In a later episode Al says "A man's toilet is his castle" Peg says "I thought a man's home is his castle" Al replies " It is if he can slay the dragon that's living there"
Al's so right about toilets today. My grandparents had a toilet, you had to hang on to your newspaper when you flushed it. Don't know if it was a Ferguson but it was a work of art.
+I.P. Knightly So true, bought new one recently. Small, too short, drainage like it was made for flushing hair, and not a man's load. Feel like they sold me some kindagarden equipment and not a man's toilet!
Damn right, they could get rid of a taco night in a single flush. You had to hang to the chain to unplug the flushing seal because about hundred gallons of water were pressing down onto it and when you finally got that chain pulled... BA--- WOOOOOSH! It should've come with a warning to not flush while still sitting, the pressure could rip your cock off! No, the water didn't come up that far, but the air being sucked under would have been strong enough to. You know airplane toilets? Harmless little breezes in comparison.
I love this episode. It is one of the ones that gets referred back to the most in the later episodes. Really makes you happy the show had continuity between seasons and episodes.
People in my country hate anything white now. Yet i cant count how many nonwhite men hit on me constantly. Wtf? Im actually a latina but no one can tell because im mixed
And THIS is what it looks like when a human mind goes off of the deep end of the pool, and splats in the swamp!!! Al Bundy has completely lost it! The writers were brilliant, the actors were incredible, and this series was Genius!!! -- Bob
It's the Stradivarius of toilets, and my dad could play it like a violin. Excuse me here dad but a toilet is just a toilet. Bud the toilets today aren't worth of the name. They come in designer colors and are too low, and when you flush it makes this weak almost apologetic sound. Not the Ferguson it only come in white and when you flush it Baaahh WHOOSH haha gotta luv Al Bundy
I did too! I think it was at Gower studios in Hollywood. I was at Universal studios and someone came up to us and asked if we wanted free tickets to a live taping. We said yeah, and a shuttle bus took us into Hollywood. I laughed so hard I was crying. From that point on I watched the show every week - every Sunday night - for years, until it was canceled. Still my favorite show of all time, to this day.
I remember when I was a kid, I used to take the newspaper, put in my armpit and went to the bathroom. Today I do the same thing, but with my cellphone.
I can still envision myself watching the TV in my college apartment when it first aired. I laughed so hard. Hands down my favorite scene of the show ever. If I remember right, it was on the fledgling Fox Channel, along with The Simpsons. Those two series alone carried that channel in the beginning IMO.
I love how Al shows more adoration for his toilet than his family. But who can blame him. It can't hurt him or take his money. And it has a JOB. Plus one of the few cherish memories of his childhood (which I found weird. But hilarious)
One of the best episodes, for sure! 👍🏻😉 But, if you're going to talk about "The best episode of 'married with children' ever", you need to consider this: - he thought he could (s03ep01) - The camping show (s03ep04) - her cups runneth over (s03ep06) - I'll see you in court (s03ep10) - a three job, no income family (s03ep14) - hot off the grill (s04ep01) - banking on marcy (s08ep05) - a little off the top (s08ep12) - married with prom queen (s03eps17 - 18) - it's a bundyful life (s04eps11 - 12) My favorite episodes for you 👏🏻 the ones I consider to be the absolute best from this wonderful, delicious and unique TV show 👍🏻😉
josè muñoz rojas can’t believe you don’t have the one in the restaurant where Al forgets his wallet and when the kids go to get it decide to go to a concert instead of bringing back to Al.
These new politically correct sitcoms can't handle shit like this. It seems that real primetime tv has truly gone down the toilet. But when these classic episodes of MWC started appearing online it was like the flush of victory!
Al sitting on his prized Ferguson . He imagines himself as a King sitting upon his Throne. I also feel those lowboy toilets were garbage . Toilets these days don't have the same quality as the old ones
The simple truth is.. this episode is laying down truth! The toilet's today are pathetic. The only quality toilets are in hospitals, certain major chain stores, and well maintained old school houses and buildings. No self respecting human being knuckles under and buys "low flush" crap "bowls"...
The Stradivarius of toilets. My dad could play it like a violin.😂😂😂
Lmfao 😂😂😂😂
It's Al's sincerity that gets to me. When he goes on little speeches like this, he means every damn word and that counts, goddamn it.
The pain on his face when Bud says “a toilet is just a toilet”.
🤣
Peg: "what does that toilet have that i don't have?"
Al: "A job" lmao.
Adam Tajyar the greatest line ever PERIOD
Sad but true
Sam wilson Captain America yep. Peg was completely worthless that al would love a toilet more than her and erect a monument to his bowel movement.
A man's home is his castle, and a man's throne is his toilet.
Nope, a man's office is his bathroom
In a later episode Al says "A man's toilet is his castle"
Peg says "I thought a man's home is his castle"
Al replies " It is if he can slay the dragon that's living there"
I loved how that fountain you always see in the intro collapses when Al flushed his ferguson for the first time
Nsjge
A toilet that says " sit down and and give me your best shot" lmao
When Al breaks down when talking about his father, then sits on the toilet and looks up so talk to him, I can't help but cry!
This show is truly timeless.
It's amazing.
Al Bundy, a true hero.
Amen!
Writing for this show must've been the best job in the world. My creative well would've never run dry.
Al's so right about toilets today. My grandparents had a toilet, you had to hang on to your newspaper when you flushed it. Don't know if it was a Ferguson but it was a work of art.

