- Come along on a quick outing to one of my favorite places to herp nearby! On this beautiful spring day in West Virginia I hike up a big power line cut and down into a seasonal wetland flipping rocks and other cover in search of whatever kind of reptiles and amphibians I can find. I hope you enjoy getting a glimpse of some seldom seen herps and maybe even learn a little something along the way!
Thanks for watching, and if you enjoyed the video, please do like and subscribe!

Very nice, thanks for sharing. I live in Wood County and see a lot of racers and rat snakes.
I've got family out there. No snakes, but Ive seen box turtles, common and alligator snapping turtles, and some sort of sliders.
Awesome! I'm sure you'll turn up a snake at some point :)
Great video. Loved the 5 line skink.
Thanks Wally! She was so calm, I couldn’t believe it!
Great video!

Awesome video, ever find any corn snakes or pine snakes in wv?
Thanks Cody, I haven't found either a corn or a pine in WV yet no.

@@mcw-lg2dm there’s some guys finding corns on the regular but I think they’re out near MD. Not sure about pines, I think they’re pretty sparse.
