Kevin, you were very wrong about age gaps in Thailand. Jomtien is WELL known for middle aged bar ladies ...most other cities you will see very similar to PH.
Those are good prices considering the quality and how hard it is to find beef steaks let alone imported. In the states we are long past the "Ponderosa Steak house" era when you could find affordable steaks. It all looked good to me and a place to remember when taking a weekend or 3 day vacay. Panglao looks like a nice "getaway" location.
A note on Ad revenue, Adsense factors in where the views are coming from and the Filipinos have no disposable income to spend on advertised products. I however run TH-cam constantly even when sleeping, prime Advertiser Demographics. Kek!
Its gonna be very difficult for most expats to live in the Philippines if YOU don't down grade. That' one way to save for sure. Just study the locals (the really poor ones) how they live and just maybe slowly make upward adjustments from there. If you can adjust to the local diet (not the exotic ones) by eating at the restaurants eating local food, and transition to the street foods once you're in there long enough. Get your stomach to adapt to the foods and savings should follow.
When I was in Panglao 5 weeks ago I stopped in that A9 bar for lunch. Great Jager schnitzel, and you are 100% about the waitstaff. Funny part was the foreigners at the bar biatching about their Filipinas and money, lol.
Nice video. Cool restaurant to visit. I will definitely check it out when I go to Panglao. One thing though.. not too wise being drunk and teaching a child how to use a knife b'twn her fingers brotha.. she may try that at home when no one is around and injure herself.
Just because it's USDA doesn't mean it's of high quality. I don't see any marbling and at that price point I bet it's lower than select grade. Otherwise they would charge much more because it's imported.

6 oz filet mignon at the Wonderbar in Clarksburg, WV: $43.00

30 to 40 bucks is the price of a steak in the United States now
In a good restaurant, not golden corral or western sizzler you are going to pay close to $30 for a 12 ounce ribeye.
@@steveharris7116 this is a good steakhouse in Indiana 30 to 40 bucks
Well Kevin sound's like you had some beers, good on ya
It was a LOONG day!😂
