Spot on review! I had this as well as the z fold 6 at the same time to compare... I decided to returned the fold within the 1st hour of comparison! I have had mine for 3 weeks and concur with everything that you said about it! My worse day of battery was 8+ hours of on screen with 39% battery remaining! I've had several 9 hrs and 41 min with 25% remaining... and I was hitting it hard all day just to see if i could kill it! Its a thin beast and works flawlessly in the US on ATT! Well done review!
Great video! Watching this on my Chinese ROM Magic V3. It's a beast with its 16gb RAM and 1tb storage. I'm particularly impressed with the dimensions of the device and the camera set.
This phone has blown my mind to be honest. The V2 was great too, but I got a decent carrier deal on the V3 and upgraded. Worth the upgrade in terms of camera performance and a little bit due to the SD8V3. Other than that you can't do wrong with either. They literally tick all the boxes and stomp on the PFold 1 and Samsung Fold I've used
And unlike the pixel fold 9... It has 120htz LTPO front screen and UFS 4.0 storage. Also some reviewers are claiming average battery life which is not my experience. It's best battery life iv ever had and iv come from a 13 pro max.
Great video, well done! And what a sleek looking phone - love the design and overall look… impressively thin, not overly disturbing camera bump and whats surprising is the pen that actually looks like a real pen!
Thank you so much. You are totally right. It really is a marvel of engineering and the bundled gifts make it a bo brainer. If your in the market this is your device.
Nice overview. I agree on all your points. Had Fold 2/3 and Pixel Fold. Now the v3 and its like 2 generations better. You forgot to mention one of the other advantages over the Z Fold. The Pen works on the outer screen as well! So you can write quick notes direct on the screen without opening it. It is amazing how slim the device is. People don't realize its a foldable when you hand it to them to look at.
@RussRyan7713 is the pen as good as an S pen? I'm very much addicted to it for work (had Note 10+ and now a z fold 4) and I'm afraid to get V3 and realise I was better of with Samsung!
@@Jam-nv5gm as a pen for taking notes it's great. There is a good video online showing the differences. Mainly the s pen is more customisable if want all that. For me the V3 is fine for writing notes and using it just to interact with the phone.
Love the video, I have the Z Fold 6 (and OnePlus Open), I friggin hate the Galaxy. The front screen is useless, the battery and charging speeds are pathetic, the inner crease is a joke.
The only thing that bothers me is that portrait photos have locked blurred background. No way to change it or turn it off after its taken. if its not right, its ruined forever, so i can never use it for important moments. Other manufacturers have that feature for a long time now.
I wish Magic Portal would allow me to "pin" a favorite SMS contact so I could just drag something into it and drop on that person. I know I can click "share" but that would be more fun
Have you any marks on the front screen using the case without the front protector? I find the hinge protector drags accross the front screen when unfolding
I did not place the front protector on the V3 as it's very flimsy and have 0 scuffs or marks. The screen protector had micro scratches but that is unavoidable
That the problem the form factor for me on the Galaxy device was just annoying. For me the V3 is almost perfect. I am surprised you have that issue with the OP Open thought. It's a good phone!
Here are 10 reasons to buy the Honor Magic V3, as presented in the video: * Large front screen: The phone has a 6.7-inch front screen, which is larger than many other foldable phones. This makes it easier to use the phone without having to open it up. * Versatile case: The phone comes with a case that has a kickstand and a hinge protector. This makes it easy to watch videos or use the phone hands-free. * High refresh rate display: The phone has a 120Hz refresh rate on both the front and inner screens. This makes the phone feel smooth and responsive to use. * Powerful processor: The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is one of the most powerful processors available for Android phones. This means that the phone can handle even the most demanding tasks. * AI integration: The phone has AI features that can be used to search for items, edit photos and videos, and share content with others. * Long battery life: The phone has a 5,150mAh battery, which is one of the largest batteries available on a foldable phone. This means that the phone can last for a full day of use. * Fast charging: The phone supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. This means that you can quickly charge the phone if you need to. * Stylus support: The phone supports a stylus, which can be used for taking notes, drawing, and other tasks. The stylus is included as a free gift when you order the phone from Honor Direct. * Magic Ring service: The phone has a service called Magic Ring that allows you to connect to other Honor devices and use them as a remote. This can be useful for transferring files or controlling your phone from a tablet. * Affordable price: The phone is priced competitively compared to other foldable phones on the market. I hope this is helpful!
