#stencil. I'm so happy that I stumbled onto your videos. I bought my first Gelli Plate about 8 years ago and played with it a little before putting it away for YEARS. Since I started watching you I use it almost every day. I also have one of my prints in a local gallery exhibit this month. I'm loving all the new techniques I'm learning. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us.
Fantastic lesson as always, Susan! Your videos are the ones primarily responsible for my getting interested in gel printing. I really love your presentation style! #stencil
I went to google and looked up Nolan Han and his artwork. Just reading his page about how he came to paint cinder block walls really grabbed me. Perhaps I will have an opportunity to see his work someday.
I discovered your channel recently and I am enjoying watching you do what you do. Innovative and colourful. I do also like the subtle shades in this video too. Thanks for sharing. xoxo
#stencils. Loved the video. Gelli plate is new to me. Tried it six years ago and didn't like it.(I think it was the way we were getting taught). Rediscovered it a couple of months ago and have found a new love for it. The possibilities are endless. Thanks to the likes of your videos.
What fun and lovely work with this new stencil today, Miss Susan! I'm ALWAYS a fan of subtle stencils, so I was very excited to see you work with them, too. That grey one was my utter fav. So sweet! Hugs, deb
Finally…someone demonstrating more quieter effects. Most others are creating busy, gaudy pulls that jump out to much in the final works. I am new to your channel, but will be watching all of your videos.
I love those colors. I need to get some golden paints. I just started doing jelly printing and I only have a small kit I bought of Amsterdam. I like them, but I’m running out of the black pretty fast. I love that stencil. Can’t wait to see who it goes to. It amazes me the art you created from prints from stencils.❤
I don’t normally comment but I absolutely loved your subtle papers. I’ve put aside time today to try using just one stencil and limited palette. Thank you so much. From beautiful Tasmania
#Stencils Beautiful subtle colors, and the stencil is really nice too. I have a question: what do you mean when you said "I'm not registering the paper?", sorry if it's a dumb question, 😆
It means placing the paper carefully so that each layer prints in exactly the same place. There are different ways to do this but the simplest is taping one edge of the paper to the table before you start. PS There are no dumb questions! Everyone starts learning at the beginning. I’m sure Susan would agree.
Registration is when you either use a tool or tape to line up your paper so it falls in the same spot every time. It's good if you are doing multiple layers and planning a complete composition. It's not necessary if you are using your papers for collage and tearing them up anyway. I hope that explains it.

That is wonderful. I love it! Thanks for sharing that with me.
Beautiful papers. Love your stencils and the papers are beautiful! Glad I found your channel!
Welcome, Thanks for watching.
Great video. Some worked, others didn’t quite meet your expectations. Very realistic, nothing fake. I like that.
I leave it all in. Why not? I learn from my mistakes and you can too. Thanks for watching.
i loved the 3d effects you achieved on some of the pages all with a limited palette and one stencil!
Thank you. Just shows you there is no end to the possibilities. That why I love it so much.
#stencils. Loved the subtle colors, mixing with titanium white. Perfect for some “quiet space.”
Thanks so much!

Thanks for watching.

You're welcome.
#stencils…TY Susan for another valuable video. I’m pretty sure you’ll be meeting your next goal before your next pull. 😉

I'm glad you rediscovered it. I agree the possibilities are endless.
#stencils I love how some of the papers had such a 3D quality about them. I hope if I win I can make papers like that.
Sorry you weren't one of the winners. Maybe next time. I love all you comments.
#stencils I really enjoyed this session. I especially liked the 3D effect.
That was a happy accident. I think that is my favorite.

WOW Thanks for that.
#stencils. I really enjoyed this episode as my stack of papers were conspicuously devoid of subtle patterns. Thank you.
Yes. Mine were too. I need to do another session. Still don't have enough.
Finally…someone demonstrating more quieter effects.
Most others are creating busy, gaudy pulls that jump out to much
in the final works.
I am new to your channel, but will be watching all of your videos.
I guess some don't understand balance. It's ok to use busy and gaudy, but in very small amounts.
Thanks. The idea for this video came when I was working on the collage that I used the black and grey. I don't do enough neutral papers.
I agree.
Great demonstration . I love the colours with this #stencil is very cool. TFS
Thank you so much

Thank you @cherlreid5768 for explaining. Yes, I should have explained. I was in the moment. LOL. I lose myself in gel printing. Thanks for watching.
