When you take 2k soft resets for a shiny and still haven't gotten it, but it only took your friend 50 resets.

In one of the ultra wormholes in pokemon ultra moon, I encountered a Uxie. I got its health down, and threw ultra balls but it didn't got in. Then I threw a normal pokeball and i caught it. Why!?!?
My kryogre, when I fought it, I wasn't prepared . I didn't save before, nor did I have any ultra balls. Or great balls, or anything but POKEBALLS. Normal pokeballs. I was too scared to weaken it so I just used a pokeball. It went in the first one and it was a critical catch too!!! I named it lucky.
Timer balls. They are your best friend.
When you paralyze AND confuse your opponent, and they STILL get perfect hit every time!

Try adding the effect of attract or cute charm in the mix then complain after they one hit ko your mon
Then YOU get JUST ONE of those and can't move a muscle
Don't forget the crit they get as well!
When my pokemon gets paralyzed it turns into a statue but when the opponent is paralyzed they turn into professional break dancer and move every time.

Literally every pokemon player ever: OK, i got 6 max revives, 30 revives, 40 max potions, 20 full restores, 5 ethers, 3 elixirs, 2 max ethers, and 2 max elixirs.. I think I'm ready to battle Brock now.

I was going to a parade and I was on my Ds and when we arrived my relative kept yelling at me to close it but I couldn't because I was trying to catch a Zekrom. I turned it off and didn't touch it for years because I used to believe that if you turned it off without saving it would reset it. I opened it up years later and realized I still had all my progress
I had this issue when I was playing undertake. My boyfriend would bug me during a battle. If you leave it idle long enough it automatically just continues.

I realize this comment is a year old, but I'd just like to say I do this on purpose. That is, if you're referring to the old woman in the house. After about 10 times or so, I've noticed that it's highly likely you'll find Pokerus.

When someone invites you to trade but they only have shiny legendaries and you don't have a single one
Scaena Nigra and none of the trades are worth it for the other person and they leave the trade because you have no shinies and there entire box is shinies.

Mine are:
-Facing a pokemon I haven't caught, but all my remaining balls are "too good" to waste on it like specialized balls and ultra balls
-Running out of PP during the league and having no way to restore it (bonus point if it's the only move effective against the elite 4 member you're facing)
-Running out of repels in the middle of a cave/dungeon
-Having only 1 key for item bind
-Wanting to use a specific pokemon that can only be obtained when accessing the areas after beating the league
-forgetting to take off the EXP share of a pokemon and searching through 20 boxes of pokemons only to remember that it was on a pokemon that's still in my team.
-Getting the right answers in Blaine's Gym.
-Being stopped from exploring/advancing by a random NPC because he:
1-Got drunk and won't let you go
2-Wants to sell you some illegal candy
3-Saw some rare pokemon footprints nearby
4-Says there's a power outtage
etc
-Having to walk for 3-5 minutes to get to a cave/island that can't be accessed by flying
-Making a mistake and overwritting my save
-(Gen 1 only) Storing healthy pokemons then retrieving KO pokemons, then having no healthy pokemon , you instantly pass out and lose money.
-Removing my TM slave for a Gym and get out of the city, trying to access an item behind rocks/bushes and having to backtrack all the way back to the poke-center.
-Lowering a trainer's pokemon HP to 1 but killing any wild pokemon I try to capture.
-Equipping items that boost a specific type of attack on a pokemon that knows 4 moves with different types
-When Quick Claw doesn't proc.
-Fighting a steel type that knows ground moves with a fire type.
-Forgetting about levitate.
-When the enemy holds a Sitrus Berry.
-Poison sting
-Supersonic
-Fighting a pokemon with prankster.
-Getting the wrong ability on a rare/traded pokemon.
-Running out of escape ropes.
-Having a single save slot
-Hypnosis, Sing or Supersonic hitting all the time
-Sand Attack
-Using a randomizer and encountering a lvl 2 Buizel with Sonicboom.
Supersonic only has a 55% acc but it fucking hits everytime it's used against me, like wtf is that.
Oh, and also hypnosis, which only has 60% acc.
Wait you used repels? I gained most of my experience in caves excluding the trainers.

Pokémon wasn't made for competitive battling, it was made for children. Not that non-children can't enjoy it, but that doesn't mean it wasn't still made for children in the first place.

The best part about Detective Pikachu is how the designs translate well. They look like Pokémon, but not like cartoons, and it was a v e r y fine line to walk that they did pretty epically
I was just doing Surge's gym today in a FireRed Nuzlocke and had more trouble with it than I've had in my last three or four Kanto play throughs, if not further back than that. The struggle is real.

Step 2: Go to a nearby place with dif. music
Step 3: Come back
Boom.
Ride music is gone.
