The Oilers and the transparent numbers look like they are paying homage to Gretzky with the "99" on each jersey. I like it.

If Gretzky only played for the Oilers it would make more sense.
I actually don’t like it. It’s almost saying you own Gretzky. Which feels weird for a team to do this way. I like the concept of the blown up numbers

Reaction videos > Ranking Videos. Loved the natural reactions to these concepts. Some I could see the NHL actually use, others not so much. But great creativity in every single one.

The Carolina Hurricanes logo is like an optical illusion. If you look at the red portion you see a C but if you look at the white center you see an H. That's brilliant.
Love the video of reacting to jerseys. I would love for you to continue reacting to them but then also make a separate video ranking them. This way you could be making double the amount of amazing videos just by reacting and ranking jersey concepts.
Unfortunately I wouldn't do that because it would be too repetitive. I'd be saying the same things basically in both videos, just the order would be different. I don't think that would be wise of me to do.

I like the incorporation of flames at the bottom of the Flames jersey, and the trees on the Wild jersey. Besides those details, I really like the Vegas concept the most.
in case you didn’t know, the design on the st. louis jersey, is to relate to the missouri state flag, as the same design is on the flag
i like this type of video. it gives the video more of a raw reaction which is nice
i think the "preschool wall paint" are waves to represent the Mississippi Riverflowing through the city of st.louis, more than likely wrong but thats what came to my mind first
I watched all three in this design series and I cannot unsee a severed Panther head for FL. You can even see the bits of neck just hanging on
I really like the color palette on the San Jose Sharks uniform - it made me think of circuit boards. That may have been the design for the sleeves; I couldn't really see it well enough to tell. If so, my only suggestion would be to make the pattern stand out more.
LOVE the Florida concept, the whole vice city approach is amazing! That’s my favourite at least, a close second would definitely be that amazing Columbus jersey!

We saw the homes. We saw the roads. Now we get the ALTs! Yes! Time for me to geek out again!
1. Colorado - HELLO GORGEOUS! Bringing back the Colorado flag colors from their Rockies days and the number and striping?! Yes please!
2. Carolina - These blacks with this logo is amazing. I thought that every Canes sweater with the storm flag pattern works...I was wrong. Those stripes make this work too!
3. Boston - Simple. Clean. Just the “B”. Very nice!
4. Anaheim - MIGHTY DUCKS!!! The only thing I’d change would be the back fonts, but as traditional as this jersey can get, this is it. Love it!
5. Columbus - This one screams 90s and it’s BOLD! Love the stars, but that diagonal stripe is awesome! The only thing I’d change is the number color outline to make it red so it pops but DAMN.
6. Florida - I’ve seen “Miami Vice” concepts before, but this one is absolute FIRE! The logo. The numbers. That meshing of the neon colors on black though...🤤
7. Minnesota - Alright alright alright! Very similar to the road ones, BUT with a Giant “M” and that tree line? Not too shabby! (I still don’t like the number but I’d get over that with this one)
8. Nashville - Ooooo! A great blend of colors (and gets a navy sweater that looks better than the gold), but I love the script wordmark on the front as well as the Tennessee stars and the striping. This one is really nice!
9. Detroit - The word font on the front makes this jersey feel classic, but the numbers on the back make it feel modern. Add them up, and you get this very nice concept!
10. Montreal - Classic-feeling for sure! It’s not half bad, I feel like the cream takes away from this popping and ought to be white. But still really nice.
11. Vegas - The logo with the castle behind it is cool, but that number font? That’s to die for. This one is really cool!
12. Pittsburgh - This one is really interesting...and I think it works quite well! But I think this would look better if it had a different logo, to me.
13. Edmonton - Looks very similar to what they should wear now. And I can’t hate that at all. Paying homage to Gretzky is cool with this, but that’s what they have retired numbers for!
14. Chicago - Very similar to the road, BUT I love the forearm striping/stars to make it a flag! If the number/name font was less military and more traditional, this would look awesome!
15. Washington - This isn’t bad at all, it reminds me of Uncle Sam. BUT, my only take away is that if you replace the Weagle with the Blue Jackets current logo...well we get the picture. It’s bold, but it doesn’t feel unique to Washington in my humble opinion. 🤭
16. Tampa Bay - If this puppy was all black, I’d LOVE this. But this gradient works too.
17. San Jose - This reminds me of the Lightning’s grey on black sweaters where you can’t tell who has the puck. HOWEVER, I think the teal offsets that a bit, makes this cool.
18. Philadelphia - This isn’t bad at all! But it’s missing a bit of white I think.
19. Calgary - If the flames weren’t at the bottom and instead a yellow stripe, look out! I love seeing Calgary in black, just the flames don’t really work for me I guess (ironically, eh?).
20. Ottawa - This one...actually isn’t half bad. Even that it’s blue.
21. Islanders - The fonts on the back are the only thing I’d change (and why this is lower than it should be). Other than that? This one is really nice for an alternate.
22. Vancouver - In green, it’s pretty nice! But the number font and the wavy stripes make me a bit queasy.
23. Arizona - I loved the road concept. But I had to look at this one a few times to appreciate it. I think if this was black instead of brown, it’d pop more.
24. Dallas - Alright bringing back the black & gold into this...but the coloring is weird to me. Logo doesn’t pop, neither does the numbers, at least to me.
25. Winnipeg - Very similar to the road ones and it gets lost with the wordmark with this one. Like I said with the aways, more red would make this pop.
26. Saint Louis - This is interesting with the combination of their current logo and the city flag. But they have so many classic threads to choose from that it’s tough to make a brand new third that works.
27. New Jersey - It’s a bold pick. But it’s very Christmas feeling for me.
28. Rangers - This would be an AWESOME NYPD sweater. Problem is that this doesn’t speak Rangers. But it’s a really cool concept.
29. Buffalo - Holy moly...light blue! Reminds me of Fathers’ Day baseball unis. At least they’re better than the turd jerseys?
30. Toronto - I’d get kicked out of the comment section if I said what I actually thought. In all seriousness though, it’s definitely different and unique, that’s for sure!
31. Los Angeles - I had to do a bit of research for this one because I thought this resembled another LA team (turns out it’s the LA Sharks, or so I thought at first until I saw “LAFD”). I mean it’s cool, but it’s not the Kings 😕.
Fun to see the initial reactions like we the viewers have on normal uploads! I get serious Apollo Creed/Rocky vibes from the Washington uniform, fun for a one off game or two maybe near election day or inauguration day.
Wow, the Columbus and Carolina ones are just perfect!!! The striping making a kind of Civil War uniform is spot on. The color scheme is great, the lack of red in the current "cannon jersey" bothers me I gotta say.
Man, This Hurricanes logo, hats off to Liam... just clever, it's close to the actual one but modernized, and having the H and subtle C in it is reminding of what Hartford did with H and W being "intertwined".

