Mom God rest her soul, we would sauté the bell pepper, onions, celery. Fantastic. Fantastic enjoy your mom. My mom died of cancer on Thanksgiving in 1996, we were very very close, I am the cook in the family. Thanks Again.

She brought back wonderful memories with my grandmother, especially homemade pear preserves. GOOD EATING!! I have REALLY enjoyed your WONDERFUL MOTHER!!! I could listen to her all day. Watching you two makes me miss my own mom so much. I came here for your family's cornbread dressing recipe. As I leave I'm feeling the love. What was it your grandmother said... "All you gotta do is get up and treat people right." (Including ourselves). My gratitude to you both!
Honey! Your momma took me back when she put that skillet cornbread in that bowl and added that buttermilk! Lawd have mercy! Now THAT is what really made this video one of my favorites! My momma would fix me a bowl when I came home from school and that cornbread would be nice and warm with that cold buttermilk. I lost my mom (pictured with me on my profile pic) on 11/25/2019 and this Thanksgiving 2021 she will be sorely missed but in her memory I want to throw down in the kitchen and celebrate with the family, giving God the Glory for the precious memories of our beloved Queen Momma/Grandmoma/Great-Grandmother! Thanks for sharing this wonderful video and family recipe. God Bless You both!
Lord I miss my mama!! I love you mama, she is beautiful and I know that dressing is good because that how my mama did it exactly. Thank you for sharing it. You have brought a tear to my eye and please give your mother a hug from me.
I love your mama! I lost my mom two years ago and her recipe for dressing is almost exact as yours God bless you and God bless your mama keep us up with new recipes thank you
Same with me regarding the loss of my mom (and dad, 8 months prior to the death of my mom). Watching this video brought tears to my eyes. Ms. Pal and my mother could have been sisters. I was getting intimated about preparing dressing this Christmas because of forgetting a few details and not being able to call and ask. I so appreciated this video and the dialog. I'm ready!!! Thanks for sharing Ms. Pal, from one Tiffany to another Tiffany!🥰
I made your dressing for Thanksgiving, this was my first time ever making dressing, I followed your recipe, I did not add any meat to it and I used vegetable stock instead. It came out delicious!! Thank you!
Oh my gosh!! My mother made the best dressing I ever ate!!! But watching y’all fix your recipe, got my ears laid back to try it. I WILL fix Pal’s recipe this year for our thanksgiving! Thank you for sharing!!!! By the way, how blessed y’all are!!! How blessed from the Lord’s own hand that you’re both alive and kickin and able to have one another and share this moment. My mother passed away in ‘91.
Ms. Pal, you are one of the few that cook like I was taught at my Grannies side. I am a dump cook myself. I could almost smell all that delicious dressing.
I just lost my granny couple weeks ago 🙏🏾 from backwoods Mississippi everything she cooked was 🔥 best dressing i ever had. I remember trying to still a spoonful out the oven shit fell on my pinky toe I couldn’t kick that dressing off for nothing 😂 granny laughed at me said that’s what I get she already let me taste
Your Mom was such an blessing to watch and your mother daughter interaction and relationship is beautiful with so much love! That is so wonderful that you will have this video to remember the best times together! Enjoy one another!
Momma is too funny!! At first, I was like, "noooooo, why they sharing the family recipe🥴🤔!" But then I thought, why not bless the world with this recipe. 🤗🙌🏾 Some of the best memories come from her cooking. Great job Mom and sister 🥰

I missed having grandparents. They had passed on before I was born on both sides but my mother was a wonderful mother and wife. But being the youngest girl in the family of nine kids I did get to cook but I did observe. You mother reminds me of my mother. Happy thanksgiving and be blessed.
My grandma used to use a Hen to make her broth then she would put the hen in the middle. thanks for the memories love watching you and your mother. Make dressing and talk about family. It’s very inspiring. Wonderful recipe too.
Thank you. Almost every year of my adult life, I would call my momma to ask her to talk me through making her dressing. She even came down stairs last year weaken from chemo to help me with the dressing. She passed away a few months ago, and is not here to help me this Thanksgiving. God bless you all. I’m originally born and raised from Georgia but lived in Connecticut so many years. For a long time many things I cooked with I had to bring back in my VW Beetle and finally as more southerners like myself moved here some things you could find in Mom and Pops grocers.
My momma boiled the turkey insides with the onions and bell pepper. She also used homemade cornbread and toast. Seasoned to taste - no measurements. Momma never used store bought crumbs. Papa loved his cornbread and buttermilk. Thank you for taking me back - oh laawwwwd, I miss my elders.
This is how my aunt used to make dressing. I’m so thankful for her showing me how but as I got a lil older I would forget the temperature & time to cook it. It’s the chunks of chicken for me as well as the love you both put into make this dressing! Thank you!!

