I had the Fold 4, pre-ordered the Fold 6 but the cancelled after trying it in the store and got the Magic V3 instead (imported from HK, have been enjoying it for a month so far). Very happy I made this decision, the phone is honestly perfect. Especially love the wider screen, light weight, and thinness. Samsung used to be my favorite brand but these narrow outer screens they're putting on their foldables are so unusable for me.
Had the V2 and that thing was crap. Updates were a mess, bricked after the 3rd update. After a month the battery was draining like crazy. No aftermarket support and no trade in value. Wouldnt make the same mistake again. The hardware is phenomenal
point foldable phone is, when is close to be small, thats the reason why closed screen are small like simple S serie, and when you want big screen just open him , this Honor is big like Ultra when is closed, its stupid like hell..
Samsung sucks. They've gotten lazy because of lack of compensation, especially here in the US. Their technology in phones have been lapped by Honor, Huawei and One Plus. Unfortunately Samsungs buyers are like Apple's. They dont care about these subtle changes. They dont care about being outdated. They think they have the coolest phone.
In conclusion, the Honor is more pleasant to use and offers options to protect your eyes, but both phones are disappointing in terms of photo and video quality. It's frustrating, and I'm still unsure whether I should switch to a foldable phone or wait a bit longer.
The form factor (especially the phone thickness and the width of the external screen) is the same as that of a standard smartphone and (for me) currently, clearly the best on the Fold market, better than the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, but especially than the Galaxy Fold 6, Samsung better move its butt. On the other hand, I find that the selfie 🕳 camera of the internal screen is very badly positioned, but above all the photo-video quality really should/could have been better. Also, the biggest problem of Honor is the regular and punctual software monitoring, Honor smartphones, even ultra high-end very often receive the new versions of Android almost 1 year after everyone else, and that's very very bad when you put almost $2000 in a smartphone. And it's true that like many, I prefer the format of the external screen of the Honor, but that doesn't automatically make it the better format, and contrary to what many think, there are also quite a few people who like the format of the Samsung.
Well, obviously you did not used honor magic V series. I had fold 2,3,4,5 and I got V2 at the beginning of this year. No way that I would go back to Samsung again. It depends what people want out of the phone... For me is like this: 1. Outside display... A lot better in every aspect. Literally.. 2. Baterry, with the samsung I returned to the time of bringing powerbank with me... With Honor never. Not to mention the quick charging. 3. Cameras for me are a lot better, especially with the quick shutter that Honor have done. 4. Slim and feel like a normal phone. I use it a lot for work and I really need the big screen. But qhen I do not work on it I prefer NORMAL aspect ratio. 5. Never gets hot. At leaat not like Samsung to give me a message that ia too hot and has to cooldown. And then it blocks you... Ok I get it about the software updates. Honor are slow with them. For me this isnt an isuue. Also it might be just me but I have never had the V2 blocked and not responsing. With thr samsung pretty much I don't have a week without crashes... From the durability point of you, I work in a manufacturing of machines and the samaung was holding fine but I dropped tge V2 from the second floor of our building by mistake on the concrete... Not a scratch... I dont even use a case for it. It ia true that in video mlde qhwn you switch between the cameras samaung is better, but tell me really how often do you do this...

Honor Magic V3 supports Magic desktop like Samsung, it comes with magic pen which is far better than Samsung s pen considering the shape of the stylus and functionality. Samsung z fold 6 has most reflective screen in any foldable phone and you will notice a big difference when you get the Honor Magic V3 in term of reflectiveness and the crease. Multitasking is same. Some of the Samsung AI features are useless to me like the sketch. Honor Magic V3 is best option right now without compromises, I don't recommend getting the v2 rsr.
To me, samsung has a close to perfect combitation of screen sizes. I don't mind the size of any if the screens, to me is more a matter of aspect ratio because of the dimensions they chose. Either way the systems looks and feels awesome
@@xayato2697 I'll tell you my experience: my comment was before the purchase of the phone, now that I have it I can say that yes... The aspect ratio of the front screen is kinda annoying, while the inner screen is actually pretty good to me. I hear a lot about the thiness of this foldable and the thiness of that foldable, but the camera bump on these "thin" phones is huge. It has to be taken into account. When the phone is placed in your pocket, the camera bump doesn't go away. Samsung could have made the Fold6 just as thin with just as large a bump, but they chose to keep it more proportional overall. When opened, it is perfect with no huge boil protruding out the back.