This is just a guess (me being a “flag geek”) for the Vancouver jersey I think the wavy white and blue lines on the arms are to be representative of the white and blue wavy lines on the British Columbia flag. At least that was my take on it.

As a blue jackets fan, I’m very critical this is one of the better concepts I’ve seen, I like elements such as the diagonal stripe, I think tweaking the socks, and the arms would make this jersey that much better and I would like to see them wear it.
Sharks jersey is absolutely my favorite in this series of concepts. But overall very well done and cool to watch 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I liked the ones for the Capitals the Penguins the most. Great video! You should do a similar one rating / reacting to KHL uniforms or even other European leagues like the Finnish SM-Liiga! Both have some cool uniforms.

In no order I liked many of the same ones you did! Washington, Columbus, Colorado, Florida are great conceptually and in execution. The one which stood out for me as an “almost” was Vancouver. I loved the color and the “from a distance” look, but I agree the details like the stripes, and mismatching fonts definitely detracted from a good concept.
This is interesting cuz for ME the more creative or out there the better... I love flames,bolts,leafs, actually hurricanes or the flag, gradients, etc. Are going to be my favourites

I checked out Liam's work, and my favourite alternate uniform is the Tampa Bay Lightning
The Devils jersey is meant to represent a road sign for the NJ turnpike, if I am not mistaken. Its clever and creative, but I dont know if Devils fans want their jersey to remind them of being stuck in traffic.

The Florida Panthers jersey is to pay homage to the Miami Heat jersey. Such a sweet concept. Need to see Miami teams in more pink

IMO, The sharks one in this video looks better than their current alternates because the numbers match the colors. The Sharks third Jersey has white, which throws off the look. I’m assuming it’s that way for legibility on tv. With that being said, love most of these jerseys!

I hated it at first in the other video, but that Carolina Hurricanes logo has grown on me a lot. Once I noticed the detail, it is paying homage to the Whalers with negative space forming letters. The left side forms a "C" and within the C is an H and it brings in the whole logo into a hurricane. It isn't as good as the Whalers logo, but man does it come very close to being one of the best logos. I also like the white collar in this. I think these jerseys would be excellent if you just replace all the stripes with the red hethered striping they have on their alternates now. I also love the unique font, which is what made me love the original jerseys

As a flyers fan I’m not a big fan of that logo however I feel like the uniform has a lot of potential they added the Stadium series logo (all orange) on it 👌

My brain could not process the color of the Minnesota uniform. It looked like a black & white photo through a filter. Maybe if I could see it in the real world I might like it. I think the idea was good!
I really like the Oilers one Neil., it looks like their current third jersey!..and the Colorado one, I prefer a Colorado jersey with burgundy in it, I know that you love that one, but doesn't look the same without burgundy in it...doesn't the St. Louis one look a bit purple rather than blue, Neil?