Amen. Classics that knew how to handle our shit and came back for more
Yep. Those darn no flow crappers of today literally can't handle shit!!
I love this episode. It is one of the ones that gets referred back to the most in the later episodes. Really makes you happy the show had continuity between seasons and episodes.
One of my FAVORITES from the series.
This is now more relevant than ever. No more flushing 10 to 15 times with a Ferguson.
I searched bawoosh, I knew it would bring me here. Ed O'neill's delivery is perfect here. Just the right amount of crazy.
Al sitting on the Ferguson is the quintessential MWC moment...classic. XDD
It's the Stradivarius of toilets
I still save to buy that Ferguson! Can't wait for that flush Al Bundy style...
When "Bawoosh" became a part of my vocabulary.
I loved at the end when he flushes it you hear the BAWOOSH and the fountain goes out
one of the best episodes and here is one of the best Bundy`s stories! THE Ferguson... they ONLY come in white!
People in my country hate anything white now. Yet i cant count how many nonwhite men hit on me constantly. Wtf? Im actually a latina but no one can tell because im mixed
@@erk44 ok, and this is relevant to the clip how?
@@akuntutmose4099 She's a toilet salesperson.
Now that's a Man's Flush.
The all mighty Ferguson!!

Best comedy ever. Still funny in 2020.
And even more in 2022
To this day I still cannot stop hearing Al's voice pronouncing FERGUSON when I see one of those. In a men's bathroom of course! 🤣
I've been looking for a Ferguson ever since I was a kid and saw this episode.
They still make them although they are called HiFlow’s now.
@@tylermills79 "ProFlo" now
bonsai108 it’s not a real toilet lol. They just called it that for this episode
@@adamtajyar Probably compared to an American Standard toilet.
@@atranfanatic really i wanted one of those babies
When you flip tv channels in Switzerland and see Al Bundy dubbed in German, that's when you know it's an American Clasic!

A man’s flush..... awesome 👍🏻✌🏻Al Bundy still Rocks... 😆
2:29 I just love how Al sits on it!
This is the Stradivarius of toilet humour. :)
Watched this on my American Standard Champion 4!
Who cares about the Sears Tower? I'd visit Chicago just to make the Ferguson turn out the fountain after I sat on it :-)
I saw this one live.
Autojones seething with jealousy
You were part of the audience? That must've been pretty cool
Tell us more! What do you still remember of the taping? :D

Al Bundy, the King of toilets & bathrooms!!!!
I remember when I was a kid, I used to take the newspaper, put in my armpit and went to the bathroom.
Today I do the same thing, but with my cellphone.
People used to keep toilet books on top of the tank for guests.
@@titanramfan
Oh man, so this were made everywhere, I'm from Brazil, and my wife's aunt used to let some comic books next to the toilet... Lol

I was going to also post “BAWOOSH”, but a Ferguson never needs more than one flush...

My neighbor was getting a toilet delivered today. A big Ferguson truck pulled up and I instantly thought of this.
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1:31😆Look on Al's face is pretty damn funny😆
when Bud Said a toilet is a toilet .🚽
Lmfao!!!! Ahhh Bundy, you never cease to fail....
A ferguson! How could you go wrong! I really love the Ferguson!
Man.. the different brands of toilets Ferguson sells. Yes, I went to the website after watching this video. I need a new toilet too.
Al crying over his father is surprising touching
I think that's why I get emotional every time I see this scene.
BAAHHHH-WOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
What is it dad?
...my destiny son xD
FYI, I did a little bit of plumbing and Ferguson is a real brand that is known for high quality.
BaaWuuuushhhhh!
That's a man's flush...
I had 3 just like that, , American Standard. 3 different colors. KaWoooosh!
I like the really old-fashioned toilets that had a tank on top and you pulled the water with a chain
That’s where Clemenza hid the gun that took out Sollozzo.
One of the Greatest Lines in TV HISTORY!!
I love how Al shows more adoration for his toilet than his family. But who can blame him. It can't hurt him or take his money. And it has a JOB. Plus one of the few cherish memories of his childhood (which I found weird. But hilarious)
Legend.
I couldn't find that toilet on the website. Man i would buy that toilet and i would too flush it like making music.
Who here is searching for a Ferguson?
we have a powerflush on order...even a constipated Elephant is supposed to be handled by this
I wish I had a Ferguson.
Al Bundy - cool!
getting choked up over toilet memories! lol! XD
Step up to the bowl partner and make it a double! 😂😂
THAT is a mans THRONE
A man's toilet is truly his THRONE!
when he cries wishing is dad was alive
It's a pre-1994 toilet. It only takes one flush.

Seasons 2-6 are the BEST. Seasons 1 and 7 through 11 still pretty good, but those 5 years from 1988 to 1992 are television at its best.
These new politically correct sitcoms can't handle shit like this. It seems that real primetime tv has truly gone down the toilet. But when these classic episodes of MWC started appearing online it was like the flush of victory!
His son trying to GTF out of there but getting pulled up a moment too soon lmfao it's so accurate.
Nowadays, toilets are so... politically correct.
And so is what doubles for entertainment.
Try to make a joke starting "a fat woman came into the store today" today.
