When I signed up for usertesting, it only asked me for my email, and sent me a verification link. But I can't log in since it required a password. Do you have any solutions for these?
Or are they going to ask for your information once you get approved for your sample test ? Thank you

Actually you are the only honest person I see in this site because everyone just put random answers to the questions they ask to just take the test
Thank you for your honesty, all these sites are similar, you dont get the volume of tasks that you need or if you do, sometimes it takes hours and hours to earn a dollor!

This is the only realistic video I've seen for this site. Everyone makes it seem like you'll make a lot of money.
do you get paid no matter the rating, or is there a certain amount of stars you need to get to be paid?

They do pay, it takes 7 days but very lucky to get qualified for a test. Usertesting should only show you test based on your profile.

I got approved for User testing one week back, but till now I didn't get any task... It is difficult to watch screen like an owl without any work.

Was the site you tested about hair dye?
Been approved for about a week, two tests popped but immediately said I didn't qualify when I selected student. Then another test popped up that said I needed VR stuff which I unfortunately don't have. Bit disappointing have to say, to not have a test yet.

10 dollars per test it's a lot of money in Brazil , you can live better than a lot of people who works the whole month here, just working 40 minutes per day. Also, any money will be helpful to pay the costs of my application to the university. Thanks for your tips. 😊

So what if u said u work for Google? :')) is not like they will check ur Google employer licence.. so as long as u get the test it doesnt even matter.. idk.. if they do this, u should play them back with the same treatment..
my other reason for my decision is that you are not allowed to use a VPN

UT has been a frustrating experience. I've qualified to become a tester, but I swear I've been only able to take 2 tests in the span of a month. Everyday I see new screeners pop up, but same thing, "Unfortunately you didn't qualify for this test," every single time.
Yeah, that is the biggest downside. It can be like 1/10 success rate for screeners or worse. Easy money once you pass a screener, but takes ages to sift through the screeners.
@@JenniferMarieVO Part of me thinks some of these screeners don't actually lead to tests, they're just strictly there to collect data.
I agree Keylock, I believe most of these screenings before paid survey work is just that.
I don't even see tests whatsoever.

Hmm. I can't quite remember. But it might have been like 10-15. Not the greatest of odds..

The test its self is not accessavle for screen reader users. Screen reader will not read the pop up with the task this can be done in a different way to make it accessible. You need blind testers.

It depends. Some days there are more tests than others
those screeners are the biggest problems on this website!! i passed the qualification test long ago in the first attempt and i get 2-3 tests a month and never pass their screeners!

If I would design such a test it would be to figure out the honesty of the tester. I would determine if I wanted the person to stay or be banned based on how many lies I found.

Hi , thanks for the video really loved it and found a new way to earn money... As I am qualified the test and I have logged into user test , since then I am not getting any kind of tests in both android and laptop. So do I need to do any kind of changes in settings to get tasks.

I read somewhere u should answer the pre questions liked this. If it asks you are you an employee for a tech company then say yes. Even if you’re not. Because what it’s really asking you is... are you a techy. If you are then press yes. Same as if it asks you have you shopped for your toddler revently. I haven’t got a kid but I know how to shop so I press yes.

This site looks like a huge time waster. You're not paid for any of the qualification tests you're taking and when you eventually do qualify, you make chump change compared to the total amount of time you waste on the site.
