Balemoon heritage. This also opens up a new interesting plot point: there might be an entire civilization living in the abyss, and they might be the people of Balemoon dynasty who fled after the rise of the Pierro's dynasty. Arlecchino herself might have not known about her Balemoon heritage and powers hence she asked Pierro, who knew about the old Khaenriahian ritual and advised her to read the book Perinheri. Her signature weapon is also interesting, not only does it turn into a scythe when she uses it, but its also a tool of some old Balemoon dynasty's ritual, and might have been passed down to Arlecchino by her ancestors. Or alternatively, those Balemoon people who were worthy enough to challenge fate(sounds so much like Descender), were able to wield this weapon to its full potential, meaning she might have had already played the Battle Royale game long before being reborn as Peruere in Tevyat. Where does Tsaritsa stands in all of this? She might be the only archon who mastered both the new and the old world. This made her a traitor in the eyes of current archons, but by doing this she also rose above the rest of the archons in terms of power. Because she must be very, very strong to hold command over the Fatui Harbingers, whose top members are powerful enough to beat archons. But during this process she also learnt how to make peaceful worlds for both the Tevyat and the Abyss(which are stuck to each other in a toxic cycle) and that's how her quest to create the New World Order started. Because remember, she is supposed to be the god of Love and Kindness, and what better way to show these emotions than to make peaceful worlds for everyone. My personal theory is Il Capilano will be Geo and have a Geo resonance, making him impervious to reactions and extremely resistant to elemental damage. He will be like Juggernaut, and not only do immense damage when he attacks, but knock players around like bowling pins.

The part about the skies being fake keeps being referenced throughout the story. Before Sun and Moon says the Primordial One made the skies out of his eggshell. Dottore says to Nahida that the skies are fake.
But the other parts are not. Like the true nature of the stars, which is still a bit of a mystery.

Bit of music theory here but Hoyo tends to use EDM for creatures or beings that come from outside of Teyvat. Eg. the enemy you fight halfway through the narwhale boss has some very strong EDM going on. Arlecchino contains EDM in all her themes which could really reinforce your theory about her being a reborn moon sister, assuming they aren't native to Teyvat.

I'ma just assume for now that their world got destroyed. I think in one traveler character story, it said something that they thought Teyvat would be a nice place to stay for a while( I don't remember what it exactly said), but imagine that traveler just went on a vacay to teyvat but it turned into a whole story plot. If this is true, it would be kinda like penacony on how the astral express came to penacony for a vacation but it turned out to be the most tragic story ever.

With all the events happening in Genshin and all the old lore that have resurfaced, I’m starting to think that The Tsaritsa herself is Khaenri’ahn. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that The Harbingers have connections to Khaenri’ah and the Abyss and that their strongest members have powers that rivals even the Gods/Archon themselves. I’m also pretty sure that “Project: Stuzha” started when The Tsaritsa “changed” 500 hundred years ago. Venti even confirms in the Mondstadt Archon quest that she suddenly cut ties with him and had changed. Remember Dainsleif’s voiceline for the Snezhnayan chapter in the preview?

That the Tsaritsa has endless love for her people. Childe says she is a gentle soul who basically has a hard shell but is soft inside. I don't remember who, but one of the other YT Genshin theorists pointed out that Pierro was shocked to see her because she's a DESCENDANT of the Chrimson Moon Dynasty. (I haven't gotten that far in her friendship level to unlock that yet, so I don't know for myself how true this is.) If this IS true, maybe you're still right about her being artificial or resurrected but maybe not in the way or for the reasons you think.
Think about it. Pierro told her to read Perinheri, telling her that it's accurate to her situation. Whoever took her to the orphanage knew this story. They made sure that she followed the same path because whoever the real Perenheri turned out to be, they wanted her to follow that same path.