So love your mom. This took me back to when my mom would cook dressing. No other dressing has compared to hers. God rest her soul 🙏 ❤ The cornbread and milk was something she did as well. Happy Thanksgiving 😊
I too love cornbread but I use buttermilk hot cornbread and buttermilk is so good 😊 brings be back to cook in the kitchen with grandma she giving me buttermilk and cornbread in a cup to eat until dinner was ready.

I love You & your mom. I grew up on Cornbread & buttermilk. My kids ate the same. That's breakfast lunch or dinner..LOL JUST BECAUSE. THANK YOU MOM & AUNTIE. YOU GUYS TOGETHER ARE THE BEST
I came across this video a year ago when I was determined to make a homemade dressing. (previous attempts failed...too soupy or not enough flavor) BUT I followed this last year and EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE said it was the best dressing they ever had in their life! I am making it again this year for the holidays.... heck, I may make it randomly during the year too lol LOVE watching you gals cook and your momma is a gem! Be blessed!
I generally boil chicken thighs(dark meat, more flavor). But I always sauté just celery and onions. But the rest of the recipe is similar… And I just love your Moms energy. And where I’m from, we say, “Not Never”…..😂👌🏾💯❤️
ON NO YOU DIDN'T MAKE A BOWL OF CORNBREAD AND MILK!!!!! Now, that's old school.. Ladies you took me home. I grew up on this. Tears are rolling downy face. Thank you do very much. p.s. tell your mother you love her everyday. My mom left me 11 years ago at 92. Less than a year after my father left me who was 99. We ate home-cooked meals like this everyday. I miss them everyday. Please. Please, please tell your loved ones you love them while they are still here. My cousin used to say "Give me my flower whilst I can smell them. Thanks for taking me home again. p.p.s. look forward to more videos from you and your lovely mom!
Just came across your page. beautiful. thanks for sharing. My mother and grandmother made it the same way and do do I. It the hen. I live in The holder.
This is my first time here watching one of your videos. But I need you to know that I have fallen in love with your mom and you must share her with the rest of us! She is the bomb!!! I love the way she share her stories and I would love to hear more. Btw, I will be trying her recipe this thanksgiving.
I totally agree! My former Aide, a few days ago said to me:your great grandchildren are going to have to share you with me! My response to her: you’re in for a rude awakening if you think that they are going to intentionally share me with you! My great grands that she was talking about are almost 5 years old and 19 months old. They LOVE them some me! YES! But I’m always going to LOVE ❤️ THEM MORE!
I have a small memory lost and because I love you guy’s relationship,I somehow remember to come here to learn how to make cornbread dressing yearly ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I don't want to cook my vegetables before adding them. Once I cook them again in the dressing, they will be overcooked and lose some of their taste. I am vegetarian, so my mother didn't put poultry stock in mine. So I had my own separate pan. Enjoy.
I can just feel the love between this beautiful mother and daughter! The food! The respect! and honor they have for one another is just wonderful. I can’t wait to try this dressing!
Ok I learned as well over the years from my grandmother and my mother how to make stuffing as well. Myself as well have been instilled with those cooking skills that was passed down from my parents as well and folks love my cooking and im young. So thats a plus.
Dear you have the sweetest mom and have taught this 70 yr old a lot about dressing I can’t wait to try this next month God Bless

I have a great dressing recipe but found myself watching this and loving your momma!! She’s cracking me up! She reminds me of all the older country women I know of all races. 😂
I love watching you and your mother cooking together reminds me when my mother was alive how we would cook together for the holidays. I just love your mother I going to use this recipe most definitely. I pray that God continue to bless you both. I’ll be looking out for more videos 🙏🏽💗
Be blessed!
Thank you for sharing! I’m trying to get caught up on all the messages! Blessings to you and your family!

What a Blessing!
She just turned 80 this past June!

I generally boil chicken thighs(dark meat, more flavor). But I always sauté just celery and onions. But the rest of the recipe is similar… And I just love your Moms energy. And where I’m from, we say, “Not Never”…..😂👌🏾💯❤️
Definitely sauté the vegetables and boil chicken so you can use that juice from the chicken

This was my first time today seeing these ladies and I LOVE THEM♥️
I totally agree!
What a treat watching you both. Blessings and Happy Thanksgiving!!
All
You did a great job. It looks delicious.
I have a small memory lost and because I love you guy’s relationship,I somehow remember to come here to learn how to make cornbread dressing yearly ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great job. I've always sauteed my vegetables in butter first. Will have to try your method.
Mama said stop playing with her.. put some more in the bowl 🥣 you wanna taste it lol🤣🤣
Love your Mama.
Recipe looks great.
Ok I learned as well over the years from my grandmother and my mother how to make stuffing as well. Myself as well have been instilled with those cooking skills that was passed down from my parents as well and folks love my cooking and im young. So thats a plus.
Her storytelling is everything!!! Made my heart smile! You & your mother are so beautiful!!♥️♥️ I enjoyed this video!
