A factory paper filter just means it takes a little more velocity to get a RAM effect. Sure those filters have bigger micro holes but allow a minute contamination through.

I was gonna get one but I'm thinking it's mostly for looks than performance. The filter has a smaller surface for air to be sucked thru than stock.

Its over 4x the surface area of the stock filters

i took all that crap out . and the air box and just put in kn filters on the carbs. done.
and gained 8hp and more torx. now she screems