Yeah it always struck me as odd that Aether said that they were traveling for a new home/place to live but then Lumine said that home was just where they were together? I did see another theory about them actually not arriving to Tevayt together but Aether was looking for her. Although the siblings look on the younger side, it’s implied that they are older than they look and while some people joke that they are too young the drink, others have either given them drinks or it’s suggested that they have drunk alcohol. From the opening image it doesn’t look like from then to now either sibling aged (500+ years later) so why would Lumine be in an orphanage? It does seem like either that is a fake/artificial Lumine and Khaenriah had some sort of wishing, creating or summoning technology or that this whole game is in some simulation like the matrix/Hoyo’s first game

I don't think Traveler will ever have their own power, untill they will regain their previous powers. They're catalysts, which absorb powers of this world, like a sponge, and more closer to dragons in this term.
For me, I think there will be a time skip of some sort. It seems like since Traveler and various other characters that are similar to the traveler's height still are growing into thier bodies and getting stronger as the story progresses. Plus I think Traveler's true power resides in the Gnosis, which could be regained if they actually touched them once.
I’m not even that surprised that traveller isn’t as strong as they seem at first glance. I mean think about it, they had help fighting Dvalin from Jean, Diluc and Venti, had help fighting Osial from Ninnguang, the adeptus and the Qixing, had help fighting Raiden from the wills of others and Miko and then again had help fighting Scaramouche from Nahida. Almost all the significant battles so far (apart from Childe and Signora, the weaker ones of the harbingers, and a few domain bosses) have been successful due to Archons or important characters, they haven’t actually defeated that many significant foes completely on their own. It’s something I’ve noticed for a while now and I’m glad people are beginning to realise it thanks to Arlecchino.

The traveler on their own hasn’t really beaten that many bosses. They had help with all but Childe, Signora and a few Abyss heralds and lectors. Venti helped vs Dvalin, the Adepti lent their power in Liyue, Zhongli helped vs Azhdiha, all the visions helped vs Raiden, etc.

Even in Childe's case, traveller was already struggling to deal with Childe's delusion form and we might not have even won the fight if it wasn't for the foul legacy taking a toll on his body.
well we know traveler suck right now, but we also know his power are still sealed by the "unknown god"
And most likely he will suck till the game is finished and we will only see him getting back his power in cutscene, not playable.
Imagine how stupid it would be to perceive as stronger something that in practice is smacked every week? I know Genshin is insanely illogical from perspective of power comparisons but giving people ability to wipe floor with Arlecchino and then pushing forever idea that she is stronger would be even more ridiculous (you can't give people more direct contradiction). I think that many enemies were stronger than Traveler but only for a while until we figured out how to beat them as bosses - this is what connects us as players with the evolution of Traveler. We shouldn't assume that Traveler is not getting stronger - I think that whole journey is a progress including power but from perspective of writing story it will be acknowledged in proper time...

She's probably an outlander(edit: sorry Khaenrian noble half-blood). She's also sort of a Fontainian. Teyvat is a continent of a planet, it can't have two planets. A possibly better way to word it is that Genshin has two planets, as Genshin is the story, while Teyvat's the land on a planet.
She might not be an outlander because if she did she would have any mention of Wanderer but she doesn’t have any voice lines or any interactions regarding him even thing they would’ve been partners for years

I don't think Arlechino is a moon Goddess reborn, she is simple a surviver of that bloodline, is not like her Powers are unique to her they are specificly said to be drived from her bloodline so is safe to assume that thoses of the crismon moon blood also had this, and the think about fate, well khanri'ah seems to allways try to resist the control of celestia a.k.a fate so make sense that the rulers had powers that defy fate
I agree that Dottore may want to use Arlecchino’s flames to burn away the old world and in order to do this I believe that Dottore will set Irminsul on fire since those flames can burn away memories. Maybe the fatui want to bring back a previous iteration of teyvat perhaps when one of the Khaenri’ahn dynasties was at its golden age. Arlecchino may have done some foreshadowing when she said that when you lose your memories you revert to a younger form of yourself. I believe this was in context to Clervie but it could hold true to Irminsul as well.

Well if the abyss is an entire teyvat flipped then we've got a lot of adventuring to do people :) We know though that khaenriah was under attack from "things" outside the world and had huge combat prowess to do that. They had technology to peek into these other worlds in the eclipse dynasty at least. So khaenriah was like the border country taking all the attacks of the aggressors, which sort of makes khaenriah heroes , not villains. We know they were fighting abyssal entities near the cataclysm invocation.

