Thanks for the tip,....wonder how fast it would go if you removed the bolt completely, just a thought?

Yeah, makes you wonder doesn't it. I'll let you try it first and let me know what happens. :-) don't break anything!

Interesting.. one of your comment replies stated that this adjustment made very little difference. My BX25 has always had slow and mushy reverse, but yesterday March 2019, with 2100 hours my BX25 was barely moving in reverse, at 2100 rpm. Forward seems to be fine, lots of power to fill the bucket and make the tires spin. In reverse, the tractor will barely back up, and at a snail pace. Anyone have a solution, or a place to make adjustments? I have already increased hydrostatic pressure at the relief valve, though I am not sure if that relief valve is just for the hydraulic cylinder pressure and/or the transmission motor?

I see you have the Paul Short gloves on!

😀. Yep, got Pauls smurffy hands. I've found them very practical in fact. Makes cleanup a breeze and keeps all the various chemicals off my skin.

I did this to me about two years ago it did not speed it up that much

Didn't make much of a difference for me either but a little is better than nothing. I've suppose I could remove that adjusting nut completely to gain even more speed. Maybe I'll try it this spring.

@@ritterjon My used BX1500 has a very slow creep to the rear. Someone had messed with the FWR REV rod and it was faster in reverse but I just fix that today. Are BX known for creeping when in "Gear" ?
