Standard features include air conditioning w/dual-zone climate controls, interior air filter, tilt wood/leather-wrapped steering wheel w/radio controls, cruise control, 10-way power front seats, 6-disc CD changer, universal garage door opener, compass, and outside-temperature indicator. "The Japanese Lincoln MKX" Competitors include the Cadillac SRX, Infiniti FX, Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz ML, and Lincoln MKX. It's a pretty good car. VERY popular.
I guess you're right. You're thinking is more logical than mine. I just figured that both the BMW X5 and Lexus RX are said to be midsize luxury SUV's while the BMW X3 is considered a compact luxury SUV. The X5 is significantly pricier than the RX350, and the RX350 and X3 have quite similar pricing. The RX is significantly bigger than the X3, though the fuel economy and handling are more in line with the X3. I guess you're right. The only similarity between the X5 and RX is the size.
funny thing is... This RX will easily outlast all the competition that was mentioned in terms of long-term reliability and comfort. There's nothing quite so well-built like the RX. Most cars the are being built today are cheaply made. Lexus/Toyota did a great job with these RX.
My mom hav this car ecep it a Rx400h same thing it jus a hybrid. Total luxury Nav, back up camera, heated seats. Fun car to drive oh yeah did I mention it cost $52,000 dollars. Damn that alot of money I hope she still hav money for my college
i have a '03 RX330, nor problems except the CS Player has an error and wont load or play but considering ive owned it since new and put over 112,000kms on it, its holding up damn well but its time for a change, IS250 seems real nice, but might wait for Lexus Australia to release the IS350
@youmils03 Even that is not completely in line. The RX is MUCH MUCH narrower than the X5, Q7, ML, FX, or MDX. The rx is basically a small city SUV that isn't a very good choice if any snow is involved as the car is light, has narrow wheels, and doesn't have AWD as standard

Yeah I find older Lexus cars ahead of their time! My 2005 RX has a touch screen, power tail gate and illuminated door sills. I love it

The Lexus RX isn't meant to compete with the BMW X3. It's meant to compete with the BMW X5.
The Premium Package costs $1245.

Beautiful SUV
I have Rx 330 04 Year the cs will play at times will say errors i love it manufacturing in Canada 2004
Luxury that a soccer mom would only love... and plus I test drove one, and the Lexus RX350 is not as comfortable as people claim.
the RX wasn't completely remade in 2007.. more like 2004!! who ever this is working for KBB needs to be fired.!! too much false info.
the rdx amd x3 does not compete with the rx the x5 and mdx do
How reliable are these long term?
So long as the model you're looking at has been maintained properly, very reliable.
clothe seats are standard??? oh hell.. this isn't a Mazda this is a Lexus!!!
