28:23 There is something so genuinely funny about seeing Toad and Toadette just deciding to collaborate and sabotage/bully everyone, boxing them in one by one and getting them out by any means necessary.
The most popular GameCube emulator is called Dolphin, so Team Dolphin would be at advantage on GameCube TASes, because they most likely run on the emulator, Dolphin
@@BrettKolb-o9nNot quite. Dolphin is the codename for the GameCube, as reflected in its model number, DOL-001, and its prerelease development equipment.
@@BrettKolb-o9nWRONG. I mean technically correct but wrong as to why Dolphin actually gets homecourt advantage: the GameCube's codename for in-house development was "Dolphin." This is also why the emulator is named what it is.

I grew up with every MP game including the game no one remembers aka DS and I've managed to match up dice a handful of times in my thousands of hours playing these games. I didnt even know youd get THAT many coins as not even the bots were that lucky.
Hi! I have a request for a TAS - In Mario Party Ds, when winning a party in Story Mode, you see the stars you collected circling you before facing the boss. The number of stars around you corresponds to the number of stars acquired (though it does not exceed 5) I've long been wondering - what if you win a round with 0 stars? Do no stars circle you? Does it not even count the win? I'd really appreciate if you could make a TAS where this happens - seeing how good you are at RNG manipulation, I bet the easiest way would be in Kamek's Library, with the star chalice spawning on the top level, then manipulating all COMs to stay on the floor one. Happened to me naturally in a game once, went up to turn 6 without anyone getting a star.
I have to wonder how long you have these things made in advance. When you uploaded a video of a makeshift 2v2 board in MP4 a few months back I specifically remember talking about this exact idea.
Usually it takes about a week to make one of these. This one however, I had started back in April. I stopped working on it for over a couple of months mainly because some stuff happened in life and I lost motivation. I finally picked this up again a couple of weeks ago and managed to finish it. Although, I did make the Clockwork Castle TAS during that time since I had more motivation to work on that project instead.
The Final Countdown by Europe requires you to attack your opponents by punching and kicking them onto a platform that is about to approach zero. When it does, the platform will open and players on it will fall through.
If you're planning another TAS of MP7 try Girls' Night on Pagoda Peak Your character: Daisy Opponents: Peach, Birdo, Toadette Objective: 99 stars or 999 coins, whichever you get first in 10 turns
how did u learn to use the pause/start system or the dice and minigames manipulation? i mean. how did u learn how to do all this? how do u know when and how to stop and restart the game? u need to pick a precise frame? and if so just how did you get that information
Really impressive! I have to wonder though; why did you not use the last turn to trigger another battle minigame via the battle space to get max coins and/or make every other team lose all their coins in mic minigames? Should've been possible, and would've made the victory all the more devastating imo! >:)
28:23 There is something so genuinely funny about seeing Toad and Toadette just deciding to collaborate and sabotage/bully everyone, boxing them in one by one and getting them out by any means necessary.
This is why they’re not playable in new Mario Party games now. Mario was like “nah you guys aren’t fun to play with, so just host” 😭
@@JasontheMason5 not anymore though 😂
@@callinater6133 yeah, take mario party 10 as an example.
To be fair, "Team Dolphin" did have home-court advantage, being on the Gamecube. Also, that was a crazy last turn!!
I honestly don’t understand what you mean by this. What does it mean in this context??
The most popular GameCube emulator is called Dolphin, so Team Dolphin would be at advantage on GameCube TASes, because they most likely run on the emulator, Dolphin
@@BrettKolb-o9n ohhh I see! Cool.. how do you get a dolphin emulator? I’d love to play Mario party 7 like the good old days
@@BrettKolb-o9nNot quite. Dolphin is the codename for the GameCube, as reflected in its model number, DOL-001, and its prerelease development equipment.

This is also why the emulator is named what it is.
Exhibit A: Why Toad and Toadette are the most broken characters in 7
Exhibit B: Why Toad And Toadette Got 33 Stars And 947 Coins
Usually the character capsules are supposed to be all balanced and not really contribute to anything but the triple mushroom orb gives you a direct advantage in running star
To be fair their exclusive orb wasn’t really a factor in this TAS.
Exhibit C: Why John Toadsworth Sr. serves as host of this game
It was smart for chugga to swap out daisy for toad in 7
8:13 I don't know if this was intentional, but the way the music lines up perfectly when getting the star is🤌🤌
I like it!
That last turn in where they got 7 stars in one turn is absoutely magical. 👏

300 coins for a perfect 30 is ridiculous... ok it's 1/15,625 but still
5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5

Not to mention they got it, 3 TIMES IN A ROW!!!!!!! 😳
Now 4 times!?!? WTF IS GOING ON WITH THIS GAME!?!?!?
Why Toad and Toadette are SO good, is their character orb: The Triple 'Shroom Orb. This allows them to roll double dice-blocks for 3 turns.
It's mostly good but it also means you can't use other orbs during that time as well, if I recall. Sometimes that can be awkward.
Am I the only one who couldn't stop thinking that toadsworth was choking whenever he spoke?
Yes and no. John Toadsworth Sr. has been a heavy smoker since he was in his mid-20's...
41:37 We’re impossible god.
Toad and Toadette: let's show them just how crazy our ability orb is.
*leaving note(s) for self on the super shroom 30 rolls. Wanted to watch them again. **7:47**; **11:46**; **23:42**; **28:51*
JESUS, 8 PLAYERS??? A 6 BLOCKS DICE??? Man, those must have been crazy times to play!
TAS videos be like: getting 99 stars in one turn
I wish you _could_ get 99 stars in a single turn. Alas, we can only dream of the impossible.
It technically happened with a TAS on the DS.
