About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). Married for 16 semi-blissful years, Peggy and Al have found that the secret to a happy marriage is to accept one another's idiosyncrasies.

"But you've all been very brave and spent anyways." That line is pure comedy gold 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
LOL pure genius
And his delivery! So broken down XD
And it's so real...
They were fooled by the opulence of their house 😅
There was a time when I laugh to Al's problems, now I am him everytime is tine to pay the bills
He raised a generation
No one could deliver lines like Ed could in his prime
Except for Katey Sagal's new TV husband John Goodman.
Never cheated. Never abused his kids. Always paid the mortgage and maintained an income. Al Bundy is a national treasure.
It's a show
@@juperez077 so??
@@juperez077 shut up, jesus......
Al Bundy is the best tv character in television history!
@@juperez077 Well Ed O'neil and Katey Seagal are pretty well known.
Happy 75th Birthday, Al Bundy!
From my twenties to mid thirties i was like Al Bundy when opening the bills. Luckily those times are past, LOL! But i feel him bigtime!
I'm sure this affects you even now.
You're right. Now with auto pay we don't need to see the bills. Yet, we still wonder why we are broke
“Way to get one.”
That’s his favorite Al Bundy line.
Still one of the funniest shows I’ve watched on TV. Stands up to the best of today’s programs.
Puts today's program to shame
Of course it does. Married with Children is actually CAPABLE of making people laugh.
LMFAO at
For a handful of girl
Give the bus a whirl 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂
What does it mean? İs that an idiom? i am not native english speaker.
@@COMPTROL
It's the line bud bundy told Al Bundy when he asked his father Al if he could get him a car or if he can borrow daddy's car to impress a girl on a date
Watch the clip and you will see how it's used in context of episode
It means if you ride the bus then the only "date" youll get is your hand
Brilliant. TV legends all of them.
"well perhaps you were fooled by the opulent luxury of our home" fantastic line
I been watching this show since the beginning. How did I never notice Ed O'Neill is left-handed?
The best TV show I've ever seen🎉😊.
That how i felt when i look at my bank acount after i paid all my bills
Al Bundy - The only man who taught the Real Life.
I now yell and cry at my bills too.
That time of the month for me mine goes in the bank account then the bills take it out
Now i know what marriage looks like. People just shouting insults to each other.
Yes
Hope that's a lesson to you!
If al sees the gas prices today, he'll have a stroke.
the U Turn queen. lol
🤣
Pretty much how I pay my current electric bill
Christina Applegate was my first crush. She still looks like a goddess.
@@MandyGoldenGoddessFan Mandy Rose is also a goddess
@Gator Katey Sagal too. 67 years old and she’s still a knockout!
Its sad she has MS😪
@@mayhemjr.803But not before she had breast cancer.
“Welcome to the first annual Bundy Financial Crisis Summit Meeting.”
Its only annual? Lol!
Al should have left them for a year and see what happens
I worked with a fellow that the ATM was a slot machine to him.
now you call anyone you want for free. Peggy could have called her mom and talked all day long for free.
So they were considered poor living in this house? We cant even afford that with 2 incomes today.
Before body cameras a woman like Kelly Bundy would never get a ticket
Police turn off body cams guy.
@@donovanwilliams29 No. They don't. Because they have to answer for each and every time they would turn it off. Stop speaking as if you're from authority.

There have been examples of where police have admitted to turning off body cameras guy. So what do you have to say .that they have to explain like they do not tell lies already.
Please they can lis about the reasons

I remember watching this show as a kid. When you get older I completely understand the character of Al Bundy.
Guess us watching this younger knew we be in the same boat years later ...be strong brother
We all become Al sooner or later.
I am actually starting to identify with Al the older I get!!!
Absolutely
Same here.
Despite everything Al never ran away
“Oh what the hell. New cars for everybody.”
And in a later episode:
Peg: I see myself in a Jaguar.
Al: oh if only we could find one that hungry. 🤣😂😂😂
'' gee your honor, i dont know where that shotgun came from''
Perhaps you were fooled by the opulent luxury of our home... 😂
"never do tequila shooters within a country mile of a marriage chapel". Best advice ever.
When we were kids, teens, and adults, we used to laugh at this family. But now that we are much older, we are living their lives today. Financially speaking, we are all like Bundy’s now.
Not me.
I'll be a millionaire by 2026

Back when tv was actually good.

"All my friends are driving"
"If all your friends are getting married would you do that too?"
Haha!
This is a show that was great back then and gets even better 20 years later. A show with punchline after punchline that hits. The writers of this show were geniuses.
Probably they were married.
Ages like fine wine!
Couldnt agree more. And look what a sad cry-baby society we've turned into.... this show gets better each year
@@nosferatu8530Yes! I can't believe how soft and delicate people have gotten. It's pathetic. This show reminds me of a time before all the unnecessary crying and "wokeness."
Long live Al Bundy! 🖤
@@southerncatlady Yeah, you know it´s messed up when the woke cry about the anti-woke and the anti-woke cry about the woke. America is fkd up anyway.

Lol it sure is lol
Yes that's true
Especially now with the economy down and everything up in price so much!

2:16 If all your friends were getting married, would you do that too?
The sad thing about that is that’s EXACTLY why a lot of people marry.
Ugh, so truE!
Poor Al I feel so sorry for him😢
Most of us laughed at Al but today we understand him. Just look at the gas prices!
You’ve all been very brave and spent anyway. I have to remember that one!
0:58 Brave and spent anyway lol!!!
I swear that's how i feel everytime i have to paid my bills i feel u al bundy
This sitcom is why i never got married.
This scene depicts everybody in the world right now.
The reactions al gets by seeing all the bills is priceless including the scene.instant classic 🤣 😂 😄
Bud: Hey, Dad! I got my license! Can I have a new car?!
I swear, he was born to play Al.
When tv was funny!!!!
And the jokes creative
In the past year Kelly has only gotten 2 or 3 tickets.
Kelly: "and it would have been 4 if I had not our ran all those cops.."
No telling how many she got out of by sweet talking the officers.
@@tygunn8183 I don't think it was talking
A lot of men go through the stage where we feel exactly like Al... I was no different... but then I lost 140 pounds of dead weight when I got a divorce.

I wish Kurt Sutter played Al. 'Cause he's Katey's wife too.

Ed O'Neill is left-handed! That's brilliant!
Yup! Left handers rule!
That shoe salesman salary sure went a long way back then.
I can so relate to Al these days😂

Ladies and Gentlemen:
PEAK BUNDY
Well, that's an everyday universal expression to paying bills.
That's how paying bills was when I was a kid...
this is the best comedy on earth
Al's lack of excitement is great comedy
this shit was funny as a kid. but now this scene makes me sad because i can relate to his pain. Lol
How everyone looks when they pay bills
Exactly what I'm doing when I have to pay my bills.
This show came out in 1987
That Kelly part kinda reminds me of this one incident. My family went to private school and my brother told me that once a student crashed his new expensive car in the parking lot and it was completely totaled, but his parent bought him a new one right after that.
I hope they have insurance that covers it
To be that privileged
imagine the idiots those 'parents' were --- what if that kid KILLED SOMEONE on the road, then they'd all be living in what's left of that car LOL
This is me.
Reminder to people who think people are softer today: this show was super controversial back then.
Definitely a classic show. 😁😄😄💯📺🎬⭐❤🙋♂️
New cars for everyone!! Hilarious!
The good old days yep.
My dad used to make these same noises every month.
That's how I pay bills too.
I see it in a loop just for the voices Al makes in the beginning of the clip
