About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). Married for 16 semi-blissful years, Peggy and Al have found that the secret to a happy marriage is to accept one another's idiosyncrasies.

“Well now we got three guys that wont touch my wife. Whats the problem?”
Fine, but I'll have her ^_^
@@johnstriker480 al would say good luck with that i had her for years
@@johnstriker480 Congrats, you just got yourself a mooch.
Did you miss me honey
With every bullet so far
Who's the three?
I love how Al is practical enough to be non judgmental when it suits him.
I mean, he was really confused about why two guys got married. XD
@PerfectAlibi yeah but he went with it. It wasn't his world but he was tolerant. Much more than can say for many
Yeah, like pretty much everyone else in the world.
@@tastethejace You mean tolerant like nowdays woke mobs?
His confusion was non existent when you cook you work and you like sports? I love you.
Let me get this straight, pardon the expression
😂🤣💀
Al then proceeds to rethink this whole “straight” paradigm
Al found the perfect partner 😍 cooks, works and likes baseball ...😀
And all the manly sports
@@mariocisneros911 except for soccer!
This episode was really funny. Ironically Ed O’Neil made an episode on the Amazon Prime’s series called Electric Dreams where he is matched with a dude partner by a futuristic dating match service and he marries him. Only to find out later after a while that the system had a glitch and made a mistake choosing his match and drama ensues haha
Al gets a hot hearty meal AND homemade chocolate cake. He gets way more out of this affair than Peggy.
Wrong...Al played and loved Football..not dull ass baseball...
"Let me get this straight." 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂. 100% comedy gold
"Pardon the expression" ;)
😂😂😂
you say, your HUSBAND?!?!?! well then we got 3 guys who won't touch my wife, what's the problem?
😅😅😅😅
"Before my wife, I had a woman too!!!" Hahahahaha!!!!
😂
Zing!!
😂😂😂
It’s Andy, I’m afraid he’s slipping away from me 😢
God, that was fucking hilarious!! 🤣🤣🤣
That took me out! 💀
I enjoy Dan Castellaneta as the husband because from writer to director to actor, we see a relatable character that doesn't resort to tasteless, tired and/or obnoxiously overt queer stereotypes. He just happens to be homersexual. ^_^
He was also great in a guest appearance on Alf.
Dan Castellaneta in The Pursuit of Happyness.
I liked him in Stargate tv series. he played a barber.
“I’m looking for a Homersexual!”
@@michaelnix5560 That's right. He kept giving his keys to Will Smith and asking him to move his car.
I love how this guy just walks into Al Bundy's house and sits down on his couch without being invited in 😂
The conversation started. That was the invitation
“You’re Al Bundy?”
“Yes, hold the applause.”
😂
So funny
"I was Al Bundy." 🤣
What do you want?
@@bsgambati1 i just think you should know your wife is seeing my husband
I like how when Al’s stomach starts grumbling, Pete looks around the room wondering what the hell that sound is.
Fun part is when he said "We'd like to know what you cooked for him"
He says a happy man is a well fed man lol
His name is homer Simpson lol
Al was the man. He had the greatest lines.
I could not Imagine growing up without this Show! Al is the best!
"Wait, you work, you cook and you like sports? I love you!" Al found his dream girl.
Al always made the wrong choice.
@@75aces97 yeah, but at least he wouldn't be starving all the time.
@@75aces97 Yeah this not the only time there was also Angie.
“Guys like that deserve what they get!”
“He’s getting your wife!”
“Well, let the punishment fit the crime!”
100% pure gold! 🤣
😂
Yes hot momma
Of course this is gold. This is from the best season of the show in my opinion. Season 5.
😂lolol!that is well said!
It is almost as good as "well, then we have 3 guys who won't touch my wife so what's the problem"😂😂.
I like how Al seems more taken aback not by his homosexuality or being told his wife is out with another man but by how much Andy neglects him, trololol.
Al Bundy and Homer Simpson, face to face
Some of the live MWC audience reactions are the best. I love it after Al says, "pardon the expression".
Dan has appeared on this, Friends, Frasier, Everybody Loves Raymond, and many other shows that have come and gone, but the Simpsons lives on
The best show ever on TV. They don't make shows like this anymore.
They missed the later scene with AL eating from Buck's bowl...that was hilarious
It’s okay, it had his name on the side
@@OffeJ83 beat me to it
The timeless wisdom spouted out in this show is epic and more relevant today then ever.
"I'm an office manager, $40k a year."
That was impressive 25 years ago, but nowadays, minimum wage in my state is $31k a year
I think the best part is when he refers to his gut as "We" 😂 It's sentient
I think Jay Sherman said the said thing in a adlibbing sort of way on the critic.😂
More laughs in a single clip than most so called comedy’s deliver in an episode. Sometimes a season
Homer Simpson meets Al Bundy. Two of Fox's greatest icons!
The cream of the crop of sitcom dads of the 90s! The funniest comedy dad in Al Bundy and funniest animated dad in Homer Simpson!
Whoever thought of this of putting these funny dads deserves to retire, crazy residuals, a gold comedy trophy, a star on the Hollywood walk of fame👍🏿😂
Actually, Mr. Wilson from the 1950's Dennis the Menace series is much funnier than both Al & Homer. And so is Fred Rutherford from LITB.
Married With Children was watched by my family, every single week during its time on the air. We all used to laugh hysterically. My mother and one of my aunts, both had crushes on Al Bundy. They used to say he's an adorable man. FOX was amazing in the 1980's and 1990's. That network had some outstanding shows, and this is one of them.
