M3l203 yeah but the homicide rate has been decreasing since 2012 New Haven is safer than Hartford and Bridgeport now but that's only because the police and the fbi are locking everybody up all the gangs and drug dealers etc. Im from the ville and police presence are heavy over here. Believe it or not New Haven was alot worse in the 90s I read online that in 1989 we had like 109 murders and 1991 105 murders.
M3l203 in the late 80s early 90s is when gangs started migrating to New Haven and the crack epidemic era from what I was told New Haven was way more dangerous in the 90s.. but then again mostly every major city in America was worse in the 90s if you really think about it.
M3l203 yeah new haven has definitely calmed down alot, youre right shit still be happening just not as much, yeah the ville the hill the tre fair haven westville and even Hamden certian areas in the city you have to avoid, but yeah back in the day the hill was the worse spot for crime especially on congress ave.
M3l203 alotta the crazy people in New Haven are either locked up or they moved some place else thats really why the murder rate drop, some of them are moving outside of the city to nerby towns such as wallingford Cheshire Meriden or Milford. I went to school in Meriden lived in Meriden for a couple years meriden use to be a nice place to live cuz my dads been living there for a minute. But now meriden is starting to become a bad cuz alotta people from new haven are moving into meriden now.
I feel like alot of dudes are using this as a platform to put themselves on rather than show the struggle behind the streets...
