@@bogarbill6331 Omega was my favourite brand until I bought my first Grand Seiko. I can’t get over the quality. Even though GS raised prices by 50-70 percent in the last years it’s still more value for money.
Rolex lovers will hate this but the Omega AT 41mm with the Blue Dial will blow a Rolex out of the water, better Movement, more comfortable on the wrist and far easier to obtain and on top of that Omega Customer Service is in a Different league to Rolex 😊
Thank you for the kind words! The Omega Aqua Terra is amazing. Check out our most recent review on the new Small Seconds reference. I just purchased that watch myself.
I purchased the 8900 with black dial and love the wrist presence and the indices and hands are striking. Had an opportunity to purchase a DJ 41 and chose the Omega. On wrist it was just more satisfying to me.
I have the Black dial 38mm version. I fully satisfied. It is an elegant tool watch ; that's the main difference between DJ and AT . I have also Rolex OP36mm but totally different taste. Nor comparable...
I have a lot of "affordable" watches like Citizen, Seiko, Tissot, Islander, G-shock and more. If I ever will get a luxuary watch this one is maybe the most interesting!
I really like this watch, i just hope they release it with a fully brushed bracelet like the railmaster and with their new micro adjustible clasp, then its perfect. Without those changes it just loses to any glidelock watch for me.
Yes, I prefer the more everyday look of all brushed metal, and state of the art fine tuning of bracelet should be main concern of any big buck manufacturer.
Good review. I would say that although a Rolex is a more respected brand (coming from the snobs) I would say that Omega's end product is more technological product (15k gauss and METAS certified) and a superior product in my opinion. Nevertheless, that Rolex is a beautiful watch too, wear it in good health.
There are basically 2 mistakes at the video: 1. 41mm aq comes only 8900 caliber however 38mm aq comes with 8800. Main differences are 60h /55h power reserve and 8900 has hour jump up and 8800 has date quick setting. 2. DJ41 diameter is not 41mm, it is 39.5mm. Kind Regards Levent
Do you know when you'll be posting this vs the datejust 41mm? Currently toen between this and DJ41mm smooth bezel in rhodium with oyster bracelet. Both beautiful, and either will be my one watch collection as this is a once in a lifetime purchase for me.
Oh, you got the one with the caliber 8800? The same size with the caliber 8900 is also a Master Chronometer, and adds a time zone (jumping hour) function, and it costs about $5700 MSRP as well. What you've got is a nice watch nonetheless.
Yeah I'm working on that. I talk with my hands a lot and sometimes it comes out in the videos. To keep the content authentic I only do one take and unfortunately I did speak with my hands a bit more than I was happy with too. Anyways thank you for watching the video, hope you join us again.
Retained value is a false perception. You will have to have a buyer willing to pay over retail and you have to feel comfortable safely doing that transaction. The so call resale value of Rolex watches is created by the after market buzz. Check around to how many watches floating around with resellers. I can’t imagine there are that many buyers willing to pay 2x or 3x retail price for a watch.
This is a totally different watch than the Rolex which is hyper conservative. This is more modern, some might say flashy. The Aqua Terra is one of those almost watches for me. Can’t own them all, but it’s cool, relatively modern, and fun.
i like the way you review it. But you are really shaking your hands too much when you talk. I don't understand. I had to slow down the video and pause it and try my luck to even have a decent look at the watch. sometimes you shake so hard it is almost out of frame. I like the lighting you use, and i was actually trying to decide on buying this watch. But its a shame i can't look at it properly here. This could be a habit you are not aware of but it is not helping the video at all.
🤔 get another bracelet? Put it on a leather strap? Lots of options here. Every watch with centre polished links is going to be a scratch and fingerprint magnet
That’s a problem with all PCL bracelets, the Rolex Oyster included. The AT bracelet is nice, but Omega offers other choices, and the rubber straps coordinate with the dials, are great looking, durable and have a terrific deployant clasp.
After I watched it I wasn’t a fan of all the shaking either. It’s improved if you watch my other videos! I only do one take to keep everything authentic and unscripted. Sometimes this is the result. Thanks for watching!
This is one of the most aesthetically pleasing watches I've ever seen. Perfect all-round watch.
It’s very nice! Omega just released the new aqua terra small seconds. We did a video on that one too if you want to check it out.
I have had Omega, I’ve had Rolex, Cartier, Panerai, Hublot, IWC, Jaegar, Tudor, etc…. I sold them all and I collect Omegas now.
Funny, same here.

Buy anything but hublot
Oh no not hublot 😄
I am actually tempted to so the same tbh
I own the Aqua Terra in Black and I own DateJust 36 Roman Dial. I prefer the Aqua Terra.

Rolex owners don’t care.

Available to buy with a saving over a datejust with a beautiful look. It's definitely on my radar for the future..
41mm case has the 8900 movement. 8800 movement is in the 38mm case.
Fathers Day love me gift!! Way better than date just!

Are you still very happy with the black? Or do you wish you would’ve went with the blue or green? It’s tough to make that choice.
@@marketingsuccess2637 I love the black dial it goes with everything.

The Aqua Terra in blue looks really good. It looks better than the Datejust in my opinion.
Absolutely. I love mine in Summer Blue.
I find the old version 2500 much more beautiful. Movement is not as good as this one of course but much better looking watch in my opinion
Great review and video!

that omega looks amazing
I have the green dial with the 8900 movement with 60 hrs power reserve.

My blue aqua terra dial looks light or dark grey most of the time. In what light does it look blue?
Please tell the price of the watch.
Hi, thanks on your detail predictions of Tag connected 2021 , will there be a release this year
Tag has already had some releases this year and we expect more to come. When it comes to the Connected collection, we anticipate nothing will happen.

Nice review. Tried same watch a few weeks ago at dealer both on strap and bracelet. Really liked the matching strap. That Datejust looks great too!
You have a average wrist and it fits snug.. what about a larger wrist? Does one have to buy xtra links?

pretty sure the one in the video is a 38mm, i checked omegas website and only can find the 8800 caliber in 38mm Aqua Terras
It doesn’t look smaller than the rolex 41 mm. so I’m pretty sure it has the 8900 mvnt.
It's the 8900. I misspoke during the video. Thank you for finding that!

It would have been nice if you had stopped moving the watch around and let us have that “closer look”.
Do you think the 38mm version would look good on a woman’s 16cm wrist ? Omega sells this watch as a men’s watch...
Jenni Elle wears the silver/white dial on her TH-cam channel and it suits her just fine.
They make a 34mm, too. My lady wears a 38mm AT and it suits her just fine.
Penso che il modello che hai provato dovrebbe avere il calibro 8900 e 60 ore di riserva di marcia

I don't like the crystal being so reflective. I cannot see the dial that clearly. The AT shade looks better on y wrist.

The omega it's beautiful but that rolex ❤️❤️, man it's from other planet

much. Spoils the viewing. I just could not focus on the review and it spoilt the viewing for me.