100 percent SERIOUS AGREE on AL BUNDY ALSO HOMER SIMPSON & BEYOND LEGENDARY CLASSICS
Damn that “now we have three men who don’t touch my wife “ joke f$&@ ing got me good🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is the show’s best scene ever.
And the Godfather.
The part where Al eats his food is hilarious. 😂🤣😆
Why can't we have comedy like this in 2023? Is it too much to wish for.....
never gets old!!
I couldn't agree more. Characters that will never be forgotten.
They have the cutest friendship lol
This is how you write a gay character. This one scène has diner more for the lgbt community than all the woke bullshit put toghether. Just a guy who happens to be gay with a problem that could have happened to everybody. Its almost like the gay guy was just a normal guy.
Almost ?
AMEN
Could you imagine that scene in a show today? He would be outfitted in rainbow clothes railing against the injustices of the patriarchy and white supremacy which all conspired to keep him down, but he would rise like the mighty eagle and serve them all heaping portions of social justice and save the day.
Agree
This is how every sane and normal gay guy is tbh. My best friend is gay and his exact words are “if you need to run around telling everyone you see you are gay, then you’re insecure and an attention whore.” The only time he has to tell someone he’s gay is to women who try to hit on him.
Let me get things straight, pardon the expression. 😂😂😂😂
Al - 'Wait a second, you work, you cook and you like sports?'
Pete - 'Yeah, accept for soccer thats not really a man's game.'
Al - 'I love you'
The only time Al would have gone gay! LOL!
Married With Children Is Awesome Forever
“Well then, we have 3 guys that won’t touch my wife. So what’s the problem?”
🤣
This TV is the greatest
Yet another reason why the 80s and 90s were the best decades ever. Before we had any woke culture.
Sorry to break it to you but "woke" about gay people is exactly what Al was here and elsewhere on the show. Good for him.
@@thebrazilianatlantis165 I meant this show in general being "politically incorrect" was great. I didn't mean anything bad about gay people obviously. Gotta love YT trolls.
@@STONESGAM "I didn't mean anything bad about gay people" Oh, you're woke too, that's good.
Actually when this aired all hell broke lose conservative wanted this show cancelled multiple Times and btw there is no realy cancel culture you can watch everything you want from south park to the simpsons married witch children is still aviable so what exactly cant we not watch because i don't See this cancel culture
@@mariahelganova2927 There is cancel culture. People lose their jobs especially in the entertainment industry for saying something online that goes against the liberal narrative or making a joke that a few idiots online freak out about.
The ironic thing is it used to be the religious right that wanted to cancel things and now it is woke leftists.
Best show of all time, I never knew Ed O’Neil really played football and tried out for the Steelers.
Al finally met the love of his life. 😂❤
Even with his discomfort over his homosexuality, it's sweet how Al becomes genuinely angry over how this guy is being treated by his husband. There's a later scene when he actually tells the other man off--"You've got a terrific guy at home waiting for you!"
I love that Al turns the situation into about feeding himself 😂
The timing and delivery of "Have a nice time, honey"... absolute perfection lol.
Homer Simpson 😂😂😂😂
D"OH
this is the greatest episode in this show's history
3:42 is my favorite MWC moment of all.
4:18 is mine . "I love you"
Greatest sitcom of all time.
THAT IS THE VOICE OF HOMER SIMPSON !
Well no shit , I knew that when it first aired back in 1990
Al Bundy and Homer Simpson. Love it.
Kelly absolutely nailed that impersonation of her mom
This was hilarious when it first aired. My buddies and I didnt care about the gay thing...it was Al Bundy! We DID notice how Amanda Bearse became more and more masculine in appearance as the show progressed. Then Marcy's lesbian episode sister aired and we loved that one too, while realizing the show was once again, cutting edge regarding TV taboos, like Al's erectile dysfunction, gay characters, marriage and relationship issues
Al Bundy: The most famous, most productive, and most influential Tv Dad ever. 🇺🇸
I love this - Al is so cool.
Great sitcom
"Let me get this straight..... pardon the expression....." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Your husband? You know your a guy right? Lmfao 😂😭 Al was the greatest
Man this show was the greatest
Al Bundy and Archie bunker Icons
Married was so GOOD because you could do Stort line Like This .........One of the Funnies Lines on the Show ( Will you Marry Me ) !!!

My GF might not look the best in leggings but she works, cooks, and likes sports. I learned from Al.

Al just want to eat lol!
2:48 One guy in the audience wanted to hear about that
Best show ever😂❤
Happy 65th to Homer next month!
MWC was the BEST show ever !!
Al got his priorities straight ;)
We went from the cleavers to the Brady’s to the buddy’s to real housewives. Where did we go wrong?
I like the buddy's.
I was waiting for a "D'oh!" from Dan 🤣🤣
Al Bundy wasn't a deadbeat. He was just ahead of the rest of us by 40 years
"40K a year"
Still not enough to qualify for studio apt in The Bronx
One of my favorite MWC episodes
this is surprisingly progressive for when it was made.
One of my favorite episodes that was well scripted.
It's so cruel that Al didn't pass his daughter's test of love
You expected him to pass?
For real .. Al was
Clueless he just wanted to be left alone 😂😂
Great writing, great acting!
“Let’s give it up for Christina Applegate”
Your husband? 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 I missed the 80s
