@SALTArcadeAddict you say that you didn't need them, but, the headphones are super great!! The fast charger is unbelievably quick, I go from almost flat to full charge in a blink, so fast! The watch is ok, but I had the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra and it works perfectly on the Honor Magic V3, I will be honest I've not really used the pen yet, I did pair it to the phone which you have to plug it into the phone to do, but after that it's actually a cool stylus pen. So yeh is a shame but I think the free stuff were just a early order thing, so once they had sold a certain amount they stop the free stuff, like most companies do really.
I'm really not understanding what Samsung is doing by being so passive as most other foldable devices are passing them by. The ONLY thing Samsung has is the best software experience. Other than that, they are getting blown away by almost everyone else in the business.
They think people will live with the hardware because they're locked into One UI. They saw very bad sales on the Fold 6 so hopefully that will change their mind. I canceled my Fold 6 preorder and got a Magic V3 from HK and really love the amazing hardware. The software is really underrated too, very close to One UI on terms of features.
I literally just commented on another channel that I wasn't into foldables yet.. Now Honor is already making me rethink that statement, getting closer to making the switch
More like Google imo even with their new Pro Fold that just got released. High price for low specs. The Z Fold 6 isn't perfect but it does what it could do great. It's the only foldable that has DeX and separate home screens for folded or not. It's the only foldable that you could truly use with one hand without any shifting. I didn’t even think about it. It was just an approximation. I didn’t plan this. I was just sitting there and conveniently had there phones sitting there so I grabbed them. Plus it’s pretty obvious that this phone is significantly thinner.
I tried it at the store a few days ago. The hardware is impressive. Magic OS is pretty smooth now. It mimics iOS, which to me is a good thing (to some people they can say they copied). The only weird thing is, for several apps in the demo unit, I find that the display doesn't give you full 120hz refresh rate (ie. TH-cam, and some others). On the fold 6 it's not the case. You can argue you don't need 120hz in TH-cam, but when you're scroll, it's just too obvious it affects the experience; and it occurs in some other apps too. Also if you don't buy a new phone every year, the Fold 6 won't look outdated that fast and it has longer software support of 7 years (if Samsung really "honor" it or not it waits to be seen). If you're looking for an all in one as a daily driver, the Magic V3 is a compelling choice. Wider front screen, flagship spec cameras, thinness and light weight. The Samsung seems to have more mature and reliable (and more customisable out the box) software. Its Knox security (software + chip setup similar to Apple’s solution)which is certified might be important to some people. For value per dollar, it's really hard to compete with Chinese brands.
I see youre using T-Mobile. I'm seeing different listings showing different band support. Some show b71/n71 some don't. Have you seen a n71 connection on the phone?
The last year, Honor Fold grew up in sales a lot(in Europe). They have great preorder deals, and they tend to go on for the entire year with different gifts... So yeah sammie should rethink their strategies atleast in markets with more options. This looks amazing, probably the second Fold I'm really interested in after the 1+ Open. Also, Honor has a Dex-like mode (I don't know what it's called)-they've had it for a long time now, basically the Huawei's Dex moved on to Honor. I believe only three brands have it-Samsung, Motorola, and Honor (Huawei too, but we don't count that, right?). So yeah... has pretty much all the features and more. Just on ai its behind
I went to the shop see the display but the screen wasn't as pleasent as i thought. Didn't really like in real so i changed my mind. I am thinking of going for one plus open.
Samsung have a real problem if they don't COMPLETELY change the design of the Z Fold7, unless they start producing phones this amazing, for this price, and with the extras included, id say they have pretty much put the last nail in the coffin for their foldable phone sales, they need to completely change it! I've now fully adapted to my new phone and id even say i feel the software is just as good as One UI.
Because they banned US& Canada, because they are a part of Huawei, which the US banned initially. For US, we either buy thru 3rd party sellers, OR just wait for the OnePlus Open 2 (!), which will beat out all competition, as they were 2yrs ahead with the OnePlus Open, which I have currently. Hey thanks for showing us the phone but when you show us these cool phones could you provide a link or maybe we could order one or get one cuz that would be helpful anyway thanks again looks like Samsung and Google need to Wake up.
So hardware wise the V3 is the best on the market. My concern with using it in the USA is no service centers to fix if it gets damaged. That's why the Fold 6 is dominating here in America. For example me, I'm using a Fold 6 completely naked (Well with a skin). And I know that If I destroy it, Samsung will fix it asap or just plain give me a new one for a deductible. That peace of mind is what keeps Samsung winning. And unfortunately that also means that they don't really have to push the design because there's no good competition outside of the Google Pixel Fold series.
@@jtec99 Definitely, I forgot about OnePlus. Another good option. Their insurance and repair services are a bit wonky. But still better than anything from China just because of what I mentioned. Peace of mind. I'm too clumsy to not have insurance
@@jtec99 I feel you. It's definitely something to think about. I used to baby my devices until I realized I was paying insurance for a reason. That massive outer screen, great cameras and zoom, lighter, a bit thinner, way bigger battery.... Too bad we cant order direct from honor UK they are giving a 300 pound discount plus adding in the charger, pen and some other freebies!
