    More brown on the wooly worm, mild winter....more black, harsh winter. So keep finding those brown ones! 😁

    For us dummies that's never been around equipment like that it sure puts into perspective how massive that combine is compared to the full grown man standing next to the header. That dump trailer is a pretty cool looking setup. I'm glad to see harvest going at least fairly smooth for you guys. As always thanks for sharing the videos with us brother. Congratulations on the Homecoming!

      Thanks! Yeah our combine is one of the smallest modern ones they make!

    Hi Rod, you said in one of your other videos that you farm about 2700 ac total with 150 cattle, I,m guessing 200 ac would comfortably support the cattle so is that combine clearing 2500 ac or do you get help?

    • @ohioflyingfarmer7050
      @ohioflyingfarmer7050  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the question! The 2700 acres includes all tillable ground, pasture, and woods. We raise crops on approximately half of that. The other half is pasture and woods. Also, when I say 150 cattle, that actually means 300 head assuming each cow has a calf.

    I remember my grandma saying that the more black on the wooly worm the worse the winter. Or something like that. Awesome video, keep them coming!

      Well, based on the ones I've seen, we're in store for a mild winter!

    let's also hope that you can keep safe with the minimum use of your dryer system! As you well know, some farmers in the neiborhood states have already experienced some concerning events related to fire at this time of the harvesting season! Operating Profitably is harder but that`s what I hope for you! America Sir!

    More black, harder the winter on the woolly caterpillars

    Looks like all your equipment is well looked after which is important. A military man that's seen combat afraid of the doghouse, sad. Lol

    I understand your combine fits your farm size. But the header looks so small vs all the other TH-camrs running 45' or 50' headers.

    • @ohioflyingfarmer7050
      @ohioflyingfarmer7050  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, a 25' head is all this combine wants.
      And.......we don't like to spend money.
