Mr Hickey, this video was exactly what I was searching for sir. Direct, straightforward, easy to understand information without the fluff. Question or two: (1) which band would you recommend for urban? Rural? Thank you again & enjoy the Lord’s day!
Hey, as I undersand, it suppose to receive on 146.550 and transmit on 440.775, but it does not work for me. It receives, but not tranceiving to 440.775
When I tried this on my UV-9R, it programmed fine. But, when I keyed the PTT, the radio will get stuck in transmit mode. I have to power off, the radio to get it to stop! So for now, I just deleted that channel... Has anyone else tried this, and was successful?
