YES!! My new favorite fishing TH-camr with new content!! WooHoo!!
Haha. I appreciate it!
I've said for decades - if I had to depend on fishing to feed myself, and could only pick one lure, it would be a spoon. Specifically a 1/4 oz. gold weedless spoon.
Be a tough one to beat thats for sure!
Can you provide a specific make/model of the spoon you recommend? I'm new to fishing...thanks.
@@johnmorgan2001 1/2 oz Johnson Silver Minnow is a globally top ranked spoon. H&H "The Secret" also a great option.
@@Jacemang_Outdoors thanks buddy, are you a fishing guide?
@@johnmorgan2001 Anytime. Not a guide but I probably should be lol
Great footage from above and under… water temps warming fishing is getting hotter!
Yeah buddy, thanks!
Great job done bro. Nice red 👌
Thanks!
Solid fish man! Hopefully that brown tide clears up sooner than later
Thanks! Yeah, Im definitely ready for some clear water.
@@Jacemang_Outdoors Baffin is sloooooow right now. Brown tide is everywhere down there.
@@tnafishing7 I havent hit it in a while. More of a winter pattern for me.
I’ll see you around Jace. My wife is from corpus and we come down a lot and fish.
Good stuff! If you ever see me out, make sure to say hello.
Very nice, Jacemang!
Many thanks!
Man that was a great video and awesome catching. Nice job is that Newport faster
Thanks buddy, yeah its alot faster but I dont have it yet. Waitin for new model, theyre outta stock.
Skipjacks are out and tons of stingrays everywhere right now. Thought I was casting at a school of tailing reds, but it was some Cownose rays 😂 over at Corpus Christi Pass.
Haha, good thing you didnt snag one.
Awesome video! Looked like an aqua dream spoon you were using. How do you like the aqua dream spoon vs the silver minnow? Does the ADL twist the line up. I’ve been close to ordering some of their spoons and skimmer heads but haven’t just yet.
Thanks buddy. Ive been experimenting with different spoons. Aqua dream seems to twist line slightly more even with inline swivels. This could be anecdotal but I seem to miss more fish on aqua dreams, bigger profile hook possibly? Theyre also about twice the price. At the end of the day, they all work.
🤟🤟🤟👍👍🔥
Thanks
Awesome video!! Some good action on the spoon!! What brand and ounce is that one?
I tried a couple different brands that day. I prefer half oz. Johnson silver minnow seems to be the most available and always produces.
So the quickest way to catch reds is using a gold spoon? Just going off your video title, great video🔥
I guess the quickest depends on how good theyre biting but its definitely one of the easiest ways. Thanks
How about a catch N cook one of these days?
Did a white bass catch n cook recently. May do another one in near future.
@@Jacemang_Outdoors Yeah, I saw that one. You made a badass sandwich. I want to see you catch N cook a redfish, trout, or whatever you catch out in the Gulf. Red snapper or King?
Great video. Nice work. Ok...you have to go catch 10 redfish in 1 day...gold spoon or popping cork?
Spoon for me, Im a power fisherman, love to burn water.
What kayak and what electronics are you using?
I currently run a Hobie Outback. Rarely use electronics inshore here other than the calibrated Mark IV eyeball, too shallow to be of much value. Offshore I run a Lowrance Hook series.
where did you get the daiwa rod at?
Academy, I have quite a few, theyre inexpensive.
What kind of Hobie do you use
Hobie Outback
How do tie your spoon
In a perfect world, I use a clinch knot because it picks up less grass but lately Ive been using a loop knot for everything because it saves time.
Hey Jace, what's your regular job? I know you're active military. Just curious.
Feel free to message direct on FB, Instagram.
spoon fed babies all day... 🤣
