The one thing I love that J. Rusten brings up is that the price of the chair has a lot to do with the large amounts of time it takes to make it. Of course $9800 is a lot, but it is the craftmanship you are paying for. It is an art, and like many other types of art, you pay for the amount of effort it takes to make it. Props to him. He is honest about the price and honest about his work.

I hear both of those are good pillows but personally I have a zoned dough pillow and it is lavender infused so it smells good but the scent isn’t too strong
I think high-end isn't simple, but rather timeless. It's something that will last you decades if not life times and it won't look out of date in those decades. I think low end chair was great, but it's aimed at lasting 12 years. It's a great amount of years for what it is, but it's not for multiple decades.
It's like comparing a green apple to an orange. Yeah they're both fruit (and they can both be sour) but they aren't the same thing. It would have been nice if it was either "worth it office chair" or "worth it rocking chairs" or even "worth it weird-modern-chair-that-is-probably-going-to-leave-a-mark chairs."

I like how at the start of the worth it series Steven was dragging Andrew around, and now he’s changed so much! Before Andrew didn’t want anything to do with the series or with Steven. Their personalities didn’t seem to match. But slowly Andrew opened up to the energetic and outgoing Steven and now they are like the best of friends.

I liked this episode a lot!!! but I have to say, as an industrial designer, I feel it is unfair to put the office chair in this video. People do not generally buy office chairs in the same way they do the other two options. Unlike the other two options, which are generally heavily judged on their looks, and what they say about you, office chairs are graded more on their utilitarian use and not what they say about you. This is why you don't usually see people using office chairs as dining room or living room pieces where things are meant to be shared and actively enjoyed, you find them in offices, at home and at work, where they are meant to be invisible and unassuming. I think a good value option would have been IKEA, Crate & Barrel, or other similar stores where people go to buy chairs for very similar reasons they would go to the other two higher end places. That said I really enjoyed watching this episode :D keep up the good work guys.
In my last job the chair I had in my office cost over $896 and I have never sat better than in that chair😍 best part I didn't had to pay for it, my work did that (for all of us). Love living in Denmark🇩🇰❤️

I work in a corporate office and I’ve seen plenty of chair purchases. Let’s just say that a good ergonomic chair with a lot of adjustability cost around $1000. You get a bulk discount but that’s how much a “good” chair cost. For someone that sits inside chair all day, it’s actually WORTH IT!

I bought a Herman miller chair for my desk at home, and it is actually life changing. Probably the best $1800 I have ever spent on anything.
The $1,000 chair for the first guy looks so cool, I would love to sit in that one day, however the rocking chair is amazing, it's an art piece, I think that's what most people don't get, if your house is like $1,000,000 plus, dropping $9,800 on an art piece chair like that is nothing.
I wouldn't buy the Lucy chair per se, but watching the crew bend the wires and spraypainting it, it does genuinely look like a product that had a lot of work and love put into it. I'd say I think the chairs are worth it if you're able to afford it.

I LOVED the 1st chair oh my god IM LIKE IN LOVE WITH THAT CHAIR JESUS
I wouldn't buy the Lucy chair per se, but watching the crew bend the wires and spraypainting it, it does genuinely look like a product that had a lot of work and love put into it. I'd say I think the chairs are worth it if you're able to afford it.
