Jokes aside: less escort missions, more to the romance part of the game and random encounters like in skyrim. Having all the monsters in fixed position is a bit boring also if they remove the pause in the game like in dark souls it would be more challenging thats all
I am looking to explore everything, try every vocation, uncover hidden lore, learn everything about the new race we got showed, the princess, the sovran of vermund, I want to see and fight all the monsters, and explore ofc all the pawns features and AI, I just wanna go in deep in this game and do everything with time, I played the first game for so long and I have done everything you can do and I just cant wait to repeat it all here
more classes more skills more enemy types more lore a better crafting/enchanting system too !!! like what's the point of killing everything and getting materials/loot if we can't use them to craft cool items/potions :) tons of romance!!! make it easier to find your true love improve AI for pawns more stuff to do with them socially better side-quests (also don't make them disappear when u reach a certain point in main story quest) I HATE MISSING STUFF c'mon bruh fewer kill x stuff of this type of monster and escort missions maybe a camping system i'd rather not have a travel system....i dunno something like walking around the world exploring looting chests and herbs etc... and finding a random dragon when ur not ready and still challenging him feels sooo good a way to know ur 100% the game like a buletin board or something so i know i did everything in it achievement list???? maybeeee book/codex for all enemies in-game where it explains their weakness/abilities/behavior/drops/strengths (unlocked after you defeat them a few times of course)
The hype is real. DD really is an underappreciated game, so I hope this sequel gets it the spotlight it deserves. I'm not sure what I'd like to have other than a better designed world that doesn't feel empty, more varied enemies so that it doesn't feel repetitive, or useful items and combinations that don't feel like useless load.
Dropping the "furry slayer" character here for a sec, I think this new cat race looks awesome! They are, like, what the Khajit wish they actually looked like
They are cut content from the first. They had so much more planned. It's crazy how good and complete the game felt when they cut out entire races and travelling to the moon.
I feel what sets Dragon's Dogma apart from other games of the I'll and hell just games that have fetch quests, is the fact that the ox escort quest exists! I love that it exists, being forced to carry the Hydra head in real time to the Capitol is a bold move that absolutely pays off in hindsight. It shows the player that they will actually journey and experience the world in an unforgiving trudge. But as well demonstrates that this isn't your average RPG or game. I don't know how to properly explain it. I just feel like how the ox escort quest is apart of Dragon's Dogma's identity. Basically all other games will be a cutscene that just warps you to the Capitol or warps the objective and you do have to walk there yourself but you'll be rushing to get there and or just fast travel to that point. But no Dragon's Dogma wants you to experience the connection between the player and the cutscene. It wants to marinate you in it and you have to take your time and it's slow and meandering but damn if I want more games to do this than just teleport me to the next seen! When you put it side by set with other questions lines from any other game, you see the importance of the ox escort quest; you see why it was put in and how unique it is and when you consider it it might click that you actually enjoy the non hand holding and the slow pace to take in the scenery as you traverse all the way to the Capitol to deliver the Hydra! It's such a great choice of Capcom to implement it like this and I wouldn't want it any other way!
Great take on the Ox Quest! I couldn't aggree more! It was absolutely a bold move from capcom and those who managed to get through it really had what it takes to fully appreciate this game! I didn't my first couple of tries and quit before delivering the head because I was too impatient. But as soon as I just sat down and enjoyed the game on its merits I downright fell in love.

I was always so hyped to see what the left half of the map in the original dragons dogma was going to be. I had assumed it would be some sort of dlc like skyrim had back in the day, but it never came to fruition. I am SO HYPED to see what they have planned for this game, I really hope DD becomes the equivalent of what capcom did to monster hunter with world. and is a smashing success!
Because I'm more partial to wolves, was kinda hoping a wolf race over a lion but hey animal race so I'm still happy. Now the real question is, will they bring back the breast slider? 🤔🤨🙃
Oooh, imagine. If the first scene is anything to go on, there may just be a carriage-like fast travel system using said Griffin, though I believe that's cutscene specific. But if we did have mounts I hope we have a lot of unique choices.

I am positive that the cat/lion race will be my faveorite race to play if it's playable. Imagine a giant warrior-kitten!
They seem to be inspired by the Leonin and/or Tabaxi from D&D
