I love Foca! I dump mine into a container, and add some washing soda and oxiclean and mix it up. The clean is fantastic, and you're right, it smells very clean! No probkem with underclothes with this combination. And i use a top loader, which helps.

I think I may be allergic to washing soda but I am going to try it because I bet your clothes look nice and clean. I love a top-loader washing machine.

Nice review Sis! I hope they repair your machines there soon.

Thank you, sis. I think the washing machine repairmen are doing the bare minimum so they can keep coming so they can get paid.

You can't go wrong with SPEED QUEENS! Guaranteed to last 25 years minimum.

That is the truth, Albert. The newer machines that are on the market these days don't even last five or six years.

You hit the nail on the head right there! Those HE machines are horrible. They DO NOT wash well at all, in fact, I don't even know you can call it washing. Next thing you know, they'll want you to take a shower without water, as if it's this precious commodity that once used is gone forever. Water not only regenerates, it's still very plentiful for all of the inhabitants of our planet. As for the machines breaking down, that's the one thing they do best!

They really are horrible, Jaykay. These machines are sprinkling a little bit of water on the clothes from time to time. The machine is never full of water. It really isn't washing at all. It is funny that you mentioned about the shower. The management in my building installed a water-saving shower head. It takes forever to take a shower and they said they will give us a fine of $600 if we change the shower head. If I ever move somewhere that will allow me to bring my own washing machine, I will buy an old-fashioned machine. You are right, we have plenty of water. They are wasting their money in this building because there are machines broken every week.

@@sashamoniquetalkssoapandsu1114 I know what you mean about the showerhead. Just about every one of them today include a restrictor inside. Sometimes the restrictor can simply be removed, sometimes it has to be drilled out larger. The other thing you can do is change the showerhead yourself for something better (preferably vintage, so it doesn't have this malarkey). They cannot enter your apartment unless you call them, for maintenance, or an emergency. And should that be the case, barring an emergency, you simply switch the showerhead back. That's what I would do.

@@jaykay18 Hello Jaykay, I tried to take the showerhead off but it would not budge. They threatened to fine us $600 if we removed it. I will try it again tomorrow.

@@SashaMoniqueTalks If they actually went to the trouble of using pipe thread sealant instead of teflon tape, that's a real scumbaggy move.