I mean I just got the P9PF. And I said it year and year again that Google/HTC where like 2-3 years behind in hardware compared to the competition. And as much I like my new Pixel its hard to dismiss what Vivo, Honor and Oneplus are doing. Especially because many way Samsung/Google have the software lead. So far I must say my P9PF does not have the best software experience. Really tempted to test this one out. I mean just have a look at the left side of the screen when its closed how little you see of the hinge. On the Pixel there are literally 4mm between screen and the edge of the hinge. Also even thinner while havving the bigger battery and better camera system where Samsung and Google say they cant make it thinner, making the battery bigger or the camera better.
@@cbenson513really? I’m interested in getting the phone and I’m on AT&T, and good to know it is “allowed” on their network! Did you have to set any special APN or just pop in the sim and worked? Also, where did you buy yours at?

Also, Honor has a Dex-like mode (I don't know what it's called)-they've had it for a long time now, basically the Huawei's Dex moved on to Honor. I believe only three brands have it-Samsung, Motorola, and Honor (Huawei too, but we don't count that, right?). So yeah... has pretty much all the features and more. Just on ai its behind
I went to the shop see the display but the screen wasn't as pleasent as i thought. Didn't really like in real so i changed my mind. I am thinking of going for one plus open.
How did you purchase it and how much?
Samsung have a real problem if they don't COMPLETELY change the design of the Z Fold7, unless they start producing phones this amazing, for this price, and with the extras included, id say they have pretty much put the last nail in the coffin for their foldable phone sales, they need to completely change it! I've now fully adapted to my new phone and id even say i feel the software is just as good as One UI.
It looks like it doesn't open completely flat - does it?
How can I order this in the U.S. the Honor website only offers Asia Pacific, Europe, and Africa but no option for North America or U.S. currency.
Yes OnePlus Open is still competitive at 1yr old. I am currently having better software experience than Samsung, with the OnePlus Open, combined with using Google default AI apps (Phone, Contact, messages, Gboard, photos) onto the phone.
I have Dex alternative as well as better hardware all around. Plus this unit's design has the Sweet spot dimensions for one handed use, that Samsung was supposed to have. It also has dual screen stylus support & UI blaster. It trounces Samsung.
@@Maxx134a Thanks for the response. I have most phones Z Fold 6, Z Flip 4, SurfaceDuo 2, iphone 14 Pro Max, One Plus McLaren, etc just because it's kind of a hobby of mine I'm 58 and I have a lot of fun with all this new tech, I did see the Huawei ban a few years back so I understand your comment info I was just wondering how all these influencers seem to get them so easy, I know Flossy Carter has a connection but it seems like they all get them. I have got to figure out a way to get that new Huawei triple fold, lol. Just ordered the Pixel 9 Pro Fold havnt had a Pixel yet should be here Tuesday.
Mr. T-O, another treat "honest"recipes of a carry nice phone. Thank you. Several questions for you: is this the china version or global version? (Not sure if you mentioned that) How easy will be to get a "stylus" for this phone? (I have the OnePlus open n I can't find a stylus for it!) Is this phone such a game changer that you would take this over the OnePlus open right now or wait until the OnePlus open 2 comes out next year? One observation -you have always been honest about the Samsung phones, kudo's to you, they are falling way behind n I'm glad you haven't drank the Samsung Kool aid like some people! (Mr greggles? 🧐)
Oops, sorry for the typos..... great honest review!
Stylus is readily available from retailers that sell this.
Are these available in the U.S????
I'll have to look at the bands for this if it gets good service where I live
I want that phone!
That looks like you would have a great experience on both interior and exterior screens. I like that
I want to buy it but they don’t sell it here in the states 😢
Hey thanks for showing us the phone but when you show us these cool phones could you provide a link or maybe we could order one or get one cuz that would be helpful anyway thanks again looks like Samsung and Google need to Wake up.
So , availability in US market?
Where are u supposed to put the pen for it
hey can i know how is it like when you playing games such as genshin
Can Nova Launcher be installed on it?
So hardware wise the V3 is the best on the market. My concern with using it in the USA is no service centers to fix if it gets damaged. That's why the Fold 6 is dominating here in America. For example me, I'm using a Fold 6 completely naked (Well with a skin). And I know that If I destroy it, Samsung will fix it asap or just plain give me a new one for a deductible. That peace of mind is what keeps Samsung winning. And unfortunately that also means that they don't really have to push the design because there's no good competition outside of the Google Pixel Fold series.
That OnePlus Fold though...
@@jtec99 Definitely, I forgot about OnePlus. Another good option. Their insurance and repair services are a bit wonky. But still better than anything from China just because of what I mentioned. Peace of mind. I'm too clumsy to not have insurance
@@ReactionNation7 I haven't had the brass to buy one myself yet. If I broke it I'd be beyond mad at myself.
@@jtec99 I feel you. It's definitely something to think about. I used to baby my devices until I realized I was paying insurance for a reason. So now I'm more careless with my phones because I know Samsung will take care of me. I love how all these Chinese folds look but I just couldn't use it here in the U.S.