Based on Nahida‘s words, there is a huge gab between the first three harbingers and the fourth, to the point that 1, 2 and 3 are in the realm of gods.
The traveler right now is not even fit to be Capitano‘s punching bag.

In Asian stories, gods (or as they are also classified: Immortals) have a huge gap between them and normal humans / being which are usually classified as mortals. Even the most powerful mortals cannot even touch a hair on an immortals body and are nothing more than ants. Arlecchino did just that against the traveler, but is not among the top 3.
If you want to see her words differently, you are free to do that, I have my view based on the fact that as stories progress, characters an MC encounters usually only get stronger.
Nahida only mentioned the comparison of the top 3's strength which is comparable to that of a god, she didn't say that rank 4 is far below 3, besides, Arlecchino views Columbina as a unique and funny harbringer instead a threat unlike Scara who views her as a threat.
Maybe the Traveler will get some sort of power boost once they touch the statue of the seven of Natlan.Considering Natlan is the nation of war,Maybe the traveler will become stronger from the statue’s power.

We're in the part of the story where the hero gets destroyed by the enemy and willl feel doubt and anguish, but then he will overcome this struggle and rise to the challenge. AKA typical shonen like story structure. Idk why everyone is like "hurr durr the traveler will get bodied by Capitano", if traveller and Capitano ever do fight you can be sure he'll be much stronger because the plot demands it. "Hurr durr Ichigo/Naruto/Itadori will get bodied by Aizen/Orochimaru/Mahito" but fast forward a couple arcs and they all won against their nemesis.

I'm not sure if this can be used as a reliable analogy due to the caveats.
The traveler did feel hazy when leaving the Shogun's palace, which was definitely due to her power being released / activated / being around, but it was purely due to the raw power "in the air" in the real world.
At the same time when he "froze in terror" against Arlecchino, he was looking in her eye, and was seemingly teleported into some other plane, where some strings were holding him in place. So While I agree that this was the first time the traveler seemed to be afraid, I don't think the "freezing" was comparable, as it was shown to be some kind of direct binding, likely connected to Arlecchino's special powers.
Also why I mentioned the traveler looking into her eye is because I think she has a line somewhere about not advising to look into her eye, because we'd not like what we see.
That does sound like there are some sketchy things going on with her eye, which I don't think can be compared to raw power.
It's possible that there is some kind of primal negative feeling or fear itself "lurking behind her eyes", which could be similar to a simple Genjutsu from Naruto, where it's not about power, but rather a paralyzing and/or emotional aspect.
It's also possible that it is about power, but not directly Arlecchino's current power level, but rather the full potential of her power's origin

Salt Snow Holy City The land of the living, and Country of Iron Sand the Land of the Souls/Dead. 2 worlds completely different but also connected. People lived in the Salt Snow Holy city and when they die they went to Country of Iron Sand and hope to later get reincarnated to go back.
This wasn't naturally done but Created by strong entity that Combined these 2 worlds that slowly started to erode and destroy them for energy.

