Funny how the game INTENDS for the Bow users to be the Guns of this game but due to a mix of oversight and a little bit of TeeHee all the Magic Users are walking shotguns when using Holy Bolts.

The first game is probably my favorite game of all time and so far i am not disappointed at all in dd2. It's amazing

This game is freaking awesome The AI is brilliant and the enemies are so coooool I can't stop playing 😂

I want to love this game, but I can't overlook it's many flaws. It crashes constantly (I meet the recommended system requirements), and while disabling DLSS helped a bit, I can't go more than a 30 minutes without it just dying on me. There are also some janky AI/quest designs. I've had issues like quest NPCs not spawning, AI bugging out and becoming not responsive. There's also a serious lack of new monsters/bosses. This game needed another year or two in the oven.

The puzzles to getting into the barrows are apparently not to stop people getting in but to stop Draugr getting out.

I wish rook could level up with you and your pawn

I’ve been reopening Skyrim and it’s been a blast. Oblivion on the other hand is a completely different story. The amount of time I’ve put into that game essentially makes any play through an auto pilot.

for an easy way into mods I'd recommend Nolvus it's a guided installation of a mod pack self installer. You choose your desired settings like resolution and enb and click install! the installer will install the entire pack and resolve conflicts for you. the only thing i had to do was wait and press play!

I had the same problem with survival mode as you. However, I just discovered relaxed survival mode, which keeps the hunger and sleep mechanics but lets you fast travel. I know you don't like mods, but this will make survival mode 100 times better to deal with!

i honestly think all you really needed was some background music, like skyrim music or something like that.

if you have a chunky pc of sorts, check out Nolvus, it rekindled my love for skyrim again. It comes with an auto installer and literally 2000 mods. still keeping the feeling of skyrim, but has so much opportunity throughout the world. give it a try!