Really nice to see so many more choices for foldables. But damn a lot are just not viable in the US because of what you mention. Support.
When I check the Honor website they don't offer it in the US which makes me wonder why you got a review unit. Will one of the European models work in the US?
Only Because they banned US& Canada, because they are a part of Huawei, which the US banned initially.
For US, we can just buy thru 3rd party sellers, which is not a big deal, just loose the bundle incentives, OR just wait for the OnePlus Open 2 (!), which will beat out all competition, as they were 2yrs ahead with the OnePlus Open, which I have currently.
Yes OnePlus Open is still competitive at 1yr old. I am currently having better software experience than Samsung, with the OnePlus Open, combined with using Google default AI apps (Phone, Contact, messages, Gboard, photos) onto the phone.

@@Maxx134a Interesting. Thanks
Since im still well within my return window seriously considering returning my pixel 9 pro fold and buying this instead. That massive outer screen, great cameras and zoom, lighter, a bit thinner, way bigger battery....
Too bad we cant order direct from honor UK they are giving a 300 pound discount plus adding in the charger, pen and some other freebies!
That's what I'm talking about bro! 🎉🍻
Is this an Android Enterprise compatible device?
But is it available in the US?
The thinner the phone the hotter it's gonna run especially if gaming or anything. Things like this never get mentioned
no 1tb version???
Where can we buy it
My question its this phone works in USA iwant to know
Yup. I’ve been using it in the U.S. with T-Mobile on 5G with no issues
@@TechOdyssey thanks
I'm getting 5g on AT&T with physical sim card in it.
yes it works on all usa carriers as long as its global version
@@cbenson513really? I’m interested in getting the phone and I’m on AT&T, and good to know it is “allowed” on their network! Did you have to set any special APN or just pop in the sim and worked? Also, where did you buy yours at?
Where can I buy this phone ? I live in San Antonio Texas???? Please! 🚀🚀🚀
How do you get one because they don’t ship to the states?
Trinity electronics
trinity Electronics, wonda mobile, broadwaylifestyle, averagedad, aliexpress... lots of places
This is the one I was asking you about, what you think vs the Fold 6
Does it have a desktop mode similar to Dex or Ready For
yes
I noticed that this is on T-Mobile. Does it work well on their 5G network?
alot of users on reddit are saying it works fine, as long as its global variant
Does this phone work in the states?
good job cccp, good job
Sweet phone. Love that wallpaper!
it's looks pretty cool ❤
When I buy it. Do I buy the UK version from there website?
I tried today, wont work unfortunately (at least for me in canada)😅
@@redstang70 might have to buy it on eBay LOL
Samsung is definitely lagging behind in a market they created, wow
Yuuuuppp
They don't offer 16G memory model.
Does this have pen support
But.
Arent All foldable phones prices Inflated by around 30-50%?
Edit: all phones. It's pretty crazy what the cost is, versus what they sell them to us for.
is it a global phone? Will it work on Verizon?
few questions 1) does it work in the usa ? 2) does it work on att? 3) where can I get those usa versions?
Yes, Yes (at least for me I get 5g on AT&T with physical sim card. Plenty of places will ship to you in U..S., such as Wonda Mobile.
@@cbenson513 I'm definitely thinking about it
yes works on all usa carriers as long as its global, and you need to import it via ali or wonda
@@Jallelab99141 do you own it and do you think it's worth the price
Wonderful but can’t get in the US if you’re a regular person? No support…no resale value here? I’ve sold phones and iPhone goes within a day or two Samsung within weeks
I understood you can get it through Wonda Mobile. Never done it
Then wait for next OnePlus Open 2
I'm loving my fold 6. Wish it was a lil thinner but it's very sturdy. Honor looks great but don't trust it's software. Waiting on the reviews of the software to convince me further but man it looks good
Samsung owners really need to wake up to the reality that OnePlus Open answered all their desires, and next version will finally beat all competition. Even this Honor device.
IMO, I am currently having better software experience than Samsung, with the OnePlus Open, combined with using Google default AI apps (Phone, Contact, messages, Gboard, photos) onto the phone. I had two generations Samsung, then switched to the Pixel Fold with its handicapped UI (only 2 app multi).
I have Dex alternative as well as better hardware all around. Plus this unit's design has the Sweet spot dimensions for one handed use, that Samsung was supposed to have. It also has dual screen stylus support & UI blaster. It trounces Samsung.
@@Maxx134a I like OnePlus as well. But, when it come to foldables in the US I'm sticking with Samsung at least one more generation to see what they do. But mainly because of their software and good lock. But OnePlus has always been one of my favorite manufacturers so we'll see what they do next year
Where to get it at
The most attractive foldable phone ever!
The honor magic v2 porsche edition rsr was underrated hardware wise but the fold 6 special edition will have better software and ecosystem. Honor was doing great work
America might not like it very much, but certain parts of Asia love the saturation that Samsung has for whatever reason and even parts of India I like that as well with their own.
How do i get one in the usa?
Does it work with Google apps and android auto?
yes to both