(Its kinda like removing rukkhadevata but the existing withering zones still exist).
That's not what happened; Earth didn't reject her, it was her new found power of Finality that was too dangerous.
Finality is in of itself a very POWERFUL aspect of Honkai if not the core. According to lore on the P.E. the Herrscher of Finality was so powerful that normal humans would die instantly when within her proximity without her even trying or even willing it. That's because the very power of Finality is destructive at it's nature. This didn't change when Kiana became the new defacto herrscher of Finality after defeating Kevin.
For this reason; Kiana needs to stay in the moon for several years to master her new powers so she can then descend back to the Planet without killing anyone unintentionaly.
It was never rejection; It's just the new power is TOO much of an "Anti-Life" font that she needs to master it off-planet first before returning. Only Valkyries, Herrschers and Mantis-Type individuals can stand being near her due to Honkai resistance.
Genshin is getting so good!!!! Great analysis. I think in a way the story has led us to see the Fatui's plan as maybe something not to bad? even though we dont know what they're planning, Celestia seems worst than them. I'm honestly glad that the traveller couldn't win against Arlecchino. I think the story will develop in a way we are not expecting.
So, I've had this sort of thought nagging at me.
We know that the traveler canonically gets stronger with each element (and therefore each region). IMO the end game is the traveler conjoining their 7 elemental powers with their original powers, as their OG powers weren't enough (But thats not relevant for now)
The point of why I bring this up, is we know 3 things..
1. Mecha Scara was stated as having the genuine power of a god. We do know not all gods are created equal, but that statement was made regardless.
2. 4 Element traveler was powerful enough to throw hands with Mecha Scara, and while still weaker then Mecha Scara, it doesn't change the fact we were powerful enough to measure up against a bona-fide godlike entity.
3. Nahida stated it was only Harbingers #3 and up who could rival gods.
So, why is this important? Well, if you look at Arle's voice lines, she seems reasonably confident in her belief of facing down Dottore if need be. Not just that, she EXPLICITLY states in her story quest that she makes it a point of spreading misinformation or withholding truths about herself, as it furthers her goals.
So, again, what is the point?
I think that Harbingers #3 and up being godlike isn't quite true. Rather, I think Arle should be included as well. Nahida's information is based on what Irminsul seems to know, BUT if we combine Arle's history of misdirection and subterfuge, and the very heavily implied "Not properly of Teyvat" nature of her powers/self, it may simply be that Irminsul itself was either tricked/didn't have a proper grasp of just how powerful Arle is.
Again, the traveler is canonically stronger then in Sumeru were we managed to fight a proper god level being, and while we had Nahida gift us all that knowledge and give us the opportunity in the first place, Nahida herself didn't join in on the fighting, it was all us. So for Arle to not just beat a more powerful traveler, but beat a more powerful traveler who had help WHILE holding back herself...
Tl;Dr-> Arle is god level, and Nahida/Irminsul simply has no way of knowing, either through her own attempts at obscuring info about herself, or because of her weird two world motif goin on.

Duality is such a big theme in Genshin more generally, so two planets would honestly make a lot of sense. Like, thinking about the Traveller/Abyss Twin, Ei/Makoto, Rukkha/Nahida, Egeria/Furina etc., and even the light/dark realms in Enkanomiya. I've also seen a theory that Natlan might involve a war of succession between two tribes/siblings... I don't know, twins/pairs come up suspiciously often imo.

In Honkai Impact 3, there's also one bubble universe where two worlds grew attached to each other due to the first world's inhabitants' desire to see the deceased persons, and the two worlds were collapsing due to their interactions (and something more). I'll be very surprised if this is what's happening in Teyvat 😨

Interesting, Hoyo has experience in making something like this, so I won't be surprised. Btw. First, Genshin has to be a Honkai series, but it is still connected. Teyvat is really similar to Vita's planet arc from Honkai Impact 3rd and some bubble univers from arc before.

Arlecchino was not become 4-th Harbinger from the start. She rise threw the ranks and Crucabena probably was one of the weakest among Harbinger's. Probably her place was below Signora
Crucabaena seems to also have been the 4th Harbinger. It’s likely just that the gap between Columbina and the rest is so large that even the obvious increase that Perure’s strength is over Crucabaena still doesn’t approach the big 3

There is one more possibility arlecchino is actually more powerful than any harbinger or tsaritsa itself, and in story we know she likes people to have misconceptions about her. She's also confident to turn against tsaritsa if needed without second thought ( child voicelines)

Ultimately, if you receive a Vision, you are entrapped by fate. A'chino has been written into Teyvat's plan. Only a descender who can defy fate will be able to take control of Teyvat & the Abyss.
We already know the Abyss and Teyvat are incompatible with each other. It makes sense that Alecchino came from such a world, and so glitches in Teyvat.
That she was reborn in the same manner as Catapilar, having a cursed body. It's a fairly normal body, just as long as she doesn't let her emotions erode it away. But she's severed herself from those emotions as she grew up. Hence why Neuvilette can't sense any.
And if I'm correct, Genshin's story writer confirmed in an interview that the Dottore burning Irminsul scene was going to happen in the future. I can tell that genshin's story will be extremely good in the future, seeing how they've started to make it better from Sumeru. I wonder what's going to happen, and right now, there are MANY unanswered questions. I've started to wonder abt where the traveler originally came from, and why are the siblings travelling in the first place??

