On No 😢! I don’t know how I managed to miss you stencil sale. I had looked at the a couple of times before some of these new ones were released and just couldn’t afford them. I hope you will have another sale soon. I would really love to have some of your stencils.
Loved the papers. I have seen people paint with Nova paints but not on geli plate. I would use a wide mouth funnel used for canning to transfer the paint into the bottle. You could probably use a small spatula to scrape the sides into the jar.
@@SusanCliftonArtist Yes, search for disposal funnels. You can cut off the tip so the paint will flow faster. It is similar to what they would give you at the gas station to put oil in your car.
Too messy to clean and I don't want to wash the paint down the drain. I bought those paper cone shaped cups they use on water dispensing machines. Really cheap and I just cut the point off and I didn't lose a lot of paint and they are disposable.
Loved this video! I have Nova Color Paints and was thinking about how nice it would be to be able to squeeze them out on pallets and gelli plates. I like how you’re reusing the empty containers too. Thanks for the showing how you optimize your workflow…love that kind of content! OH, also, I find raw umber + white make a good faux-titan buff! :)
I have recently discovered your channel and have been binge watching since! Wonderfully inspiring. I ran into some weird effect with Liquitex fluid paint. It doesn't stick properly to the plate and retracts a bit as if used with water and it gives me a cracked effect. I only have that one bottle of Liquitex fluid, so not a big deal and I kind of like the effect. Love how you are mixing the colors - so much to learn and experiment.
@@SusanCliftonArtist I have one of the Liquitex basic colors and it works nicely, so I hadn't expected that the fluid would't but it just doesn't stick to the plate properly. First I thought it was my plate but it was the color. I guess it's all trial and error up to a certain point, LOL. Thanks again for your great videos - so inspiring!
Do you have the name of the book for mixing colours? Love the new stencils. The results are wonderful. Looking forward to you being able to send International. 😊
I won't say better but it's a good price. I go through so much paint and the Golden fluid is soooo expensive. I do not like the liquitex basics and their fluid paint is horrible. My favorite is still Golden fluid. Nova color is inexpensive and is a fast drying paint on the gel plate. So I'm liking it a lot.
I bought some disposable paper cone water cups. I cut the tip off the bottom and I can squeeze all the paint into the bottle. It works much better than a funnel. I don't have a utility sink to clean the funnel. The cone cups are cheap and easy.
I didn't want to use a funnel because cleaning it in between colors would be a pain. And I didn't want to wash the paint down the drain. So I bought those cone shaped paper water cups and snipped off the end. It's perfect and no paint wasted. I'm able to squeeze the end and get all the paint.
. That’s a brilliant solution which I’ll jump onto immediately. Small world story, way back when my mother’s twin brother who worked for Dixie Cup invented the cone and holder! So thanks to you and to Vance V Elkins for a great idea.
Cleaning the paint out of a funnel must be difficult. So I didn't want to try that. I'm sharing an office with others and I try not to mess up the restroom with my paints. I'm going to look for disposable funnels. Thanks.
The Titan buff looked almost like a Naples Yellow with that pinky tinge 🤔 Love these stencils & prints!
Thank you!

Do you know if they sell disposables funnels? I would hate to have to spend a lot of time cleaning the funnel in between colors. I bet they do.

Look for a set of silicon funnels. They should wash clean after use and reuse.
Funnel - Common kitchen variety with larger spout.

super...interesting.
Love it ALL! I put a piece of clear tape over writing on plastic so doesn’t rub off. Thank you 🙏
Great tip! I'm sure it will rub off. Thanks for watching.
The new stencils are so beautifully designed!
Thanks. I think these are my favorites so far.

Thanks for the tip on the raw umber. I'm placing an order today and I will try that.
Great session!! Thank you! 🥰
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching.

I also tried the Liquitex fluid and didn't like it. I do like the Liquitex basics for the gel plate. Have you tried those? Thanks for watching.

Love watching you! So much fun! I didn’t see the name of the book about mixing paints that you were discussing … did I miss it? Thanks so much …

@@SusanCliftonArtist thanks so much! Gosh … this gelli printing is addictive! I love doing it and your ideas are great!
Thank you for sharing! May I ask you with what paper do you pick up the ghosts?❤
It's deli paper. I get it on amazon. here is the link: amzn.to/498i17b

Also wondering what part you use at final pull
I use rice paper for final pull. This one: amzn.to/3mgru8L

Get a small funnel so you aren't having spoon it in.