While Traveler can't defeat Arlecchino during her story quest, you also forgot that Traveler did NOT use any of his/her elemental powers. During Navia's quest, Traveler used his Geo powers to block the rubbles from harming Poisson, and can also use two(maybe more - currently has 5 elements in his/her disposal) elements simultaneously like during the fight with Childe in the Golden House. So we can safely say that the Traveler also held back during the Arlecchino fight. So as of now, we can't really say how the Traveler will fare against the Fatui.

I think people who are salty about the Traveller(mainly Aether) losing forget that they’re title is the TRAVELLER and often called a “Witness”. Not like “The Warrior/Conqueror” or something similar, so of COURSE they have extreme stamina and durability and not raw strength. It’s literally in their title as essentially intergalactic tourists.

On the current story, its actually the main plot of the part 2 arc, where there are 2 different worlds connected, with a device (similar to what the spiral abyss could be) to travel between the two worlds

It's also possible that Dotorre resurrected a Crimson Moon Dynasty member (aka Peruer) and had her ingest the crimson flames to forget all she knew before. Her name means slave and it would make sense that under Dotorre, Pierro wanted to ensure that her Resurrection had no flaws. So after consuming what would be her own flames in a younger version of herself, she was placed in the House of the Hearth where she would be tested more than likely unbeknownst to Crucibina to keep the trials and conditions the same.
This could also imply that the harbingers above Peruer are some form of Khanrian/Primordial/Descender hybrids either by blood or experiments by Albedo's master or even before. Also, the Abyss being the other Sphere for Teyvat would be crazy if the half's weren't symmetrical but rather the top of one is the end of the other i.e)( the depths of the Abyss are the sky in Teyvat while the opposite is true for the Abyss.

Remember how Childe fell into the abyss from Tevyat(New World) when he was a kid? What if Arlechhino also fell into(or climbed up to? like it said in Perinheri) the abyss as a kid but from Khaenriah(Old World)? And unlike Childe who was weak af, she was strong enough(thanks to her Balemoon powers) to clear the entire 1-12 floors of the abyss but in reverse order and emerged into the New World(Tevyat). This is why even Pierro was shocked to see a descendent of Balemoon dynasty survive because by the time his dynasty came to power, Balemoon lineage had already self destructed and most of its descendent died or at least hid, until they forgot they belonged to the Balemoon heritage.
This also opens up a new interesting plot point: there might be an entire civilization living in the abyss, and they might be the people of Balemoon dynasty who fled after the rise of the Pierro's dynasty. Arlecchino herself might have not known about her Balemoon heritage and powers hence she asked Pierro, who knew about the old Khaenriahian ritual and advised her to read the book Perinheri. Her signature weapon is also interesting, not only does it turn into a scythe when she uses it, but its also a tool of some old Balemoon dynasty's ritual, and might have been passed down to Arlecchino by her ancestors. Or alternatively, those Balemoon people who were worthy enough to challenge fate(sounds so much like Descender), were able to wield this weapon to its full potential, meaning she might have had already played the Battle Royale game long before being reborn as Peruere in Tevyat.
Where does Tsaritsa stands in all of this? She might be the only archon who mastered both the new and the old world. This made her a traitor in the eyes of current archons, but by doing this she also rose above the rest of the archons in terms of power. Because she must be very, very strong to hold command over the Fatui Harbingers, whose top members are powerful enough to beat archons. But during this process she also learnt how to make peaceful worlds for both the Tevyat and the Abyss(which are stuck to each other in a toxic cycle) and that's how her quest to create the New World Order started. Because remember, she is supposed to be the god of Love and Kindness, and what better way to show these emotions than to make peaceful worlds for everyone.

My personal theory is Il Capilano will be Geo and have a Geo resonance, making him impervious to reactions and extremely resistant to elemental damage.
He will be like Juggernaut, and not only do immense damage when he attacks, but knock players around like bowling pins.
He doesn’t have a vision tho.

You know i think it's actually literally abyssal firmament. As in "apocalyptic views" zone from Fontaine esoteric revelations quest. Shattered dome of the sky and abyss right behind it. I also think the apocalypse Rene de Petrichor mentioned wasn't prophecy of Fontaine but rather destruction of teyvat.
